Host was excellent - so accommodating to my needs, due to missing a funeral back at home, the host was kind enough to let me drop my bags early so that I could go somewhere quiet and they recommended where. As it was when I arrived, the cleaner said she would be 30 mins, so I left my bags, went for a wander and then came back to let myself, and she had even taken my bags to my room, which I wasn't expecting. It really helped having the room early so I could sort myself out before heading out. On what was a emotionally sad day - I instantly felt soothed by the room, it had such a magical charm to it, and I loved being in the centre of old town and looking out of the balcony.

Nothing - it was amazing place to stay

Very nice and comfortable room in a great location in the Old Town. Old and atmospheric building – very well renovated. Breakfast in the cafe. My room was on the 2nd floor (another room on the 1st floor), and on the ground floor there is a shared kitchen. Possibility to leave and store luggage in the kitchen.

Narrow stairs and very steep stairs. It is a bit difficult to use the kitchen on the ground floor and the terrace on the 3rd floor. But such are the charms of an old tenement house in the old town :)

First of all, it is in the old town, so great location, most of the restaurants that we went to were 2/3 min away. Same for the beaches. The room is spacious, with a big, comfort bed, window to the street and a bathroom. On the top of the building there is a terrace, pretty good view over the neighborhood. The breakfast was surved near by, at Café Roma, really good choice, they have a variety of pastries, gelato and kind service. It also has a kitchen with a small fridge and others, in case you want to prepare a quick snack. All in all, i would say is very clean and well kept by the lovely host.

Casa e Bottega is a plaesent place to stay for few days. It's located close to the main attractios, just a 5-10 minutes from the sea and castle. Everything in the old town is very close. We liked beautiful room and a charming, old house. You have to be carefoull on the steps and I'f you are high person, because the sink is low. We had supper on the roof tarrace and it was good idea to eat different, than in restaurants. In the kitchen there were some cookies (crousaints), water, coffee, tea and juice.

Everything was great, but we missed the strings on the balcony to dry towels. Also be aware that the building is old and cold. In April we heated with air condition. And toiled is really small, not for very obesity person (if you are, not recommmend).

lovely location, breakfast voucher system worked well. Excellent cleaner always left the room feeling welcoming!

Bathroom TINY. I only just fitted into the micro - shower cubicle. (size UK16). potential visitors should be warned. I would have liked to have been able to boil some water for a drink indoors, but understand why not. No rail up the very steep and narrow stone stairs to terrace at top pf the building - didn't feel safe.

Choosing this apartment was the best decision :D The location is great, in the heart of the old city. Porto Viecha is just around the corner. The room was cosy, shared kitchen was well equipped. Also tasty breakfast (coffee + cornetto) in the local cafeteria was included in the price. I highly recommend this place for the stay in Monopoli. Thank you Chiara! 🤍

The location was perfect for wandering around in the old town and harbour area. Our room was comfortable with very modern decor and a good ensuite. Aircon was a great help as it was pretty hot and humid during our stay. Our hosts were readily available to greet and answer queries by text and sorted a small issue very cheerfully and promptly.

It wasn't that we didn't like it but be aware the property is a charming old house hence narrow with one room per floor and quite steep stairs linking each level. So be prepared to climb. The communal kitchen was basic but functional, organised and immaculately clean on ground floor. Vouchers were supplied for breakfast at a nearby cafe and lots of places to eat other meals so limited cooking facilities didn't matter.

Location was good and the room, spacious and clean

The hot water tank must be small. I ran out of hot water while washing my hair. Otherwise, fine to have a quick shower. The staircase is very narrow - best to avoid having a suitcase to get up and down.

The location was perfect, and the building was beautifully decorated. The room had a small balcony from which you could see the street and the bed was comfortable. The place was located in the city centre just a few steps away from bars and restaurants, but quiet and peaceful to have a good night of sleep.

The door from the toilet was difficult to handle, and we even ended up almost locked up for this.

Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location in a quiet street in the old part of town close to the sea. Very kind and helpful owner. Really amazing place, just be careful, quite a few stairs to the bedroom 😁
