Nice location for our tour of the coliseum

The Airport pick up service at the front desk charges you $60 cash they tell you it's a pre negotiated rate. While waiting for our driver a guy offered us a price for 20 less than the hotels negotiated rate.....seems like a scam the front desk has worked out. Also they tell you that you can only pay the driver in cash. We payed him more than our ride In with a taxi it was only $50

Excellent location- close to everything. Lots of nice neighborhood restaurants,etc. Breakfast was nice- charged 12 euro each. The bed was comfortable. Asked for 2 beds- didn't get this but didn't question this.

On check in- reception did a hard sell on a certain hop on hop off bus- wondered if they got a kick back. That was a total waste of money, We previously had used city buses and did well- they discouraged this. Also- the on line rate with booking.com etc. was 40% lower than what they said my booking rate was. They wouldn't consider matching it. Free internet- when I asked how to sign up- they took my iphone and did some "magic"- when I asked to see what they were doing- was not shown. In short, I was having trust issues with them! Building and rooms showed some wear and tear but was fine.

Big enough room (308), comfortable bed, decent shower. Maid service daily for bed and shower laundry. Decent location - 7 minutes to Coloseum. Several shops and restaurants in the area. Breakfast quite good. Plenty of cold selections, cereals, fruit, yogurts, pastries, with some hot food e.g. scrambled egg, European style sausage and bacon, pancakes, etc. from buffet. We liked staff bringing coffee to your table when you walk in. Breakfast from 7-11 and never any bother getting seated. One part of the restaurant area gives a view of the Collosseum at breakfast. We ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings and the food was great, as was the service provided. I did not get his name but the restaurant supervisor was very good, particularly with our choice of wines and food recommendations. This was our second stay in 5 years. If you have the option, pay the extra and choose room 416 (we stayed there last time) - it has its own private terrace and view of the Colosseum. It was already booked for this trip - I would choose it if it was available in the future. The Forum is 10 minutes walk away. Vatican and St Angelo's Castle was 35 minutes - we got a taxi to them then walked back. The Pantheon is well worth a visit- pretty spectacular. If you are visiting the Colosseum, Forum or Vatican make sure you bring photographic ID as they are quite strict at the entrance points.

Nothing particularly negative to write tbh other than room 308 is below the 4th floor restaurant area and I could hear the staff beginning work with their trolleys from 6:15 am each morning but I am an early riser so it wasn't a major issue for me.

The room and bathroom had so much space and comfort. The towels were big and soft. The bed was very comfortable and didnt have that concave shape that some hitel beds have. There was a large bottle of complimentary water and some complementary slippers. The staff were very kind, nice, and truly wanted to help and engage with guests. The location was wonderful because it was only a 10min walk from Colosseo metro station and right by the hotel there were many cafes, trattorias, enotecas. I also love the bathroom and room had windows that i could open to get fresh air. I also loved the old time feel of the hotel because it natched the area. I wish they weren't going to modernize the entire hotel.

The shower/tub in the bathroom was backing up immediately, and they weren't able to fix it.

Ended up there after booking a dirty place around the corner and was lucky to get a last minute price. The rooms are spectacularly comfortable if a trifle dated. High ceilings excellent beds. A really nice fitness room so you can exercise out of the heat. The breakfast was solid and the staff are just lovely. Everyone from the cleaners to the bartenders are so professional and warm.

Stairs up to the reception challenging if there isn’t a bellman (there wasn’t when we left) and you must call a taxi or Uber as it is on a side street.

The location was so handy to the Colosseum and pretty close to the metro so travelling to and from the airport was simple. The staff were so lovely and friendly and a big shout out to the bar man in the lobby bar, who was so friendly and chatty when we were there. Breakfast was a good range and being served on the roof terrace was a nice touch! We had a lovely room and it was super quiet at night! Fab powerful shower and fluffy towels were an added bonus! I can see why people come back again on repeat trips and I would hope I can do the same in the future! A nice touch was their recommendation for restaurants and willingness to call and make reservations for any guests.

There wasn’t anything that was wrong with our stay.

This is a great hotel in Rome, I recommend it. Location is great, very near the coliseum. There where 35 degrees at Rome, and the air conditioning of the room was powerful, a great relief when you came back from the street. The room was very clean. I’m very grateful with Maximiliano, one of the reception staff. I hade a health problem and he help me to solve with the best possible.

Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was very good and the terrace was perfect. The room was quite big and the bed was very comfy. The little offers with the fruit, food, and offered beverage in the bar was also nice! Location was perfect and the hotel was very clean and tidy. I had to request for a taxi and for a breakfast outside of the normal hours and was pretty fast, effective and stuffed :)

The only thing I didn't like was the price. Too expensive for Rome but this is not the hotel's fault... All Rome was very costy on accomodation and taxis.

Comfortable, quiet room, large bed, minibar, tea making facilities. Breakfast was ample and staff in breakfast room were friendly, efficient and charming Arrived late first night to lovely reception from Massimiliano who was exemplary in his courtesy and kindness.

Front desk staff were generally very reserved and rather unfriendly. I went down the first morning, on Saturday, to say I had a problem connecting to the wifi. The young lady didn't even look up from what she was doing to address my query. I was able to resolve the problem but found that attitude most unpleasant.

We enjoyed our stay! Very good hotel in the Great City of Rome! Very well located, the hotel is kept clean and offers good service. Very efficient service at the reception desk. Sorry for not being able to quote the names of the lady and the gentleman who met us on our arrival on the 8th of October. My fault and I apologize! They were very helpful and professional. The restaurant offers good cuisine and excellent wines Hopefully will visit you again!
