We were traveling with an 8-month-old baby. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Stefano, the most generous, kind, and helpful host we have ever met. He was very helpful in directing us around the city, and very understanding. The rooms were very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and we had 2 different variations of pillows to choose from. The toilet was very clean and it smelt very nice. The reception, and lounge/dining area were really nice. THE LOCATION IS GREAT. We didn't have to use a taxi for the majority of the time. Everything is 10-20min of walking. Overall we have only the best experience from this object, and when we come back to ROME, we are definitely staying here again. 10 out of 10

The location, outside main city center - but 15 minutes walking there, airport shuttle gets you 3 minutes of walking from the place so you save time and money, and the neighborhood is so fabulous - great shop, much comfortable to.walk than main city center, wonderful restorants - what can you ask more? Oh, the rooms are being cleaned every day (!), they are modern, suoer comfyable bad, quiet, and last but not leasr - the staff is so helpful, giving their WhatsApp number to answer any question, any time of the day. Highly-Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at the Roma de Papei Hotel and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attentive service, specially Steffano that went above and beyond helping us and asnwering us all our questions. The beautifully decorated rooms offered a perfect blend of comfort and style, and the on-site restaurant served delicious, locally-sourced meals that were a highlight of my stay. The hotel's central location made exploring Rome a breeze, yet it provided a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. What sets Roma de Papei apart is the genuine sense of community and belonging it fosters, making it a place you'll want to return to time and time again. Andrea was the most amazing host! Full of knowledge and great recommendations! He organised our transfers, advised restaurants and even made reservations for us! And he was available around the clock for any questions or help we may have needed. He went above and beyond! Also the location was amazing. Walking distance to everything. Also the rooms were very comfy and so clean. Beds made every day and fresh towels when we needed them. Also smart tv in the room as well as WiFi, was just icing on the cake.

The only thing we could say that was missing was hair conditioner. And maybe tea/coffee facilities in the room would be nice but saying that there was communal tea/coffee making facilities in reception. But these are only very minor things.

I had never stayed in this part of Rome before, but the location was perfect for the time of our visit. We could quickly walk to historic district, travestre or metro stop, but hotel out of the crowds and quiet and safe. Gated entrance to building shared with residences . Checkin was a breeze and they were very accommodating!

Only thing. Air conditioner unit and remote control unreliable. Not modern. Maybe problem was with old broken remote? Not a deal breaker. Annoying, but you just had to constantly fiddle with it. I will stay here again though, and I plan on coming back in a few months

Stefano was an awesome host, pleasant and friendly always willing to help and give advice and directions. Loved the cute pastry and coffee and juice in the mornings. Great aircon and clean room. Safe area, lots of places to eat close by and right by Vatican. Exactly what we were looking for. Communication was great also before checking in.

All was great, I notice other reviews mentioning a small shower but I found it fine, maybe if your oversized it might be small for your liking.

My stay at Röma del Papi was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s very close to St. Peter’s Basilica and public transportation. My room was impeccably clean, and had all the basic necessities. All staff were very hospitable, and genuinely friendly. Luca, Andrea and Eduardo made me feel extremely welcome and very helpful to assist me with any information all the time. Really exceptional service!! - Awesome location for someone visiting the Vatican museums and the historic Roman locations, many are just 10-15 minutes walk away from the hotel - Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk - she made our stay very pleasant, THANK YOU! - Nice and clean room with all amenities you may want including A/C - very important in Rome in August! - It is a small hotel in a residential/office building and has a distinct and nice "personality" compared to the traditional big name chains like Hilton or Marriott

All were perfect. The room was in perfect condition and very new. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, that make the sleep very sweet. After the so much walking in Rome, these beds are what you really need in order to wake up relaxed the next morning 😀. The location is very good. The hotel is very central and you can go EVERYWHERE by feet. We stayed 4 days in Rome and we never got a taxi or bus. The owner Stefano is so friendly, polite and helpful. He welcomed us so warm, he gave us map and explained to us how to go to the important places. He suggested restaurants, he helped us to book bus from and to the airport. He was there for us for everything we needed. Also, Stefano was providing every morning croissants, coffee and juices free of charge. This is a so kind gesture that we really appreciated. All were perfect, so I suggest you 100% to book this hotel. If I travel again Rome, I will book for sure this hotel. Stefano, thank you so much for this pleasant stay😀.

Small but Clean rooms , friendly and very helpful staff, 2 minutes walking from piazza Cavour and that means you can find a bus to go to all the main attractions(like 10-15 minutes with a bus) and also taxi to get to the airport. 2 minutes walking from Castle St Angelo and the river. Quiet neighbourhood and the building feels very safe since you have to pass 3 doors to get into the hotel.

The only problem is that you can hear things from the room next door but ok they were quiet at night so we didn't have any problem
