Hotel is in good location, 15-20 minutes to city centre. Plenty of buses going to city centre, 5 minutes walk away, very pleased with location. Breakfast, simple, but it's there all the time, doesn't matter what time you come, 7am - 10am. All Coffee's were strong though 😁 the hotel itself is a bit dated, but everything is there and very clean. I would definitely come back and recommend this place a friend who is on a slight budget!

The roof lounge/ cocktail bar with the view highly advertised... Well, there is a roof top you can access, but there is not much to do. We came around 11pm and the roof was pitch black, no lights of what so ever. We were using our phone to get to the chairs with a table. No bar at the roof, luckily we managed to get drinks from a bar on the ground floor. The view was okay, but not as advertised though. We haven't used the pool, but it's much much smaller than on most pictures, so be aware. Other than that, perfect hotel with great staff and great location

Cardinal Hotel St. Peter is located a 5 minute walk to bus stop and then a 15 - 20 bus journey (916) to get into the heart of the city. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly those on reception. As we were travelling as a family we had two interconnecting rooms. This arrangement worked well. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning very efficient and the bathroom facilities provided everything required. There were lots of towels supplied and the beds were re-made each day. There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance should you need anything. Breakfast was varied - toast, scrambled eggs, cheese/cold meats, cereal, pastries, cake, yoghurt, fruit were all available together with fruit juices, coffee and tea. The pool area is great and was very welcome in the August heat. It isn’t the biggest pool but large enough for a decent swim/few lengths and for the kids to have fun in and to cool off. There were plenty of sun beds to use if you wanted to lay in the sun. Overall the hotel had a good balance for our 5 night trip.

Overall I had a Good experience. It’s a bit sad that I flew a month ago only to stay at this hotel and request the room I wanted for my big birthday celebration. I booked a total of 10 rooms so I expected the hotel to keep their promise and book me the room I have discussed in person with them 1 month prior to my stay. Despite pre agreeing on it, they booked me a tiny room. The reception was not understanding at all when I complained about it, but the Director was really nice and tried to help my situation. He is a really nice person.

The hotel was clean, and all staff were super lovely. It was nice having the pool due to the heatwave in Europe!! The view from our balcony was lovely (could see the Vatican). Nice showers and comfy bed. Breakfast was nice.

The location wasn't ideal, it cost quite a lot in taxis to get into the city centre, and had to get buses to the main attractions in Rome. Bus stops were close by and buses were easy to navigate though. There are restaurants nearby to the hotel, but for us was a bit too far away. The safe in the room didn't work and the aircon was a bit rubbish, but we figured out on last day if you put the aircon higher, it's cooler.

Breakfast was good, I was happy with the location, the nearest bus to the centre was only a 2 minute walk.

The pool looked grubby, scum stain around the edge.

The room was super clean. Also, the booking had a breakfast included. Overall the hotel was great.

The location. There is no metro near by, so I had to either call Uber to get to the city center and back or use public transportation. However, public transportation required a ticket. I could not buy it neither inside a bus, neither online. Then somehow I figured out that tickets are sold at the cafe “Il Pappagallo”. From that time my life became way better.

The view from our room was lovely, the breakfast was really good, the pool was great, the location was great once you figure out how the Italian bus system works, if you're energetic it's quite a nice walk into the centre.

There was nothing I thought was terrible, the decor in the rooms and around the hotel was fine, but there were balconies for the poolside rooms (ours) which could have been really lovely, but there were containers with dead plants in.

The hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. a very good sleep. there is a piano in the lobby and they let me play it, very nice gesture :) Breakfast was good, a lovely variety of food and drinks.

the Aircon was Switched off throughout the hotel, i understand that the start of April isn't 'hot season' and energy prices are sky high, but as a northern cold region person, this was just way too hot in the room. Also pool was closed.

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast had a good selection including some hot food. Rooms were adequately sized and were clean. There's a pool, but we didn't have time to use it, so can't comment on that. Overall a pleasant stay.

The room we had, whilst clean and tidy, needed a refresh. The air con didn't work properly, so the room was cold when you arrived back. One curtain was missing (this was for decoration purposes though, so didn't affect us). The bath was badly marked and several sockets were loose. Lastly, the balcony view was a concrete wall! (see picture). None of this affected us, because we didn't use the room much; literally for sleeping after walking all day.

Free breakfast with variety of food. You can eat there or take it to go. Rooms were a lil small, no room to move around. I liked the pool area and staff was helpful.

Pool closed at 7pm, so couldn’t use after coming back from sight seeing. Rooms were a lil smaller than shown in pictures. The couches in lobby were dirty and smelled. Up stairs Terrace was nice, but you couldn’t bring food up there I was only for drinks.
