I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful and unique old villa, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the villa's charming architecture and its enchanting surroundings. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming to ensure my stay was perfect. Their hospitality and attention to detail were exceptional, making me feel right at home. The villa itself was impeccably maintained, with each room thoughtfully decorated to highlight its historical features. The peaceful garden was a delightful place to relax, and the overall atmosphere was serene and rejuvenating. Well, where to start. I was looking for a Hotel between Turin and Mont-Blanc and found this absolutely stunning property. When we arrived we just admired the amazing structure and the fantastic views and surrounding gardens. It's just like stepping back to the late 1800s, most of the furniture is of the period with the exception of the art from an artist friend of the owner dotted around. The owner, a lady called Charlotte kept us entertained with the stories of the history of the building including it being a base for the Italian Nazis in ww2 to the tales of Ghosts. Lulu the golden Labrador is the house dog and is always there to accept the odd piece of biscuit going spare. Over all it was one of the best hotel that I've stayed in for years. It's a good 45minutes drive from any main highway but it's so worth it. Her Restaurant is also very good, we had pizza and it was excellent, not the best pizza I've ever had but still very good.

The drive from the motorway is a bit of a trek, but nothing can be done about that, also make sure you fill up with fuel first at personned fuel stops as the local fuels stations didn't like my credit card and are mainly cards/cash only.

The room (and the whole villa actually) is large, wonderfully eccentric, antique and full of treasures. Access to terrace, and bathroom that is larger than some of the flats I've lived in. The hostesses Carlotta and Beatrice, as well as doggos are v. friendly. All special requests like bubbly for breakfast or laundry were smoothly fulfilled. Breakfast is plentiful and on a terrace with view to the garden.

There's no shower head in the bath, so washing oneself is a bit awkward. There's pizzeria, but the cocktail bar doesn't really exist. It's a bit remote, so if you want to eat out, or on days when the pizzeria is closed, the options in walking distance are limited.

Gorgeous villa located at very picturesque heights. The room’s have original interior, preserved from some 19-20 century, which gives you very special feeling when staying here. Villa has a large garden, our kids enjoyed a lot playing there with owner’s dog. Owner was very hostile and kind, helped us with everything. She also owns pizzeria inside the territory of the villa - highly recommended! If you are looking for place to stay in that area, this place is definitely worth every euro!

Villa Cernigliario is a gem but nor for everyone. If you are looking for traditional luxury and hotel services, this is not your place. It was perfect for us. True hospitality and the experience of a unique property. One of a kind. And Carlotta, host and home owner, makes it perfect. We were lucky to spent time there before they close for the season. If you enjoy art, history, uniqueness ... stop here. Excellent breakfast.

Nothing. Amazing experience.

Absolutely marvelous mansion, Downton Abbey (well, a little smaller) meets Novecento! The entrance, the stairs, the period rooms, the creaking wooden floors, the high high ceilings, everything oozes the 19th century. Mrs Cernaglio does everything to make her guests as comfortable as possible. Breakfast with fresh croissants is on the terrace, dogs Sabu and Lulu play in the garden. In the house you’ll find all kinds of contemporary art works from local artists, which gives the old manor a fresh atmosphere. Mrs C speaks English and French, she studied in Paris. It was her father who bought the house in 1945.

We had an unforgettable stay at your hotel. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible, creating a rare and memorable experience. Everything from the décor to the service was exceptional, and we can't thank you enough for making our visit so special. We will definitely be recommending your hotel to others and look forward to returning in the future.

The exceptional beauty of the location. Carlotta is very gentle, nice to be around with a great expertise in art. The breakfast with homemade cakes, so delicious! The bed were so confortable. We felt privileged to experience so much beauty, meeting very nice, gentle and inspiring women. I love the two dogs too.

Beautiful historic mansion with lovely gardens. Very friendly and helpful host. Gorgeous rooms with an esoteric decoration & furniture. Very authentic and a delightful change from bland chain hotel accommodation.

Lack of in room tea & coffee facilities.

Dog friendly, great garden, wonderful art, history - Carlotta is amazing
