Loved the location. Right in the centre of pienza, just outside the walls so super short walk into the old part of town. We have 2 small kids and there was a nice little park 100m walk away. The staff at the hotel were super nice, accommodating and helpful. The hotel room was very clean and nice. Only suggestion would be to have a kettle in the room with coffee and tea. They didn't have this.

The a/c wasnt very good and was a bit noisy. Only worked at night and not in the day so when our kids had their day nap it was a bit warm. Tried having the windows open but then you had dogs barking and noise from the road. Would also have liked a kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

Best place to stay at in Pienza and all around! The hotel is beautiful! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is the best I’ve seen. I always hate breakfasts in hotels and this one was really good! The rooms were spacious and very clean. And we found free parking around the corner on the left side of the hotel (if you are looking right at the hotel).

The hotel was excellent! Nothing to do with the hotel but we did get a fine because of the parking. Just so people are aware, be sure to read VERY WELL the signs. The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month you can’t park we’re there is free parking around the corner of the hotel because there is a cleaning going on. We didn’t know. We got fined 30€. Just be careful and pay attention.

The hotel staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Very close to the charming old city. Very close to the supermarket. Maybe 100 meters distant. We really loved the hotel and Pienza! Nicola, his mother and restaurant staff were so helpful and even tolerated my attempts to speak Italian!

My wife and I stayed for four nights and used the hotel as a centerpoint for visiting surrounding Tuscany towns. We had absolutely no complaints!

Our family of four stayed at Hotel San Gregorio for one night during the Easter holidays of 2023. It was a memorable stay and certainly we will be returning to Hotel San Gregorio. Breakfast was genuinely outstanding. Buffet provided a large variety of both sweet and savory options. My wife was also genuinely impressed by the gluten free options. All in all, excellent all around. Location was also excellent, just a few yards from Pienza's historical centre and scenic pedestrian route. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay during our time in Pienza.

This hotel was fantastic. You just have to cross the street and you are in the town of Pienza. There was underground parking for a charge too you just have to get the card from reception first for access. There was also a lovely pool at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was some of the best food we've eaten in Italy. Breakfast was also delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel and nice staff. Unfortunately, we spent less than 24 hours here because we had to catch a flight so missed out on what looked to be an amazing breakfast.

Not having a shower head in the bathroom. There was a tub with a hand held "shower" head. I am thinking that some of the rooms may come equipped with regular showers so we will check this if we return.

The location is very good, the staff are helpful, the villa is taken care of very well There is a private parking lot and that was very important to me, it was safe enough to leave luggage in the car .

There is cofee machine , no free coffee or water ,no way to make even a cup of tee.

Location was good to see Pienza (out of ZTL) / safe parking lot / Good breakfast / Friendly staff / Nice facilities / Clean room

There is no shower curtain, so you have to be careful not to splash water in the bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and clean and staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!!

Only one small complaint... There is no shower curtain and the water goes all over the bathroom floor. It is messy and somewhat dangerous and slippery.

location was close to the walled city, but without having to drive into it. parking provided in a lot. spacious room, comfortable bed, solid breakfast.

minor detail but the living/ sitting area had so much space but sparse furniture to sit comfortably.
