Excellent location- close to everything. Lots of nice neighborhood restaurants, etc. Breakfast was nice- charged 12 euro each. The bed was comfortable. Asked for 2 beds- didn't get this but didn't question this.

On check in- reception did a hard sell on a certain hop on hop off bus- wondered if they got a kick back. That was a total waste of money, We previously had used city buses and did well- they discouraged this. Also- the on line rate with booking.com etc. was 40% lower than what they said my booking rate was. They wouldn't consider matching it. Free internet- when I asked how to sign up- they took my iphone and did some "magic"- when I asked to see what they were doing- was not shown. In short, I was having trust issues with them! Building and rooms showed some wear and tear but was fine.

The location was fantastic for my purposes, and Giovanni at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Loved that slippers and a plate of fresh fruit were provided in my room! The fruit was a really nice, unexpected touch. Nice WC, with good counter space and great lighting at the mirror--just remember to bring a facecloth/washcloth if you like to use one, and aim the shower toward the wall if you don't want to flood the bathroom. Comfy bed. The room was compact, but big enough--there was enough space for me to get around the bed with my suitcase on the luggage rack against the wall, and that was all I needed. Nice and quiet at night, for sleeping--any noise inside or outside the hotel stopped before I went to bed and started after I was up in the morning. There were enough outlets for my device-charging needs. (I didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't comment on it.)

Not really a negative, but it wasn't obvious how to turn the lights on and off in the room, and there were also a number of switches and buttons that didn't do anything. (Unplugging/plugging in a lamp or two is no big deal, but some guidance on what the buttons and switches are for would be useful!)

Location was superb - about 250m from Colosseum. The hotel was super clean from top to bottom, staff first class, PC available downstaries We did not have breakfast there as my wife does not eat it. It was a buffet style at EUR17 each which was not bad at all.

Got almost nothing to say here. Everything very good. Could not fault the hotel on anything important. If anything, I think it might be slightly overpriced. My stay in June was fine and we want to return, but I checked prices for October and was surprised at the price!

This was an excellent hotel with a terrific location near the Colosseum (within walking distance). Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early so we could check in but our rooms weren't ready so they stored our luggage for us and then let us go upstairs for breakfast before our tour. Once we returned our rooms were available and they brought our luggage to us. We had dinner (excellent) upstairs in the rooftop restaurant overlooking the Colosseum (beautiful). There are many shops and other restaurants in the area as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I really have nothing bad to say. This was a nice place to stay.

The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and knowledgeable – truly incredible people. They exceeded every expectation we had and we felt cared for with every detail. Dinner on the rooftop was a wonderful experience for environment, staff and food. They held our bags before checkin and had them waiting in the room when we got there, along with a plate of fresh fruit and a bottle of Prosecco (how kind!). The room was meticulously clean.

There were no hooks for our wet bath towels or places within the shower to put our own products (very minor details).

The hotel was fantastic 👌 The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about eateries, etc. Unfortunately my purse was stolen and my card that I used to book the hotel was in it. That was no problem, and they were very helpful with details for the police station and when to go to the station. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, and the bathroom was equipped with everything needed. The cleanliness was next to none. Everything was spotless. I honestly was not expecting a lot for the price that we paid but I was blown away with everything. Also the bar and terrace is lovely to sit out on and the price of the beer is the same as a pub. The hotel is situated around the corner from the Collosium and a 10 minute walk from the metro.

The only issue we had and really it wasn't an issue, was there is no bar on the terrace. You have to go downstairs to get a drink and bring it back up.

The breakfast was good and the view of the Collessuem from the breakfast table was excellent. The selection of hot and cold food was good, the bread and pastries was very good selection.. The reception staff were always helpful and provided helpful information and recommended fab restaurants. The hotel was in a safe area and only 8mins walk from the Collesseum and the Metro. The room was fab and we loved the complementary prosecco and fruit on arrival. We will stay here again

The coffee at the breakfast could be better

We really liked the hotel and the location was perfect for visiting the Colosseum. The rooms were really spacious and the bathroom was lovely and big too. The staff were fantastic and the lady on the front desk was super helpful and friendly. She couldn't do enough to help with directions and recommendations for restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to visit again in the future

I would have liked more savoury food at the breakfast, more of a selection of cheeses etc. But other than that perfect!

The Hotel is extremely well situated being a ten minute walk to the Colosseo Metro. The immediate vicinity has numerous restaurants and taxi's are available at the bottom of the road. Our check in was effortless with the reception staff very obliging offering a warm welcome speaking in fluent English. Our room was situated at the front of the Hotel which was surprisingly quiet. The quality of the breakfast was exceedingly high and staff most attentive. The outside terrace gave a spectacular view over the city. The room was serviced every day reflecting a high standard of cleanliness.

Very little, the shower operating mechanism was rather outdated but quite serviceable.

Lovely room, although being next to the restaurant on the top floor it was a bit noisy. The location is excellent, a couple of blocks from the Colosseum and near lots of restaurants and bars

The electrics need some work! Only one workable socket to charge phones etc and the light switches were decidedly odd
