Paid for an upgrade because the first room they gave us was very poor, facing street with a window you could barely reach and a leaking aircon system. Second room (executive?) was very nice and large looking out over garden bar area. Excellent location near metro, attractions, restaurants and Termini station. Staff were helpful but looked stressed.

We stayed here in 2019 and the breakfast then was sensational and was a big reason why we returned I don't know if its because of Covid or poor management but it isn't like that now. Poor quality food, stale cakes and bread, Lack of variety, boring cheese selection, same hot food every day. No bread on several occasions and when there was it was very dry. What's happened?? Lack of tourist information in the lobby. Bar music very annoying. There's also building construction at the moment next door that began at 6.30 on a sunday morning! At least this will finish eventually. Bed kept separating into 2 beds!

great location 10 min walk to Colosseum and metro directly opposite . Room was immaculate the cleaning staff are absolutely excellent and the reception staff and servers are also very good. Breakfast very good buffet lots of choice and we are vegetarians. It was very busy and sometimes a little frantic! Its our 3rd time here , staying for 4 nights instead of the usual 2- its a very good, comfortable and clean hotel and location is ideal. courtyard for drinks and relaxing- lovely

We had rooms overlooking the courtyard - some nights the music was playing loud until late- wasnt too bad , but if it would bother you get a room at the front . There was building work going on adjacent they started early! but we were up early anyway

Beautiful boutique hotel in good location. Clean and comfortable, aircon worked very well which was appreciated in Rome’s 40 degree C summer! Large king sized bed with crisp bed linen and a perfectly clean bathroom. We did not opt for the buffet breakfast, as at €30 per person it is wasted on us as we are light eaters in the morning. We saw the breakfast room on checkout and it looked excellent though, so maybe treat yourself if you feel inclined. Hotel is an easy 20 min walk from Termini station and The Colosseum. Get the shuttle bus from Rome Fiucimino airport (€8pp in 2023) then easy downhill walk to hotel from Termini. When leaving it’s best to get the train from Manzoni station (across the road from the hotel) to Roma Termini as the walk is uphill, however allow 30 mins extra to buy your train ticket as the machines don’t work well and there is no one to help at Manzoni station. Couple of minimarkets, bars and restaurants within a block or two of the hotel that open late. Our first trip to Rome and we loved it! This lovely clean and comfortable hotel helped us to enjoy our experience. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. PS Roma Termini has some excellent food and it opens until midnight. Try the wood fired pizza close to the bathrooms - the BEST

Everything was great

Location fantastic, next to a metro (can get to hotel from Termini within 3 stops) but a reasonable walk to the colosseum. Room and shower very good. Very quiet, we slept well. Breakfast was plentiful and good choice.

The voucher system! The supposed free first drink and food is actually only €2, very confusing. Either free or €2 discount. Also think the bar was expensive, a shame as we learnt from the first evening and we would happily have had a drink to start the evening. There is no water available to fill water bottles. No free bottles of water in room although had fridge! Notices at breakfast that not allowed to fill water bottles! It was 33’ outside! Had to fill from tap and that wasn’t the most pleasant taste 🤮

The staff were very friendly, very accommodating, tried to make things special as it was my partner's birthday, and were just generally great. Besides that, the breakfast was really good, the rooms were nice, and the hotel was pleasant. Its not the best place in the world, but for what you pay its all very good, and well worth it.

The location. We didn't really realise how far it was from everything we were doing. It looks and seems much closed according to google maps, if I were to go to Rome again though, I would stay somewhere more central for that reason alone. The saving grace, is the cities transport is very good and easy and right outside the hotel.

A clean hotel with a functional, business style feel to it. The reception staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are adequate with the best feature being the good quality mattresses and pillows - one memory foam and one feather style pillow per person. The breakfast buffet had a good selection laid out around the specious dining room.

The location would have been OK if the metro was working, but on the weekend we stayed at this hotel the metro station outside the hotel door was closed for renovations. The staff did though go out of their way to show us on a map how to get to all the main attractions in Rome, including the Colosseum which is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is equivalent to a British 3 star hotel.

Friendly staff and very close to the Colosseum and Forum Romanum. Also, there is a Bus stop and a Metro Station right next to the Hotel. The room was tidy and, also there is a main street in front of the hotel, very quiet and I guess nicely insulated. From the Metro, you can ride all over the city and it's attractions. In just 5 minutes walk, you have plenty of restaurants and a park for a stroll.

I was trying to book a parking space in advance, to make sure I got one. Being in the heart of Rom without a place to park your car is no my cup of tea. Unfortunately all I got in response, even at the day of my arrival: we'll see if we've got one, once you're at our reception desk. Some may say "be brave, go for it", but for me it's a risk an leads to disappointment, if I would arrive and there wouldn't be a spot reserved for my car.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Milton Roma. The location was perfect, right across the road from the Manzoni train station. You can hop on the train here and get around to all of the tourist sites with ease. It also goes to Roma Termini station for connection to the airport. There is also a big bus stop just outside which will also take you to the sites if you prefer bus travel. The staff in the hotel were great; very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were immaculately clean. The facilities were well kept and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, which was appreciated in the middle of summer. There was a good selection of food available for breakfast and plenty of space to sit. There is also a nice courtyard area to sit outside for a drink or just relaxing, I would certainly stay here again and have already recommended to friends. The hotel represents exceptional value for money. Tips: there is a fantastic Italian restaurant just a short stroll from the hotel called Marco G Trattoria - we loved it and went a few times for dinner! Be really careful of pick-pockets - they stole our purses while on the train. This is a huge problem in Rome so beware!!

Staff should not stand at the front entrance of the hotel smoking.

We checked in quite late and was assisted by Mr. Dominic (if I remember correctly). He helped us with our bags to our room to reveal that they have upgraded us to the biggest suite in the hotel with an attic, jacuzzi and a little swing! The breakfast was also phenomenal with lots of choices (also for vegetarian). Hotel was near to metro station "Manzoni". Great for families. They also helped calling for a taxi for us on our check-out day. Staffs were very friendly. I recommend this hotel and I'd like to come again sometime. Thank you to the management of Hotel Milton Roma for our room upgrade. We appreciate it very much.

If you have big heavy bags, it will be quite difficult to carry your bags up the stairs of the Metro. The area is pretty quiet at night but there's a tabacchi nearby. Also we got pickpocketed on the metro at the Colosseum so be careful.

Hotel room was perfect no complaints whatsoever, big bathroom, large tv and only a short walk away from historical Roman Rome (Coliseum was like 10/15 mins walk). Breakfast had plenty selection but a little disappointed at the quality of the hot options (Sausage Bacon Eggs) compared to the continental cold meats n cheeses but all in all still very tasty also a selection of pastries yogurts n fruit juices and coffee!. for food the couple of streets before the coliseum adjacent to the big top bus tours stand were the best value in the city.

N/A but my only recommendation for breakfast room would be to install a cold tray for juice glasses and juice jugs to sit on to keep cold. (as it was in the window glasses were warm and juice wasnt at its coldest in the sunlight. possibly move it out of the window area?).
