The staff were fantastic especially Vincenzo and Diego. Vincenzo made us feel very welcome when we arrived and gave us lots of information about the local area. I lost my bracelet while I was in Naples and Diego searched the Dining room for me. We couldn't find it but the next morning at breakfast Diego enquired if I had found the bracelet or not. I thought that was incredibly kind. The breakfast was excellent and there were lots of options. Our room was clean and spacious. It looked exactly like it was advertised. The air conditioning was excellent. The Hotel is located perfectly if you want to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi as we did.

The Hotel is located in a very dirty part of the city. We didn't realise how dirty Naples would be until we got there and we were quite shocked by this. However don't let this put you off staying as the Hotel itself is spotlessly clean and we felt safe in the area. The WiFi was very poor at times. The Dining room is open in the evenings but some of the food was not as fresh as we would have expected and we did wonder if it was microwaved. The mattress could also do with being changed as it was clear the springs are gone. If you turned over in your sleep the sound could wake you. These are small things that can be fixed. So we would still recommend that you stay in the Palazzo Salgar.

The location is excellent - you are not in the tourist crowd and yet you are close to everything you need in the city. Very easy for those coming to Naples for the first time - it is located next to the sea and the tourist port as a landmark. A perfect location for trips around the city but also outside the city. the main train station and the local metro station are located a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. One of the top pizza restaurants is about 100m from the hotel - Pizzeria Del Popolo - an excellent choice for lunch and dinner. The hotel is safe, clean, the staff speaks English and is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very simple - it is not very diverse, but it fulfils basic needs.

Internet is slow - sometimes very slow.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The lobby was beautiful. The staff were nice and friendly and didn't have any problems with English. Breakfast was good! The hotel is close to the harbor - you can easily walk to the the ferries leaving for Capri and other islands.

The hotel would incessantly send me auto-generated e-mail spam. The mobile app is kind of pointless. The walls were a bit thin so a lot of noise could be heard from the hallway. The area around the hotel is very dirty and full homeless.

Breakfast. Out of the four hotels that I visited in Italy, theirs was the best. Plenty of hot eggs and bacon. As well, a decent assortment of fruits, salad, and breakfast pastries. Location. It is within walking distance to the train station, where you you can ride to Pompeii, Sorento, Rome, and other places. The city metro is also about a block from the hotel, which can take you closer to other more touristy places in Naples. As well, it is an easy walk to the docks where you can ride a ferry to Capri, Sorento, and other places.

Location. Although I felt safe in the area, there was a lot of trash on the streets, especially along the Via Marina, which runs parallel to the waterfront. Additionally, the hotel is not in the touristy area of the city, lacking decent restaurants and such. After exploring the city a little, I discovered that I would have preferred a hotel closer to the Castel dell’Ovo or the Chiaia neighborhood (Piazza del Plebiscito area), where there are more tourists and finer dining.

Quite clean rooms abd facilities. The location was most apt as it was centrally located to many tourist spots as well as the main dining street at Tribunali. Everything was walking distance of 10-15 mins from the hotel, quite convenient! The staff were friendly and helpful too. Especially Mr. Vincenzo guided us on how to get to nearby locations by bus or by foot. He was quite patient and always replied with a smile :) thanks to Team Palazzo Salagar for a lovely stay in Naples 👌👌👌👌

We liked the room, it was like the photos and very clean, cool and neat. very important the fridge had things we drink and we used it, the charge was reasonable. the breakfast was good. The stuff was kind and help us and answer all our questions. I will come back for sure.

The only thing we didn't like was the amount we paid for the transfer arranged by the hotel, the extra charge due to an hour delay when we had informed in time and the driver didn't have to go and wait. and finally, regarding the shower, it was not easy to wash without getting the hair wet, especially my wife who had gone to the hairdresser because there is no hand tap to take a shower as well as the faucet of the sink, water was thrown everywhere. if these two are changed it will be a perfect room.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The location is not bad but not the most central. The room has all that is needed and is newly deigned. Windows shield the noise from the street. Breakfast is good.

The shower is super small and once I had an issue with hot water in the middle of the day. Door of room to corridor is not well insulated so one hears everything in corridor and every time someone goes in and out the entire wall shakes.

The reception staff were amazing in all aspects of our stay, helping us with directions, changing rooms for a better view, places to see. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was soooo delicious, everything from fresh fruit salad to eggs and bacon, croissants and lots of different kinds of coffee. They even provided us with a vast variety of gluten-free croissants, breads and crackers. Also within walking distance to the train station or a cheap taxi ride.

The rooftop terrace was open but didn’t have any chairs. However it’s understandable because it is winter.

The location is fabulous. Really easy to get everywhere. Great for our first time in Naples. Room is very large and clean and was very calming. Shower was great. Bathroom basin a bit odd but nothing major. Staff were REALLY helpful with recommendations of bars, restaurants and nice walks.

The doors to the rooms take quite a bit of force to shut. This was a bit annoying one morning when we wanted to sleep in but we just couldn't because people were leaving their rooms and had to slam the doors to shut them. This wasn't a major problem every day just one day.
