centrally located just walking distance to historical site and city center. nice and very accommodatable staff. allowed us to change to higher floor room.

the hotel doesn't have any free parking. actually there are public parking in front of the hotel, just outside the lobby. it were sadly controlled by some shady group of people asking for money and insist that you cannot park there unless you pay them. what a scum. there are guarded and gated parking beside the hotel. it cost 20€ per day.

I must admit after reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit nervous about booking this hotel, however, I must write that after spending a week here it was excellent. We booked a room with terrace and was on the second floor, which was slightly back from the main road. Patio doors were double glazed so we heard no noise at all. It had a lovely large terrace and a wonderful view of the sea. The room was clean, bed very large and comfortable, coffee machine, kettle, and fridge; perfect for a weeks base. I had read some bad reviews about breakfast but I honestly can say if you could not find anything to eat there is something wrong with you ! Fantastic choice from hot food, breads, toast, pastries, cold meats and cheese, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, juice, teas, coffee, and so much more. Lots of choice that changed daily. The pool was a relief from the hot sun with lovely shaded areas if you wanted them. The area was perfect, about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Palermo, or 10/15 minutes to the harbour or the train station. Several ways to get to the centre, winding through the ally ways which a no point we felt nervous or uneasy. We found the people of Palermo to be very friendly and helpful.

Great location, free parking near the hotel, a lot of tourist attractions in walking distance. And sea - just cross the street. Our room was spacy, balcony with sea view. Beds were comfortable. There were tea/coffee facilities, small fridge (minibar), tv, good wi-fi. Big bathroom. Very good and rich breakfast buffet. Hotel has small outdor swiming pool - very nice to sit near the pool and relax in sunny weather. Definetly we will return.

There was problem with our room door lock - it didn't work, but staff really fast resolved this problem. And one more thing - we booked triple room, but when arrived to room saw that towels, slippers, bathrobes, cups etc. - were just for two persons. Thanks, beds were three ;) Of course, after asking the staff brought all necesary things, but it be more pleasant if everything were ready before arrival of the guests.

Decent for the price in Palermo...sweet price point for palermo.. vs quality.. its not bad compared to other options. Easy n free parking. Helpful staffs.

The streets outside is just dirty and surroundings don't feel safe to walk.alone in evening..but that seems to be a common vibe in alot of Palermo.city...not hotel fault. Breakfast is very boring and can definitely be improved.. Light switches in the room was malfunctioning making the room abit dark. Standard room was very small..we upgraded at a fair price to a junior suite...much better and clean but lights were dimm and switches not working well.

Excellent room, the view and the fact that it was quiet, a luxury in noisy sicily.

I've read people complaining about the staff but we had no issue whatsoever. Also other people complained about ghe breakfast; just have breakfast somewhere else, you are in Sicily, probably one of the grwatest places to eat on earth.

Great location for both rest at the hotel and exploring Palermo. Our room was spacious and clean. On arrival, the reception team were welcoming, friendly and our room was ready early for us. The swimming pool was lovely, plenty of sunbeds and natural shade from trees. A good selection for breakfast, peaceful garden area to eat outside the dining room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

It would be nice if the hotel could expand the lunch menu for eating at the pool. Not a huge problem as there is a sandwich cafe 2 minutes walk.

Well located hotel with excellent facilities, lovely pool and surround, great room with balcony and views to the sea. All floors had lift (but only 1 was working). Hotel had own guarded car park for 20Euro per day, but parking in front of hotel was free and seemed safe enough. Superb Buffet Breakfasts with plenty of choice both hot and cold. Good location for sightseeing in old town close to the free tourist bus that departs from Porte Felice and stops (along the promenade West from hotel) next to Via Alloro.

Pre-visit communications using B.com email service were non existent - no responses from hotel from 3 sent emails. Tourist info (e.g. free tourist bus service - as above) not forthcoming. Reception staff could be a lot more forthcoming with advice, tips and information. Management could have a free pre-prepared tourist pack available for tourists on arrival as happens at all the other hotels we stayed in in Sicily. VFM on the pricey side.

I got upgraded to a superior room for my special occasion, with views overlooking the coast from the balcony. Generous check-out time, which staff kindly extended to 1pm and offered to use pool facilities made it easy to wait for a late flight. The bed had amazing quality mattress and very comfortable bedding. Loved Green Tea toiletries - nice touch. Location is excellent- short walk from Centrale, next to Botanical Gardens and water front restaurants, located in same quarters as Via Alessandro Paternostro, that has probably the best upcoming bar/social scene.

The pool restaurant menu was limited and food quality was sub-par - I tried the burger and the meat was cooked from frozen, the buns were too big and dry, not enough vegetables. I had a Virgin Pina Colada and it cost the same as if it was with alcohol, so basically a bit of juice on ice for 12€! Nice to have coffee machine in the room, but there were no milk/ soya bottles for visitors who don’t like black coffee. Please replace plastic bottles to glass in the mini bar, plastic holders for toiletries, plastic bin liners, all the companies are going eco - no excuses to keep using single use plastic.

It's simply a very nice and comfy hotel. Nice views from the balcony. Nice clean bathroom. No bad surprises, everything pretty much working as expected. There's a nice swimming pool too, but we were there in January and it was too cold for swimming.

Location. It's walkable to the city center, but it's a good 15 minutes of extra walk thru a not particularly beautiful area. Busses are totally unreliable, the timetable doesn't exist. So keep a budget for taxis or electric scooters - actually, we used the scooters a lot to get to/from the hotel, and that was a great and flexible way to tackle the distance.

Fantastic location, easy access to everything, staff were incredibly nice and helpful with everything. The cleaners are fantastic, I can't praise this hotel enough, it's obvious they look after their people, I believe that's why they go the extra mile to give guests a fantastic experience, not to mention there was a complimentary bottle of champagne as it was my birthday, thank you nh palermo hotels for being amazing, I highly recommend 😀
