The location of this property is excellent. It is just across the road from the railway station and the cafes and restaurants are very close by. We were able to walk to the popular tourist spots of the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and the Colosseum . Our room was on the sixth floor and although we chose to use the stairs, there is a small two person lift. The room had a view of the city and although this hotel is in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet. The staff at reception and our cleaner were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and there were many options to choose from but hot foods are not part of the selection.

The bathroom, in particular the shower, is very small but was adequate for us.

I liked the LOCATION. it was directly across the street from Termini train station that takes you to both the airport and Tren Italia and train .Italo and when I go to Rome I need to be near Termini train station because I go to different places throughout Italy using Rome as my home base. It is a very charming old fashioned hotel. It does not have key cards it has old fashioned bronze keys that are reminiscent of the 1930's which I love since I am a Historian. I love the safety. There is a front desk with a person all day and all night watching who comes in and who goes out so my daughter and I felt very safe. The bathroom was very clean. Right across the street is the taxi line to take you anywhere you want to go in Rome as well as all buses if you care to save money. I loved it. and I prefer this hotel to any "modern" hotel in Italy.

There were no blankets It was mid April and Rome is still chilly. I didn't know how chilly it would be There was only a sheet and a bedspread but I went to the front desk and asked for two blankets for the second night and they promptly delivered two clean woolen blankets.

Certainly an ideal location for those travelling by train. Rooms spacious in the more traditional style. Buffet breakfast quite reasonable.

Long faced reception staff who all appeared to want to be anywhere else but at work. Interactions all rather laboured and strained.

Single mum from northern ireland travelling with my 2 young teenage sons. This was so easy to find. Bus from fiumicino dropped us a few minutes away. Perfect location. We stayed 1 night before heading to civitavecchia for a cruise. Lots of shops in the roma termini/train/bus station across the road the station is huge give plenty of time to find your train. Hop on hop off bus at the end of the street. Saw so much in such a short space of time. Enjoyed the cannoli in Roma termini. Noisy street below but never heard much unless the window was open. It was nice to waken to a fresh morning and the hustle and bustle of Rome. Beautiful place. Loved it here.

It was very warm for the kids but I liked the heat and we could open a window but leave the shutters closed.

Because of the low rating of this property in the guest reviewes here, I didn't have much expectations however, I found it actually highly satisfactory hence making me realize that the property doesn't deserve its score. First, the property is right across Termini which enables you to explore the city via metro or other Italian destinations (I was able to do Pisa and Florence on one day). Second, the property is clean and well-maintained. It may look classic, far from the modern design of hotels in the Middle East, but its part of its old Roman charm. Third, it provides all your needs sufficiently - from the breakfast to the toiletries to the strong wifi connection. Comparing it against what you pay for, it is actually a good bargain already as almost all essentials are provided. I look forward to booking this accommodation again when in Rome.

Perhaps, the only addition needed is a kettle for coffee or tea and a bottle of water.

The hotel is located near Termini station where you can find trains, bus, metro and taxis and it's not far from the historical center of Rome. The staff is really nice and helpful and the rooms were clean, although a bit small but functional and cozy. We arrived early and could deposit our lugagge without paying an extra fee for the lugagge service which was really nice. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Kind and helpful staff, location is perfect, clean room, the shower system is amazing, meet my expectations

Weak air condition system and they turn it off at mid nights, the size of the room (double room) could be better but we could manage it, the extra bed was not comfortable as the original ones (pre-installed beds), the size of the stand shower in the double bedroom was too small (for my size over 110kg), but I could managed it for days

No fresh juice or fresh fruit at breakfast. The pastry was old and the coffee machines didn't work properly the last 3 days. The reception staff was first rate. The housekeeping staff was also above average.

This is an older facility that is doing everything it can to keep up appearances. But things like the bathtub in our room was so high to step into. The air conditioning struggled to stay ahead of the daily heat.

Excellent location, just next to metro, you can visit city attractions on foot, with a 20-30 min walk or with a metro in few minutes. Lot of shops, caffes and restaurants near by, busy area, but not loud (room was located from the street), it is next to metro and train station but it feels safe . Airport shuttle stops near by , little down the street. Clean room , new towels everyday, tidying the bed and trash daily.

You can hear the water flows in hotel rooms, especially by night when it's quiet.

We chose this hotel because it was across the street from the termini station. It was an overnight stay before we flew home. The ac wasn't very strong but it was ok. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The staff was wonderful too.

The room itself was a bit small but good enough for us. I would opt for a bigger room if I stay longer next time.
