Host Pietro was friendly and communicative from the beginning (when I asked about the room's natural ventilation, he answered quickly). On the day of our arrival, he also waited longer than planned to hand over the keys and show us the accommodation. Judging from the outside, the Domus Vatican Holiday's doesn't look very promising: it is a business located inside what appears to be an impersonal commercial/residential building, and impossible to identify due to the absence of any sign outside. Once inside, however, things changed and our room, as simple as it was comfortable, made us feel at home. There were some Dolce Gusto-style coffee maker capsules that we used immediately and thought were just a welcome gift, but every morning the staff gave us new capsules! Cleanliness was also exceptional: without us asking, the hotel staff cleaned our room daily - a better routine than that of many official hotels. It's worth mentioning that the area where the Domus Vatican is located is really quiet. Even though it's not exactly touristy (which is also a good thing, if you want to avoid crowds), the area is within walking distance of the Vatican and the bohemian neighborhood of Trastevere. It's also very close to the Cipro Metro station, which allows you to get around easily. When I return to Rome, I will return to Domus Vatican for sure!

I don't remember anything that I didn't like. I spent four nights at the hotel and it was a really peaceful experience in the midst of a somewhat chaotic and very tiring trip.

I liked the cleanliness and the hospitality. The owner had provided the breakfast for the 1st day, although it was not included. He also had put a bottle of wine for us to celebrate the New Year's Eve.

The owner Pietro has an excellent attitude, his communication was always prompt and helpful and he made us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable, super clean and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. It was very helpful to have an access to a shared kitchen supplied with plates, cups, glasses and other utensils if you choose self-catering. The room also came with variety of coffee capsules and tea packets along with the appropriate equipment to use them. The entire space including common areas was always clean and well taken care off. The private bathroom attached to the room was great and modern with the best water pressure, and complimentary shampoo and shower gel were provided along with super clean towels. The owner always makes sure the rooms get tidied up every day and does so in a very respectful and efficient manner. The location was also great - lots of various supermarkets near-by, about 10 minutes walk to the Metro station, and about 20 minutes walk to the Vatican. We will be happy to choose this place again for our future visits to Rome.

We would prefer the fridge in our doom to be at lower temperature, but this is how new modern fridges seem to be designed these days.

The property is super close to different bus stops, small shops and of course, Vatican City. The host is also such a friendly and kind person - he was absolutely lovely! We had a little coffee machine in the room, for which he would give us new coffee capsules every day, he left us water bottles in the fridge. The room had everything it would need - the double bed, AC, TV, a big cupboard, 2 nightstands, a little table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was great. Our towels would be changed every few days as well.

The only thing that was not even bad, just not perfect, was that you can hear louder noises from other rooms - louder laughter, music, etc. But that is quite normal, given that the rooms are all situated next to each other in an apartment.

Great flat, comfortable with a convenient location near the centre of Rome, walking distance to the metro. Roberto is a wonderful manager and kind person. We flew in as a family of 4 and were in Rome for 3 days. There are several grocery shops nearby and lots of bars and restaurants. We were very comfortable staying a few days in this apartment with terrace, air conditioning, fridge, coffee machine worked perfectly. There is a kitchen and microwave oven, you can cook food.

Really nice and clean place in a great location. The balcony was a great addition, especially during the heatwave. The room had a mini fridge and coffee maker, so it was super convenient. There was also a kitchen free to use, so there is everything you need. The person who greeted us was also really nice. I will definitely consider this place again for my next Rome trip!

Clean room with private bathroom, comfy beds, fridge, electric kettle, coffee machine with capsules and tea, microwave in common area. We had everything we needed for comfortable stay for couple of days. The host is very nice and friendly, with good communication. 15-20 minutes walk from Vatican.

The room is located close to bus service which can take you to Metro stations. Super market, restaurants (Japanese) is closely located. A person was available for check in and was friendly. The room also has a small balcony although we could not use it much due to our tight schedule. Maps were offered which helped us to navigate in Rome. Vatican is very close and can be reached on foot or by Metro only 1 stop. Roma Termini is 20min by Metro from where you can visit all major sight seeing places.

Many hotels are located in Roma Termini and Termini is crowded. This hotel is near to Vatican and is away from hustle bustle of the city. I dont consider this as negative but for those young travellers who need to enjoy night life may consider other options.
