The location was great. It is just a short walk in to the old town of Ostuni. I stayed there for 8 nights as I also did a 5 day tour with a local guide and I used this hotel as my base. The room was nice and spacious and I had a view looking towards the old town which was lovely, especially at night when it was all lit up. The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace/restaurant which had very nice meals and the staff there are fabulous. The breakfast was also good with a nice variety of hot & cold foods. Travelling solo, I felt very safe walking in to the town in the day and also at night where there are many restaurants and shops. All the staff at the hotel were so welcoming, friendly & helpful.

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Monte Sarago. We actually ended up staying in the self-catering villas (part of the hotel company that must be booked separately). We had originally booked the hotel because we thought there was a pool so that staff at reception kindly upgraded us to the villas. We stayed for 10 days in Ostuni. The hotel and villas are located just a short walk from the centre and so they are also very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day which was ideal for us. The pool was a welcome bonus during the heat of summer. It was overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend the villas for a longer stay and the hotel for a shorter stay. Lots of beaches in the area that must be reached by car. And the supermarket was also just a short drive away. We also didnt have any issue with mosquitoes because the villas all had nets in the windows which was a huge plus for me! I also particularly loved the rooftop terrace bar with delicious cocktails and drinks in the evening to watch the sunset. Lastly, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Can't think of much at all! The self-catering apartments were very clean but there was very little in the line of cleaning products so we had to purchase them. We figured that was just a health and safety precaution for families with children. The breakfast was also delicious in the hotel but the room was quite warm and stuffy so not the most comfortable room to sit in.

The hotel was way above our expectations. Spotlessly clean. Superb design internal and external. Lovely spa. Great breakfast. Updated and convenient plug-ins for electronic equipment. A rare exception where you can checkout at 11 and not 10 and checkin at 13:00 I believe. Parking very convenient across the road in an olive tree plantation where one can leave their car in the shade of an olive tree. Very cool literally. We had a lovely view of the sea. The entrance from the street is very unpretentious which just increases the pleasant surprise once you are inside.

Spa hours could be longer, and an outdoor pool would be great.

The reception staff were excellent so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Our room was perfect with a lovely view of the City and coast.

We were disapointed the swimming pool was no longer available and the ' Private Transfer' to the beach was so terribly expensive 45euro each way for a 10 kilometre trip !!!!! So we caught a bus which was 2euro each.

location: easy ride from station with the local shuttle and 10 minutes ride to centre. cleanliness : nice crisp bed linen and room breakfast : very nice all what you need to start your day( too many croissants) the view from the restaurant

the noise from the main road. if you keep your window open you won’t enjoy the room/sleep the tv has boring Chanel, no news or other!! the downstairs bar: dark not a place you d enjoy for a drink

We loved the location and the spacious parking. Ostuni in general is an amazing place and if you rent a car you can travel very easily to the neighboring cities. Hotel's location is perfect for someone who rent a car and within a walking distance from the city center - maximum of 10 minutes away. The staff was very friendly, and the room was very spacious and clean. We loved our stay there!

The breakfast could be better- it had a lot of pastries and fruits which was great, but we would like to see more of local food, and more options with eggs, crepes/pancakes, and vegetables.

Modern hotel in great location, no more than 10 minutes walk to Piazza Della Liberta, the main area in Ostuni. We stayed in the white suite which was fabulous and the bathroom amazing. Lovely views of Ostuni and to the sea. Loved the spa! All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Perfect service. Rooftop bar and restaurant had superb views and great food.

On a busy road but location made up for this. Shame swimming pool wasn't open to guests at this time. Balcony a bit narrow for such a beautiful suite but overlooked Ostuni and sea.

The staff at the hotel are so lovely. They went out of their way to help us with taxis and when we had to leave for our flight at 3am they left us some pastries at reception and made us coffee.

Probably true of Ostuni as a whole rather than just the hotel but the cost of taxis is a lot! We went 8 minutes down the road and it was 40 euros. If you are in the area I would advise renting a car instead! The hotel has a driver you can book so I am not sure if the lack of competition means the cost is higher but it definitely adds up!

Good location close to old town great breakfast and free car park next to the hotel. The room was spacious and quiet with a view. Helpful staff.

We could not open the window on our room because there was no fly screen on it and someone close by was burning something so it stunk. The aircon is controlled by reception it cannot be switched on or off from the room.

A perfect spot for exploring Ostuni and surrounding areas. The view was fabulous looking up to the old town, and especially at night. The free car parking was very convenient as well. The buffet breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Our room was spacious with a large balcony. Would defrecommend this hotel for a stay in Ostuni.
