Authentic Italian living complex. Clean, very secure. Easy walking distance to cafe, restaurant, supermarket, metro, tourist spots. The bed was super comfy. The cleaners were very pleasant and helpful. Check in and out was seamless. Alessandro speaks good English and assisted us with our enquires.

Currently the tram line route directly out the front is being renewed. Just meant we had to walk with our luggage to the metro. The walls of the rooms were porous. You could hear the neighbours conversations. The bunch of keys were very noisey. Our bathroom was a little small for my husband as he is a tall larger man.

Really good location. You can literally walk to the Colosseum and other close by locations, near the metro and bus stops that will take you anywhere. Staff was really good and friendly. Aventino was an old building that was converted to a guest house so main doors reflect that. It is tricky to find because there's no big sign, so I suggest you reach out in advance to have someone show you the way.

The room we stayed in had some issues, mainly with the bathroom. There was a bit of mold on the ceiling which we were reassured would be taken care of, but also, a shower door was missing. One shower door means a lot of water is getting out and there is the danger of slipping when you get out because the towel for the feet can only hold so much water. Since it is an old building, some noise is unavoidable but mostly from other guests, not the street.

- the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a hotel - quiet and safe block of flats, easy to reach the means of transport - great coffee machine available at any given time (has hot chocolate and milk too!) - close attention to cleaning every day during the stay - nice books on the hallway - soundproof walls (it s usual to find in Italy really thin walls and be disturbed by neighbors) - AC - enough hangers for my clothes in the closet

- the bathroom radiator was a bit rusty - make sure to announce in advance what the hour of your arrival will be, they were very kind and waited for me even if I was a couple of hours late

We chose this place for its price to quality ratio, which was even more surprising once we got in the actual room. The room is very clean and the bed was comfortable. They left us some snacks and chilled water! As well as free access to beverages in the lobby which was amazing. The bathroom was very clean as well and the overall layout was surprising for the price! Moreover, the staff was very welcoming, very chill, they where open to help us with anything that we might have needed. They really made our stay that much more enjoyable.

The only complaints we have is that the air-conditioning could be a bit colder as our room was a bit more warm than the lobby. We think this was due to one of the windows not being able to close completely. And one small thing was the shower which had weird pressure.

The guesthouse was great! Really nice room and bathroom, both spacious and clean. A bonus was that we had a small fridge and a coffee machine. Friendly staff and overall a lovely stay. Only 15 mins walk to the colosseum and 2 mins away from a supermarket and a metro stop to connect you to the rest of Rome.

The only fault I could think of is the lack of door on the shower so the water does get everywhere a bit. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

We liked absolutely everything - this guesthouse is an amazing place to stay at when in Rome. Location is just perfect, not crowded, calm and safe - 5 mins by walk to metro/bus stop, 15 mins to Colosseum. There are some cafes and restaurants, supermarket around - very convenient. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Nice, clean room with all the facilities, sunny terrace, free coffee and snacks - everything was at our disposal. Next time staying again at Aventino Guest house!

Location was excellent!! Colosseum is only 10 mins on foot. So many bus stops right around the area that take you to the center and all the remarkable places. Alessandro was there when we arrived and helped us with everything. He was extremely friendly and comfortable. There is also free coffee and tea. Just a lovely place!

It can be a bit loud since the space is small (so you can hear surrounding rooms). But the place itself is in a quiet neighborhood.

This was a great hotel, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The bathroom was nice and clean, had we also had access to a small fridge. There was also a dining area and patio which were lovely with complimentary teas/ coffees and snacks. The location was fantastic as it wasn't a far walk to the colosseum, we used the electric scooters which made everything else handy. I couldn't recommend this place enough as it was beautiful, close enough to all aspects of the city and a great price

There wasn't many sockets in the room so I would recommend an extension cable if you need to charge more than one thing or use multiple appliances at once. Other than that the room was more than for for purpose.

The location was great, about a 30 minute walk from the Colosseum and even closer for the Circo Massimo. We also liked that we could come home to a room with aircon which was really needed as it was hot and humid on our walks. Alessandro was a lovely host and made sure that we were comfortable and happy with our stay. She even brought us some water, yoghurts and croissants which was a sweet touch. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was a coffee machine in our room which was great! However we sometimes wanted tea (which was also provided and lovely) but without a kettle it was hard to make tea using the coffee machine as the water didn't heat up enough. We should have requested one though so it's certainly not the fault of the establishment. So just a tip perhaps for future visitors :)

Everything was great. The room was being cleaned every day and every time we were given new croissants and cookies :). Contact with the owner was excellent and very helpful. The localization was amazing, you can get almost anywhere on foot and if not the metro is just around the corner. I recommend staying there :)

Just a minor flaw, there could be a kettle in the room
