This hotel is in an excellent location for sight seeing and walking distance to Termini station. It also has a gorgeous, enormous rooftop. Great shower, comfy beds.

Our room was on the ground floor facing a back street and it was quite noisy - could hear garbage trucks in the middle of the night. Bring ear plugs!

The first suite had a poor seal on the window, so the room was somewhat noisy for sleeping. Staff immediately switched rooms, giving me a huge upgrade in room type. The room was very quiet. Very nice washroom facilities with double sinks. Excellent customer care and service. The hotel has a very good restaurant as well. Staying at The Hive made our week-long stay in Rome a very enjoyable experience.

Found which light switch controlled which lights a little confusing initially, but eventually figured it out.

Very handy location, extremely clean environments and beautiful rooms in general. There's a very nice roof terrace with restaurant, although I didn't use it personally. Staff at reception were very kind, and spoke excellent english. The beds were extremely comfortable, excellent night sleep.

The coffee/tea offering in the rooms is poor, from a similar hotel I would expect a coffee machine with a couple of complimentary pods and a better selection of tea. Personal note, I didn't like the room fragrance that cleaning staff spray after refreshing the room, the staff has kindly agreed to not use it in my room.

Beautiful and clean hotel with comfortable large rooms and bathrooms. Excellent location within a 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini train & metro station and a 2 minutes walk to Santa Maria Maggiore basilica. Breakfast was rich and the staff were welcoming and courteous. Beautifully designed rooms inspired by beehives with even honey scented shampoo and shower gel.

Paralellogram shaped elevators (maybe to mimic the bee hive shape?) that can barely fit a couple of large bags stand out in the otherwise immaculate hotel design.

Great location walking distance from the train station and walking distance to a lot of great sightseeing and restaurants. They had our room available for early check in which was great after a long day of travel

The bed was a little too firm for my preference

Everything was perfect! The room was big and super clean, the bed was very comfy and the lobby is spacious.

I wish the street was cleaner but that’s not a matter of the hotel…

It is almost a 7 minutes walking distance to the termini station. The room was spacious and very Clean.

There was no internet in my room, which was in the second floor, room no. 238. In the last day when we made the checkout and asked The reception man to call a taxi for us he told us that in this day there is a taxi strike and he will bring us a private van to take us to the airport for 70 euro. But when we came to take the van we found that there are another two people are coming with us and the price now is 100 euro and we can share the 100 euro. He should told us from the beginning that and not in the last minute.

Hive is a good comfortable property. 5 minutes walk to Roma Termini and about 15 minutes easy and exploring walk towards Trevi. it’s in middle of everything giving access to all sides. room was spacious, clean, good shower, all perfect. will stay at Hive again when in Rome

The room was very comfortable and spacious. It has a large lobby for check in and comfortable lounge. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good price for the property and surrounded by other hotels. The property is about 1 mile from all main attractions.

We arrived before check in and we’re told to come back in 1 hour to check in early. After walking around Rome for 2 hours, we returned and they told us the room was not ready and we needed to come back in 2 more hours. It was inconvenient on a very hot day and after a long flight. The shower has a small glass wall that makes it very difficult to shower without flooding the bathroom.

We had a very nice spacious room with all amenities you would expect of a high rated hotel. The breakfast options were plentiful and varied.

We picked a hotel that was close to the railway station and Metro. Unfortunately, although the hotel was just what we expected and where we wanted it was not a particularly nice area. There was a tremendous amount of rubbish and litter on the streets and paths, unfortunate homeless people sleeping in doorways and the paths and road infrastructure left a lot to be desired - just generally run down and seedy.
