It was very nice stay for us with an awesome room and kind host. This property is more like an apartment, with a private room equipped with private toilet and a dining space with coffee machine, fridge etc shared with another guestroom. Room is very neat and clean and spacious with a big and comfortable bed. Toilet is very tidy and spacious. Host was very nice and kind with us offering help in finding restaurants and other things we needed. Property is within one km from the Napoli Central railway station. Breakfast in included in a nearby café as most of the Italian hotels. Overall very pleasant stay.

We didn't find anything to dislike.

Finding Stella Diana is a bit challenging because it is buried deep in the Centro Storico, on a narrow street off of Via San Biagio Del Libral. It's a circuitous 20-minute walk from the Napoli Centrale train station, but after we became more accustomed to the main landmarks it was easy to find coming back from our numerous wanderings around the city. The B&B is up two flights of stairs but not difficult to negotiate. Our room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of light and a large window opening onto the street below. There was also a mini split heater / air conditioner but we didn't need to use it during our stay as the room temperature was perfect throughout. There were plenty of towels and housekeeping will provide new ones if you need them. The bed was large and comfortable, and there were also two comfortable chairs, a desk, 2 nightstands, and a TV (which we never turned on). Plenty of hot water and high pressure, as well. There's a common area when you first enter the B&B but we didn't use it. Breakfasts are provided each morning at the nearby Gran Caffè, the proprietors of which served up delicious coffee and were able to locate vegan brioche for us. Truly nice folks. One thing to make clear: Stella Diana is in an area that might make some people nervous. The streets are narrow and congested - we were there during Liberation Day and just before the professional football team was preparing to celebrate its first league championship since the days of the great Maradona, and there were masses of people everywhere. There are also universities nearby, with lots of students and other young people hanging out in the cafes, restaurants and bars. But we felt safe the entire 3.5 days of our stay, and walked all over the neighbourhood and beyond in the early morning and late at night, without fear (except of kamikaze scooters). Naples has a reputation as a rough, gritty city.

The shelf in the bathroom was not securely fastened to the wall, so you couldn't put anything on it. This left no flat surface for placing cosmetics, toiletries, curling iron, etc. Everything else was perfect.

Stopped for one night. We didn’t expect anything much for such a price, but we got a cozy, large room with all amenities. The owner is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe. This b&b has a very good location, you can easily walk to all the main attractions. You can get there by metro and walk about 8 minutes. The bus stop towards the Amalfi coast can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Nearby is the main busy street of Naples with various shops and restaurants.

Everything was great

Stella Diana is a little gem in the heart of Spaccanapoli, in the historical center . The location is extremely convenient as all the main attractions and monuments are easily accessible by walk . The room and the common space are very clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is a special treat at Gran Caffè Souvenir where you can enjoy fresh pastries and of course a good caffé, or any other drink of your choice as a fresh squeezed orange juice. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and this makes a big difference in your experience. You feel at home :) Umberto is an amazing host , very friendly and with a great sense of humour. He explains you everything you need to know about the main attractions to visit and his tips are highly valuable! Basically you don’t need any tour guide and you can enjoy your staying in Naples as you were a local. Bonus : exactly at the opposite side of Stella Diana there is the Chiesa Santa Luciella that is a must to see and it’s just few steps away from the B&B, exactly as via San Gregorio Armeno where you can enjoy handcrafted figurines etc . Don’t forget to get a lucky horn, it’s the perfect gift for family and friends! Grazie mille Umberto , sono stata benissimo e Napoli ti rimane nel cuore così come i napoletani!

Room was clean and spacious with effective AC and the bathroom, equipment was modern. Wonderful Italian breakfast served in a nearby caffe. Access to small kitchen and a fridge provided. Great location, right in the centre but on a quiet street. Nice hosts and easy contact. Highly recommended.

The only drawback was lack of storage space for clothes and other staff - an additional cabinet would be nice.

Hotel Stella Diana is a great choice for those who come to Naples for a short trip. The hotel is located in the very center of Naples, you can easily reach all the tourist places on foot. I would like to appreciate the cleaning man, who is extremely nice and cultured. The hosts also allow you to leave your luggage and pick them up at any time, which is a huge advantage.

Amazing location, heart of the historic centre. Everything is around or 10-15 min walking distance. Hundreds of food places around. The host is super friendly and works hard to make the experience great. The room is very clean, comfy, and large. Bed comfortable, kitchen available, and coffee provided. Also, local breakfast included

Nothing, all.good. Naples is one of the greatest places in the world

For location within the city- fantastic. The host was super accommodating and extremely attentive to his guests’ needs. He allowed me to leave my bags with him, since my flight arrived earlier than the check-in time. As a solo female travler, i felt safe inside fhe facility and in my room. Overall, if you plan on staying in Naples and you’re trying to find a place for location/convenience and safety, I’d recommend Stella Diana.

The room with the double bed (the room with it’s own private bathroom) was a bit hard and uncomfortable. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop me from sleeping and the bedding was quite nice. Lastly, the noise from outside (or from other tenants entering the building) was easily heard, but once i shut the shutters and blinds, the noise was hardly there.

Great location, felt safe and comfortable. Very clean room and all the staff that I saw (only arriving and departing) were very helpful and friendly. It’s easy walking to all the churches, restaurants and souvenir shops too. Great coffee and pastries at nearby cafe with lovely staff.

Can’t complain about anything.

Location is great! Right in the city centre. Balconies of two of the three rooms are cute. The inside of the building is very Italian and beautiful. The owner/host is very amicable man who gave good tips.

Cushions were too high and mattress a bit too springy for my taste. There was a bit of mold or like rust in the bathroom, but otherwise clean enough. The bedsheets smelled a tiny bit if you're very very sensitive about these things like me, but ofcourse it's not a hotel. Other people would probably not notice. All in all it was a very nice stay.
