--Fantastic location if you are using the ferry port or the airport shuttle, which is directly across the street -- so easy and convenient. --Staff is so helpful and flexible, able to leave baggage all day after check-out and retrieve it easily on departure. -- Spotlessly clean and the room was bright and sunny (which is rare in the city); amazing hot, strong shower. -- Easy walk to points of interest in the city, historic district, metro, etc. Perfectly safe and walkable.

The queen-sized room with balcony might be a little small if you are two people with a lot of baggage and might be worth upgrading to a slightly larger room. Otherwise, for one or if you don't have a lot of luggage, it's fine, and the room opens to a huge terrace, so there's extra space for lounging.

Very well run B&B. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean with a small terrace outside. An espresso machine was provided in the room and additional tea, coffee and pastries were available daily in a small bar area outside the room, which I thought, was a nice touch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The B&B is very central for the port, the train station and all the main attractions. It is also near the metro and bus stop. There are lots of restaurants in the area and the area itself felt quite safe. Highly recommended.

There is a safe in the room but it is not fixed to a wall? The locks in the sliding doors opening onto the terrace don't work and as the terrace is not totally private, this needs to be looked at. The small hooks on the door are not enough.

Clean bright room with new furnishings. Room opened to a terrace – view is Naples apartments but some fresh air and more space. Bathroom is very small, good shower. Comfortable bed. Complimentary wine, water.

The location is awful – I don't know why people praise ir in reviews. It is on the 5th floor of a dingy office block, like going into an office. No-one around except when we checked in and out, felt very isolated and odd. I would not have liked to be there on my own. Very busy street near another even busier one right near the port so noisy and smelly. There were restaurants fairly close and the metro.

Location under 5 minutes to Universita Metro station 2 stops to Garibaldi where most tours start from and also where you can catch Alibus to and from Napoli Airport. Staff always responds to email or phone questions promptly. Flexibility as we booked online and turned up at property within 30 minutes to dropped off our bags before 9.00 as we were going on a tour. When we were leaving despite us handing back the keys they allowed us to come back (Naples Marathon) and use the facilities and leave our bags to allow us to do some extra touring without our bags. Antonio the building reception was very helpful throughout our stay.

View from the room was amazing. Great location to hop on the ferry to our next destination.

Unfortunately the small bed had bed bugs and our child had bites all over. They said "sorry". Not the greatest response. Otherwise the place was great.

everything was absolutely fantastic! the stay located 10-15 minutes from most of attractions, room was nice and warm with balcony and the owner is so great and so helpful. I highly recommend this place and I hope to be back one day! as an extra info - please try pizza from the place nearby - Teresa, you won’t regret.

the only one thing I could think of is quite big humidity and in the first morning I step in paddle of water, but with fan in the bathroom it was great- absolutely small thing and doesn’t change the amazing stay!!

We had a comfortable night's stay at De Gasperi 55. We picked the King bed sea view room, which had a brilliant view of Naples' harbour. The room is spacious and clean, and we liked the ample books they left in the room for guests' perusal. The bed was quite comfortable. The location is close to the harbour (5-10 mins walk), which is very convenient if you're travelling by sea. It's also a 5 mins walk to the Alibus station at the port, if you're taking the Alibus to the airport. For food and shopping, it's just a 10 mins walk to the Spanish Quarter and via Toledo. The B&B is located inside a high-rise office complex, which makes finding and checking in at the B&B a bit less straightforward. But it should be fairly simple if you follow the clear instructions sent by the B&B. Even though the area is a bit quiet at night, the level of security of the building (including main entrances being locked at night) is reassuring. Considering the very reasonable rates, I would highly recommend De Gasperi for a comfortable and very convenient accommodation.

Though we liked the bed, the covers were a bit thin. The hot water in the showers seem to run out quite quickly, but that may be an issue with the central water heating in the building.

Fantastic location that allows you to reach most tourist attractions on foot

The breakfast at a nearby cafe where the staff was just horrible. It was always the same young waiter who was very rude with us and other customers. The cappuccino was horrible as was the croissant. Worst breakfast of our holidays. We recommend immediate change of place for breakfast.

The terrace is realy big. The room has everything you need. You can use the little kitchen outside the room. It's very close to the old center, a 1 min. walk to the metro and from the airport you can go by alibus and the stop on the harbour is only 3 min. away.

You really have to wear shoes on terrace, otherwise your feet are black of dirt.

Perfect location with a phenomenal view of the bay and the port. Wonderfully warm welcoming and helpful staff and easily available for queries. The rooms and the bathroom were spotless! Would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy the delights of Naples.

I can honestly say there is nothing we didn’t like.
