Mostly excellent: walking distance of main Rome attractions; good view of Colosseum ; clean and luxurious; we needed to stay a further night due to a flight cancellation, and the staff were so helpful to try to find us a room when fully booked: it was a single for two of us, but the rooms are pretty spacious so no problem; the rooftop restaurant has a limited but reasonable menu and not at all expensive.

The 8 storey building means you have to use the lift, but it was often busy with other clients. The buttons and lights don't tell you clearly whether the lift is arriving soon. The opening hours of the pool 10am to 7pm are not much good for people staying only one night

Roof top bar was excellent with great views, and location was fine. Front desk service was superb, taxis and tours arranged in minutes.

The lighting in the room was very poor and we had to try to prop open the bathroom door for extra illumination. Breakfast was very repetitive with what tasted like powdered eggs and I believe both sausage and bacon were smoked. Not to my taste.

The high point is definitely the lovely rooftop pool and bar. The pool was amazing as Rome was in the middle of a full on heatwave whilst we we’re there. The rooftop bar is great and a good spot for taking photos as the views included the colosseum and surrounds. The cocktails were great and bar staff very friendly and attentive . The hotel location is great with an abundance of cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and a great coffee shop next door with good coffee and great pastries. The staff were very attentive and helpful and provided good service at front desk including an efficient check In service

The coffee machine at the breakfast buffet didn’t make very good coffee. The hotel needs to have Nespresso machines in the rooms to provide a good experience for coffee people. We also thought the breakfast buffet, although a nice inclusion, didn’t have very tasty food eg. the pastries and croissants looked nice but tasted average. The hot dishes also weren’t particularly tasty but if you want a quick cereal and fruit salad in the run in the morning it’s okay. We also found our door access card for our room didn’t work easily and this made quick access to the room rather tedious.

Great location, pool roof amazing specially in summer, carrefour express 24h 10min walk.

Room was dirty, very dirty carpet. Floor and duvet had stains. Even the housekeeper was shocked. Besides that helpful and friendly staff. But I had to walk with flipflips in the room.

The location is the best part about this hotel, it is incredibly close to the Colosseum. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool however I did think it was quite small and very busy when we were there. The view from the rooftop pool made up for this though. We really appreciated the free water that was refilled during our stay in our mini fridge.

The room is very small but we didn't have a lot of luggage so it worked for a couple of nights. There were people who would spend all day at the rooftop pool on the loungers so we were never able to use one during our stay.

It was a nice hotel, pretty basic though. The rooms were a bit small, windows were small, but the wrap around was nice, the view of the coliseum was good, considering the location there were other hotels not on booking.com which would have been better if you wanted a better view, but it was OK still. It's a great location for getting in to the city centre and seeing the shops and restaurants. A lot of things you would need was close walking proximity. The place was clean and immaculate every day. Staff were friendly

The shower flooded which wasn't great. The door to the bathroom was a swinging one which means if you wanted to air it out after a shower so you could do your hair and make up you couldn't do that. And had to wait. Or get ready elsewhere. It could have done with more mirrors and better lighting in the bedroom, around the desk even, just for ease. On the grander scheme of things, not a huge deal I still got in without these little things.

Fantastic location. Step outside and to your right you can see the astonishing Colusseum! Friendly and very helpful staff who helped us plan our daily excursions. Breakfast selection was great. I would stay here again.

Room had no cool air con so in the night we found the room a bit stuffy. We were able to open the window which helped as we were on the 6th floor. Could be an issue for the summer months.

I chose this hotel for the location as well as for the view of the colosseum. Originally I did not have a good room, but then I was changed to a better room, so I was happy they were able to do so otherwise the room I had I did not like at all, too cramped and no view. The rooftop was beautiful, the food was very good at both the rooftop bar as well as the breakfast downstairs. I wish breakfast was on the roof as well. The staff was very nice. I never had time for the pool but it looked very nice. The shower floor seemed a little slippery and the bathroom door does not stay open, like after a shower to air it out, we propped it open ourselves. Overall it was a very nice hotel, I would only recommend to be very clear about the exact room you want when making a reservation.

The shower floor seemed a little slippery and the bathroom door does not stay open, like after a shower to air it out, we propped it open ourselves. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were just okay. I love pastries but I was missing eggs too.

Location was excellent. Pool was okay. Room was great but small. The bar/patio upstairs was wonderful and the view was terrific. You have an award winning view of the Colosseum from the roof. The cafes across the streets were wonderful. The breakfast was okay. Coffee okay. Staff very nice helpful and friendly.

The room is small. And you can not really open any windows. Besides that it was terrific.
