The location of the hotel is perfect in the old city for tourists. Easy access to all the visitor attractions, fabulous cafes and amazing restaurants. The hotel is a beautiful place, it is an excellent modern conversion to a high quality specification. The rooms are a good size with modern facilities. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool is an extra bonus which is absolutely essential during any visit to Palermo. The best part of the experience is the friendly and helpful staff - Matteo, Siri and Julian work very hard to make sure customers have the best possible experience. The breakfast is lovely and recommend it. Overall, an amazing hotel with excellent staff.

Really great stay and would 100% come back. Great location near old town, but also peaceful in the actual hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows in the rooms. Lovely communal facilities - great little pool and lounge beds and seats. Able to order drinks brought to you by the pool. The hotel was only built recently so everything feels very nice and new! The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in organising anything we needed - taxi to airport, taxi to the beach, trip to a vineyard one day too. Definitely recommend!

Nothing. Not the property’s fault but make sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitos at night! We had a few in our room

Where shell I start? I think you can´t find a better place to start your tour trough Palermo. When we arrived we had to decide immediately to stay one more night. There is so much history in this building, still there with very cool designed rooms. I think the pool is the perfect feature for summer. The staff is very attentive. Great breakfast, high quality products. I think we will come back soon.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They sent us a detailed video of self check in (we arrived late), restaurant reccomendations which would be open late and organised an airport transfer for us- all before we even boarded our plane over! They also secured a great table at a fantastic, romamtic restaurant for a special occasion. Breakfast was fantastic, and fresh gluten free baked goods were given each morning to cater for my dietary requirements - which were unlike anything I've ever experienced, just amazing! We loved the pool facility, and the security of the hotel. It really does feel like an oasis on those hot days.

The location was ideal for sightseeing. We felt a little on edge walking back through side streets etc but just because we're not used to it! The area always had people around so you would feel safe enough.

A beautiful small hotel in Kalsa district facing the park where judges Falcone and Borsellino used to play in their childhood. Tucked in a quiet corner but walking distance to all sites and sea side promenades. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars around . Super clean area, shiny cobbled streets. Lovely decorated common areas and a very appreciated swimming pool to refresh when hot. Rooms are comfortable and elegant and well equipped. Staff are an absolute gem!!! They help with everything from sites to visit to restaurants recommendations . I can only think of coming back!

Hooks or a place to hang used towels would be welcomed :)

Great hotel at a walk-in distance from the main train station. Beautiful rooms with a lot of architectural history. The staff went many times out of the way to help us and make sure we had a great time. We even got some free pastries and coffee!

Location, facilitatiies and the staff were exceptional. Plenty of contact before we arrived, Matteo and Guilia were also very quick to respond on Wattsapp to any pre arrival questions. They organised airport pick up which we thought would be just a normal taxi,but instead we got a chauffeur and a luxury car👌. The recommendations for places to visit, eat or socialise were all excellent. Alivàru du Carlo, literally 2 mins from the hotel entrance, is not to be missed. All the staff we encountered were always eager to help. Spotlessly clean hotel in all areas. In my view, Basstione Spasimo is the perfect place to stay if visiting palermo.

Location is amazing, staff super friendly and gave great recommendations for restaurants/sites etc. The outside pool area is a real paradise. Would definitely return if we ever decide to come back to Palermo

I want to make clear that this hotel is fantastic and the only reason we deducted a point was because the sound proofing in the room wasn't great. We were in a room above the reception and could clearly hear conversations/phones ringing etc from early morning. Ear plugs did the trick after the first night and perhaps it was just luck of the draw as our room was the first at the top of the stairs

It is an absolute oasis in the middle of the city. The property itself is quite new and pleasant to look at, the breakfast was lovely, the pool was great, the room and bathroom were very clean, modern but authentic - but the true warmth of the hotel lies in the staff. Professional but kind receptionists and cleaning people that know your room number by heart and help out where needed. The square surrounding the hotel was also quite charming, with kids playing every evening and nice bars and restaurants.

We chose the smallest room. Comfortable, despite the bed being less spacious than we’re used to. If you’re someone that likes a bit of wiggle room when sleeping, I think the bigger rooms had larger beds.
