Quirky, historic and atmospheric suite in the old building.

Bathroom a little tired, but not a deal breaker, the staff and overall atmosphere shone through.

This was a spontaneous booking for our wedding anniversary. We were staying at another hotel that was very nosey and wanted a quieter location. Hotel Signorini is a beautiful charming and historical Italian hotel. I originally booked a standard room, but was delighted to be able to upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was magnificent, extremely large with high ceilings and three massive shuttered windows, really made our anniversary memorable. The dinner was wonderful with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The pool area was small but intimate with a nice pool bar area serving food quality lunch food and drinks. The hotel has vast amounts of historical Italian charm. They were having a live show and dinner event so there was a huge stage being set up during our stay, but it did not spoil our experience.

Nothing would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful. Lovely rooms maintaining the historic appearance but with modern comfort. The restaurant was wonderful. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

The location is very centrally located and convenient but there’s really nothing else around there. This is why we ate in their hotel both nights, thankfully it was very good and reasonably priced. Walking distance from the train for us, but some may find it too far. Walking distance to Herculeum and the bus for Mt Vesuvius. Neither of those have much around them either. Quick train ride to Pompeii where there’s more going on. Disappointed that the pool had not been cleaned yet for spring.

The hotel is located in XVIII century house with a charming park, lemon trees, palms, fountain. Rooms are big with tall painted ceiling and old style doors with electronic keys :). The train station is in 10 min walk, then you can get to centre of Napoli or Pompei in 20 min. The ruins of Ercolano are also 10 min walk (exceeded our expectations). Furthermore, there are plenty of small excellent restaurants nearby. Also, on request, you can get a private taxi driver to get you anywhere you need (airport or Vesuvio) for 45-50 eur.

To enter the hotel territory you need to wait for someone from inside will open the gates, a noisy room on the first floor with windows to the busy street that cars and motorbikes are driving through the night. Breakfast was not as good as in the description, but taste and quantity were fine. Moreover, in most of the hotels in Italy, there is no breakfast at all, so this was normal.

Everything: hotel, room, staff, food, hotel grounds. All was exceptional. The designated hotel taxi was wonderfully accommodating, driving a clean comfortable vehicle.

Location was like a diamond on a dung heap. The area where the hotel was located was dirty and run down. There were dog feces all over the dirty, rubbish strewn pavements. The road outside the hotel had huge kerbs which could only be avoided by taking your life in your hands and walking in the road. Any local restaurants were just fast-food outlets.

This was our first stay while in Italy. We were there for two nights and had a very nice time while there. The room and other areas were gorgeous and the grounds well kept and very pleasant. They have a very nice restaurant with an outdoor patio, which was wonderful. The surrounding town of Ercolano is not that pretty, so this was a welcome oasis. It is very close to the ruins of Herculaneum, which we visited on our first day. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The shower was very small (although typical for Italy) and the bathroom curtains were dingy and falling off the rods in some places. Clean, crisp curtains or shades would really add to the room.

+ very friendly and helpful staff at the reception! + beautiful garden, especially in evenings; + private parking (very important if you have rented a car; we were allowed to leave the car there for sometime after check out which was very convenient); + decent breakfast; + cleanliness; + room looked exactly as presented on photos (we took the one at the top of the building - I've seen people complaining about it and I can't understand it as you can easily see on pictures attached to the offer that some of the rooms may have for example one small window only). + good location, close to the Herculaneum museum and train station.

the walls between the rooms are very thin - one morning our "neighbour" woke us up using the bathroom and shaving (we could hear the sound of hitting the sink with a razor).

The hotel is quite nice much bigger than we thought. We were 1st offered a room with no window in the roof space! We requested to move. We were given a nicer room in the garden with small terrace. Breakfast was quite extensive, self service, sitting on terrace. Pool area was nice with bar. Beds and shade. Location is a bit scruffy. Street is difficult to walk along as traffic, high pavement, rubbish and dog mess! Some good places to eat about 15 min walk away.

Location as above

Everything is perfect. Beautiful, nice atmosphere, calm area, very comfortable, nice restaurant, clean and everyday cleaning, good pool, nice breakfast, and very accessible staff. You can walk to Reggia di Porticci and have a look at the beautiful Palace and botanical garden or just walk to the ruins. It's also close to 2 train stations that give you access to Napoli, Salerno, Pompei, and Sorrento. They offered you at the hotel a trip to Capri, but I considered it overpriced.

I think the pool time should close at 20:00 instead of 19h, it was always so hot and if you spend the day outside and just want to have a quick swim, its very scheduled. I wish the breakfast had fruits.

Spacious comfortable rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Amazing house and garden. Great breakfast. Staff is great, do your best to try some italian words. They will appreciate that. All smiles. Walking distance from lovely harbour and the sea, and of course the Herculaneum excavation area. Ultimitate best coffee can be found the other way from the hotel at Bar centrale a portici, piazza s ciro 36.

Not that simple. You must understand that all the cheaper rooms are at the second floor which is the attic. They have no windows. But dont let that scare you, they are very comfortable. The corridor has a large sitting area on that floor with windows and 2 roof terraces with view of the sea and Vesuvius. Of course lower level rooms are more expensive and have the big windows and views.
