The room was very nice, clean and modern looking. Bathroom a little poky but manageable. The breakfast changes every day so if you're not keen on what's there day 1 there will be different options later. As many other reviews pointed out, the hotel is located near the station and as such is in a 'rough' part of the city. We didn't have any issues but bear it in mind, the flip side of this is that you can get to trains/metro easily for day trips to Pompeii etc.

There's no elevator to get heavy luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel's location also meant that there aren't a lot of good options for nipping out for nearby meals - expect to go to the station instead and get the metro to a different part of the city. Not always appealing after a long day out up Vesuvius. If you are stuck for somewhere to go nearby on an evening I'd recommend the Trattoria da Pasqualino just 5 minutes away, it doesn't look like much but the staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the prices aren't marked up for tourists. Cash only.

The location is perfect if you want to be near the train station and outside but near the historic quarter. The staff is professional and super friendly. There were little goodies in the bathroom that I was not expecting. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, we could not make it for breakfast since it starts at 7:30 am.

Breakfast starts at 7:30 am. I wish it would have started earlier so we could have eaten, but that's not the hotel's fault. The staff is so lovely that the reception told us we could take fruit and see if the breakfast person could make us a sandwich. We were in a rush, so we only took fruit. Thank you.

The hotel itself was nice. Air condition, clean, and great variety of food for breakfast and friendly staff.

The hotel did not have elevator, which made it troublesome when you have a luggage. The location could’ve been great as it was right next to the central station. However, I was not fond of the location which isn’t the hotel’s fault, more like the city itself. During the night a lot of homeless people would gather in the area outside the hotel, and the next morning there would be poo and trash everywhere after them, and no one cleaned.

I chose this place after a flight from Naples was cancelled. I wanted somewhere very near the main station (which this is in spades). I arrived late at night, but the receptionist was extremely helpful & guided me to an excellent restaurant just behind the hotel. I spent a comfortable night & next morning decided to go and get breakfast at a cafe as hotel breakfasts often aren't very good. Instead I found the Bella Napoli does an astonishingly good breakfast - not just fruit, scrambled egg, sausages, but wonderful things like bacon on grilled courgette. All is freshly cooked by the wonderful women serving. It is one of the best - probably THE best hotel breakfast I've ever had, anywhere. And at an astonishingly good price for a city-centre Naples hotel at the middle of August. Highly recommended.

The staff were fantastic. The room was clean. The breakfast was 10/10. We had a one night stay as a stop over. The location was perfect for our need. The neighbourhood is a little rough but the hotel provided us a clean safe place to stay without straying too far from the central station. Everything about the hotel was great. Air con was strong. Shower was fine. We read the reviews before getting there and now we dont understand how this place can get bad reviews.The staff gave us recommendations of places to eat. We received an upgrade on arrival and on our departure they gave us a bottle of wine. We recommend this hotel 100% if you need somewhere to stay close to the train station.

One of best hotels I have stayed at. This was a last minute booking and I was really impressed with the service. Stayed from the 1-3 of July . I booked Hotel Bella Napoli but it seems they have another hotel which is Hotel SANT'ANGELO PALACE, that was where I stayed. Came to Hotel Bella Napoli and the guy at the reception was very kind to escort me to the other hotel because my phone was down, I forgot his name but he was very kind. A big shout to Luigi and Cesare at the reception, they were amazing and friendly. Vittoria at the breakfast was really kind, the breakfast was top notch, they had everything and more, best breakfast I’ve seen in most hotels. Lastly, the cleaners were nice too, they asked if I needed more towels or anything at all. The hotel was very clean which I appreciated a lot. And I was given a bottle of wine which was so nice of them.

There was a strong smell in my room, I reported this twice and it seems they fixed it after I reported it again, the smell was gone. Aside from this, everything was great.

The hotel is really close to the train station, and other reviewers have commented on the area being a bit sketchy. It's a typical train station area with the wonders of the world. If you walk with confidence and purpose, nobody bothers you. Breakfast really set us up for the day. There was a varied selection and more being made through the service. Staff so friendly and gifted a bottle of wine when they discovered we were getting the train from napoli to Sicily.

Very clean hotel, with great stuff. Main city station for metro, train, bus is only 100 meters far….breakfast is also very good. And one very important thing…..if you like to walk, pizzeria Lantica Michele is only 10 minutes avay…..Sorbillo pizzeria some 15 minutes…..also you have great pizzeria only 100 meters away, pizzeria Gaetano…the best bakery in Napoli is 5 meteres away….so great location to explore Napoli, and visit another place like Pompei, Sorrento…

Area around hotel, and all Piazza Garibaldi is full of strange people, but in five days we did not have any problem, and police is always there…

The staff were friendly, local and willing to help. The location near the Garibaldi central station facilitates urban and suburban travel. The facility is modern with a few details to be fixed, but overall not disturbing.

The surroundings of the hotel. The cleaning of the rooms needs to be improved (dirty towels folded on the bed have been put back). Every two days complete change (This ok!).

Room had a balcony what was a great bonus! The bed, sheets and towels were very comfortable and we got the perfect sleep(streets were noisy but hey it’s Naples). Breakfast was good with lots of options, we also enjoyed that the coffee was made on spot by the lovely ladies. The hotel itself is very modern and renovated so we highly recommend and near train station so you can easily go everywhere (airport bus also stops there). Staff was always there and very welcoming we felt like home :)
