If you are looking for a clean, budget friendly hotel to stay near San Gimignano, this is a good choice. The rooms are basic, but efficient. The pool was open and people were enjoying it. .

The wifi was requesting I log in with a soclial media outlet and password. I did find a way to get wifi without giving personal data, but it was not easy. The restaurant was closed on arrival and there are no other choices to dine except in San Gimignano. If you do not have a car, there are no shuttles at night. They did make a basic pizza and delivered it to the room. usually the restaurtant is closed on Thursdays for future planning for guests.

It is beautiful. The hotel was being cleaned while we were there so we knew right away it was a clean place. The check in was super easy. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but they were good enough and the room was quiet. The pool is AMAZING! There was someone delivering drinks and they had a pool menu. The grounds are lovely to walk and it is a close drive or shuttle to town. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good. In the morning, they provide the best breakfast I have ever received with a stay in my life. My daughter and I were beyond impressed with the breakfast! All in all, I would return over and over again.

I loved this place.

We stayed for four days. The walk to San Gimignano is about 30 minutes on a quite gravel road with great views over the village. The pool is perfect. Big, deep, clean & cool and enough beds & umbrella's around. Never too busy, mostly just good. You can order small dishes and drinks. The room was good, we had a comfortable bed (no split in the middle :)), decent bathroom and a large patio. The main road can be heard but is far enough so doesn't really disturbs. Most rooms are on the ground floor. The restaurant is great, just reserve in advance! Talking about the restaurant, the breakfast is exceptional! Lot of choices, good coffee and a fresh orange squeezer. Staff is great. Thank you Sovestro!

Not easy to find something to improve... maybe that the bed lights are very bright.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location! So quick to get some amazing wineries and San Gimignano. The pool is lovely and the breakfast was pretty good!

There is a restaurant onsite and it would be really helpful with the booking if the hotel would recommend booking this. Although it is a large restaurant they book out and hotel guests do not get first preference. We arrived the Wednesday and we’re told about the restraint for dinner and upon coming for dinner we’re told no way without reservation. You then have to drive to find another restaurant. They also close the restraint on Thursdays. We finally got to eat there the Friday and it was average.

The atmosphere, food, staff, rooms, and honestly everything was wonderful. We felt extremely comfortable the whole time we were there, wanting to stay longer if we could. The restaurant was great as well. We liked it so much we went a couple of times! My wife is GF and the selction between GF and other foods was really comforting. The pools were very well kept, and have no complaints. The room was phenomenal, with really great A/C. Parking was readily available, so we never had to stress where to park. We are already wanting to book another stay in the future!

Absolutely nothing. Great place!

The hotel was easy to locate and made a great spot from which to not only visit San Gimignano, but other towns as well. It had terrific views of the tuscan countryside. The free parking was plentiful and protected. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. This is hotel is owned, run and worked by a proud and hardworking family. The outside terrace for breakfast and dinner was beautiful and had wonderful views. The breakfast was very good, especially after we learned they would cook eggs and omelets to order. The food was so good that we ate dinner at the hotel all three nights of our stay. The pool area is a beautiful area to relax after a day of sightseeing even though the water was a little cold in May for swimming.

The hotel is not that close to San Gimignano, so it would be nice if their shuttle would be operated more frequently and regularly. Taxis are not that easy to get in town, so as of now, I would advise you drive yourself and park.

The host was very kind. The typical Tuscany natural scenery around the hotel was very pretty and fantastic. Also the breakfast was very good. Especially the variety of cakes, fresh raw orange juice and cheese were delicious. You can also go to Siena and Montepulciano by car. This is a hotel I would recommend to my friends.

It was just too far to walk to San Gimignano. There is a free hotel shuttle, but the operation time was ambiguous.

The hotel was just right, much larger than I anticipated too. You can walk into San Gimignano or there is a shuttle run by the hotel four times a day. The facilities were excellent, wide variety of breakfast, restaurant food was excellent and family and staff who run it really enjoy their work.

Really couldn't think of much...perhaps extra pillows or larger towels?

It was nice to see the owner himself (Mr. Sergio) attending to the hotel guests (e.g., greeting at the reception, giving a free ride/drop to the San Gimignano tourist entry point, etc.). It was amazing to learn that he is an accomplished person who got many awards in car racing in yesteryears. The property has a pool, a lovely verandah to the room, beautiful property amidst the olive and grape trees. It was a nice 20 mins walk back down the hill to the hotel with very good picturesque scenery of Tuscany hills and vineyards. The breakfast was superb - serving also fresh orange juice & hot eggs to order!

I wish there were more vegetarian meal options at the restaurant for lunch/dinner

Everything. This is a well run professional hotel run by a family, what could be better. it is clean to a fault, all staff are friendly and happy. The pool and gardens are stunning and the breakfast and restaurant are wonderful. I was last at this hotel in 2007, we loved it then and little has changed
