I loved the common areas - very elegant and lots of character. Beds are very comfortable and whole place is simply lovely! Plunge pool on the terrace upstairs is a nice touch.

Breakfast options could be improved but I understand this is more of a small B&B setting. In the room itself I missed saucers for cups, also bathrobes (or at least slippers) would be a nice touch. Room was pretty big but there was no real workdesk. There was a table, however minibar was placed underneath. Our room 5 was facing the street and outdoor restaurant which was pretty loud till late hours. These are small details though which definitely didn’t spoil our positive experience.

Booking.com charged us for two rooms when we only booked one room. It was not the hotels fault so I can’t expect them to refund us. Booking.com have not replied to my complaint. I can’t use this platform again until I know the fair is fixed.

The staff were amazing and accomodating. We felt like at home. A special thank you to Rita for going above and beyond. Also the other lady at breakfast and the man who works there. He seemed to be working all the time, helping with breakfast, reception, as a handyman,... Everything! Amazing people honestly. The hotel is beautiful, very boutique, a lovely place if you want to stay in authentic Palermo surroundings. The decor is very stylish and our room had all amenities. It was big enough for our baby to roam around. They provided a cot but the big was big enough for our baby to sleep a siesta with us! Comfy too. The breakfast is varied and fresh, and they had a baby chair always ready for us. The location is very centric, a reasonable walking distance from most places. In summary, this place was so good that if we return to Palermo, I wouldn't be staying anywhere else but this hotel.

This is a lovely old building and unfortunately our toilet had a very strong smell of humidity, so potent it overwhelmed when closing the door. Also it had a weird window mid wall which couldn't be covered. It was small enough to pass unnoticed but, we could see the street and that only means they could also see you when doing your business.

the decor is beautiful, the rooms and all shared areas were beautifully clean breakfast was delicious and was slightly different each day which was great bed was very comfortable

Sadly there are some serious building works going on in the whole property next to the hotel. The pool and rooftop were overlooked by builders and cranes all day while we were up there, and the noise of drilling and banging was constant. We were also woken up at 8am each morning to the sound of drilling and banging - luckily we needed to be up at that time but if you’re looking for a relaxing stay this place might not be it until the building works have finished!

The manager, Eric, was a fabulous host! He should move up the ladder with your company. He knew what we needed before we knew it ourselves. Intelligent, courteous, knowledgeable, patient and kind. The hotel is beautiful, and the interior design exquisite. But Eric and his assistant who put out a beautiful meal each morning really made our stay special. As a filmmaker I have traveled the world...but the hospitality in Palermo was above and beyond.

It’s well located and parking is easy. The breakfast lady was very nice and breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. The inside common areas are very nice and comfy.

it’s not really an hotel - there is no reception nor staff (you have a very responsive WhatsApp number but it’s not the same). you either have the choice between rooms that are on the boulevard side (which is very loud) or the backyard side (quiet but super dark). the nice terrace that you see on the pictures is on the boulevard side, so it’s not really a quiet place to relax and chill…but there is indeed a small pool and chairs.

The superb hotel is in an ideal location to explore the city on foot. Honestly couldn't fault it at all, beautifully decorated and appointed rooms - full of character and charm. The roof terrace offers great views of both the city and the sea. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in all aspects. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Very beautiful hotel, styled as a Sicilian villa. The room is super cozy, big and has all the amenities. The staff was helpful, it's possible to leave the luggage before checkin or after checkout.

One thing to notice is there's quite a busy cafe nearby, in some rooms it might be difficult to fall asleep before 12-1 am. There's no dedicated parking, only public parking along the road, that can be busy, just keep this in mind.

Firstly all the positive comments and reviews are RIGHT!! This place is a hidden gem, and you can’t go wrong staying here, it is absolutely stunning, the rooms are incredible and the staff are so beyond lovely (they speak good English too). The breakfast in the courtyard is to die for, this place absolutely made our trip!

I think a better description/picture of the door would help massively as we couldn’t find it for a while when we arrived (about 11pm) - it’s in between the two street restaurants for future reference. Our room was facing the traffic so we found it a little loud at first but by the second night it was white noise!

the decor in the hotel was beautiful, our room was very large and overall felt the property was well-cared for. it was very nice to have the hotel above a cafe for a quick coffee, etc.

i didn't realize this was a "staff-less" hotel. it was a bit weird not having someone at a front desk to ask with questions, etc. we weren't sure how breakfast worked and found it very slow as well. while the person on the other end was super responsive, it was just a little out of the ordinary.
