The room was beautiful. Although we hadn’t requested one, we were give a room with a lovely little private balcony, large enough for a table and two chairs with room to spare. The room itself was comfortable, clean and stylish. We slept extremely well there. The staff were delightful from the start. We received perfect instructions on how to get to the hotel from the airport along with other helpful information in advance of arriving. Mauro, Gabriel, and Karin were all so polite and lovely to chat to. They had lots of good recommendations for restaurants and helped us figure out the bus we needed to get to reach the Appian Way and Catacombs. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It is a 15 minute walk to the place where all the tours of the Colosseum start. It was 30 minutes to the Trastevere neighbourhood, the Jewish ghetto and the Pantheon. It was slightly longer to the Vatican, 50 minutes, but it is possible to take the metro to that if you prefer (circus maximus (B line) - termini, change to A line - ottavia). The San Saba neighbourhood where the hotel is located is pretty and there are lots of lovely restaurants. The last thing I wanted to comment on is the breakfast. It is a 20 second walk from the front door of the hotel in a beautiful bakery called Casa Manfredi. The pastries and coffee were amazing - a real Italian experience. I’ve seen a few reviews saying how inconvenient this arrangement was but please don’t listen to that. It was really convenient and introduced you to Casa Manfredi which was also a lovely spot to sit and have a drink in the evening.

The hotel bar should stock birra anacoolica and other alcohol free options. It would have been helpful to have addition shelving in the room or bathroom for our things, but it wasn’t a huge problem. The control pad for the TV, room temperature and lights took a long time to load.

I stayed at the hotel with my twin sister and we are looking forward to do it again as the hotel was all in all perfect! The staff and the people who work there are so kind, polite and always willing to help you! Furthermore, the location is great, everything you can reach in 5 mins! The rooms are beautiful, clean and in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel and would recommended everyone to visit it!🥰 Grazie Mille @HotelTheCornerRoma and kind regards, Ioanna & Vicky🌸

I love that the hotel is brand new renovated. Everything is super new. The decoration is beautiful, a contrast with modernism, technology and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable, counts with a jacuzzi and a small balcony. There is nespresso as courtesy. There are public transportation close by, restaurants, bars and a grocery across the street. The air conditioner works very well.

The only thing I disliked was the breakfast. It is not served in the hotel restaurant but in a shop next to the hotel. Even though it is just next to it, you lost time going there, ordering and having your breakfast delivered. So it is impossible to have a quick breakfast we spend at least 1 hour to finish it. The people in the coffee are friendly though. There is also a few options in the menu, the window to eat is also short from 8 to 10am. It was relevant enough for me not to recomend this hotel, but if you don't mind or pick "breakfastless" room it would be a great experience.

The hotel is very charming. The hotel’s employees were extremely nice and caring.

The room was very nice and well decorated, but we found it a bit dark (maybe the awnings should be removed). The hotel is not prepared for breakfast yet. It is served at a bakery nearby, which didn’t have options for celiac people. The employees were very nice and brought juice and fruits etc. for us at the hotel. Hopefully next time the hotel will serve its own breakfast.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate. They were all extrememly friendly and helpful and had wonderful suggestions for meals and excursions. The room was lovely and comfortable and very clean. The restaurant situtaion was not exactly as expected as both the breakfast spot and the bar & restaurant are on the property but not owned by the restaurant. However, they included a wonderful full breakfast (eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee etc.) at the cafe that is in front of the hotel and even arranged for them to open extra early for us on several days to make our 8am tours. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The closet space to unpack clothing and bathroom necessities is a challenge everywhere in Europe. I would love to have seen some shelves in the closet and bathroom to be able to unpack a little better.

Great location, clean airy rooms with fantastic front of house.

On departure we had checked out but before heading to the airport we wanted to use a bathroom/toilet to freshen up after a long day out in the city heat but they didn’t have an adequate toilet it was a staff room that was full of hotel stuff. Would have been nice to have a toilet/ bathroom to freshen up.

Staff was super nice and helpful, location is great if you want a bit of quiet a way from the tourist madness. The cocktail bar was fantastic- great drinks and ambiance, seemed like a local crowd also goes there. The room was spacious and had an ipad that controlled everything in the room which was unique and cool!

This is a great place to stay. The location is perfect, and the staff are extremely friendly and professional.

Breakfast is served at a coffee shop just outside. The shop itself is great and the staff are very friendly. So this is not a complaint, but for a room rate this high ...

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was really useful. Breakfast in the bakery next door was nice.

As nice as the bakery was it was a little repetitive for a 5 night stay. (a very minor grumble as it was nice)

Great neighborhood just a short hop from the chaos of all the sites you would want to see. Centrally located near both bus and subway stations. Coming from New York, I would consider living in this area of Rome, busy but away from the hoards of tourists. December was the perfect time to visit.
