Absolutely wonderful! I had always wanted to stay at a Hoxton and since we were going to Rome to celebrate my birthday, it made sense to splurge a little (we usually go for guest houses or local accommodations). I'm so glad we did as we adored it from the moment we set foot there – and this impression remained throughout our stay. The decor is vintage-y and the furnishings and amenities are of the highest quality. The location is ideal, with many points of interest and restaurants in the area. On my birthday night, we went to Vrindaa, a vegan fine dining place, across the street which genuinely deserves a Michelin star.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say the music in the lounge/restaurant area downstairs was too loud. Wanted to work from there one day and it was kind of distracting.

Pretty much everything :) The room was clean, comfy, quiet and beautifully designed. Service was friendly and accommodating.

We knew this when booking of course, but the location is not the most convenient. We walked into town in the mornings and took taxis back in the evenings. That was fine, but there were times we wished we were more central and could easily stop by the room to rest during the day or change before dinner.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was so cute and comfortable. It felt very posh and was around some great restaurants and markets. I would definitely recommend. Even the music that was pumped out into the lobby was top notch.

It was a bit further from the attractions but they were always able to secure a taxi for me. I would go again but never in June. It was so hot. I would have done more exploring but the weather made me miserable at times.

The venue was great for seeing Rome... The room was very roomy but the views were not much considering the cost of upgrading for a balcony just buildings all around and a carpark with loads of bins.... Food from the restaurant / breakfast was very hit and miss, with orders being muddled up and late in coming, so partners food got cold..... Great room facilities with water and milk replaced each day... Overall experience but equally pleasantly comfortable...

Food service was very mixed up and slow.... No buffet so had to wait for each item to be brought out, so if you wanted another coffee it was another 10 mins, then a juice another wait and do on...

Super clean & chic The staff were amazing and welcoming. They were professional but relaxed which made me feel extremely comfortable. They were also very efficient which I really appreciated. Whomever is managing house keeping is doing a terrific job.

They are still working on the new menu. The food is still work in progress so I only ate there the once. It must be hard to compete with Rome and what it offers in food. That’s understandable. The music level in the evening was a little high. If I had been in company I would have been shouting at them, not speaking. Maybe it’s an Italian thing.

It was so clean and our room was beautifully decorated. I think the bathroom was one of the best parts of the room with a really nice, large shower. The breakfast was amazing - you could order whatever you wanted off the menu and have multiple dishes if you wanted. The staff at breakfast were particularly great. Shout out to Mauro and Fabrizio for going above and beyond and making our stay even better.

Only a few negatives to note; the small room is nicely decorated but a bit inconvenient as there is no hanging space at all. We had quite a lot of luggage because we were spending 10 days in Italy and it was difficult to unpack anything at all and find space for 2 x cases. The bar drinks menu was also pretty small and I found the drinks really expensive for what they were.

The central location was convenient, and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. However, I would caution future guests to manage their expectations in terms of certain amenities and dining options. Overall, while the Hoxton Hotel in Rome was a decent place to stay, there were some areas where the hotel could have improved to make the overall experience more enjoyable.

I found that while the hotel was stylish and the staff were friendly, there were a few areas where the hotel could have improved. One thing that stood out to me was the lack of certain amenities in the room, such as slippers and a shoe horn. These may seem like small details, but they can make a big difference in terms of overall comfort and convenience. Additionally, I found the on-site restaurant to be quite mediocre. While the food was not terrible, it was not particularly memorable either, and I felt that there were better dining options to be found elsewhere in the city.

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, not a huge variety to choose from but satisfying. Location was only a short walk to the bustling tourist areas of Rome. The Hotel was very clean with great amenities. We really loved the relaxed seating area outside after a busy day sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying at The Hoxton.

I can't think of anything i would change other than maybe a few more options for breakfast.

- Everything about this hotel is truly amazing! - Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean & a fantastic atmosphere. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. - The staff are the biggest asset to the hotel - they are simply amazing, especially the staff that run breakfast. Wish I got his name but the main young gentleman who was leading breakfast whilst we were there was so lovely and accommodating. - Breakfast is delicious, high quality, fresh ingredients and AMAZING value for money. Definitely recommend booking breakfast as you can dine a la carte style but order as much as you want. I think there was a special promo so we only paid €15 pp per day and the quality of the food was more than worth that. - We took taxis everywhere so location was great for us - all the major sites were within 10-15 mins drive :)
