Old world charm, attention to detail, super clean, beautiful building, lovely staff, gorgeous room with the highest ceiling I've ever seen. Our room on the lower floor had a ceiling of what looked like 6 meters! nice and cool in summer, with good AC. (the upper floor has lower ceilings and his hotter in summer.) Restaurant upstairs had simple but great food, beautiful room and breakfast buffet was fantastic with 7 different types of local fruit pies and cakes, plus all usual breakfast foods - great selection. Easy parking outdoors in front of hotel surrounded by very tall trees for shade.

Spa facilities were lovely. The food and wine at the restaurant were great. We rented bikes and it was a lovely cycle into Pisa through the countryside - really lovely setting. Staff in the spa were very helpful.

Generally found the service was not very attentive - at breakfast and at dinner it was difficult to get the attention of staff and be served. Staff in the restaurant were a bit cold and distant with us but seemed ok with other guests - we thought maybe because we are from the UK or looked young? We got the impression we were not very welcome which was a bit awkward! But it was a still a lovely weekend because of how beautiful the hotel and setting was and the staff at the spa were very nice

The hotel is in a beautiful setting out in the countryside outside of Pisa. The bar and lounge area were beautiful and had such a relaxing atmosphere. The food was wonderful and the staff were excellent. The room rate was very good.

There was no air-conditioning available. We were told the air-con gets turned off in October but considering the warm temperature this year, the hotel room was very warm. When we checked in we were told that we could have a fan for the room but when we asked later, we were told they weren't able to give us one. The main areas of the hotel were lovely but the room itself was plain and nothing special

Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. The complementary use of the spa facilities was amazing a real bonus on a rainy day. Close to the station for trips to lucca and Florence. Breakfast was amazing.

There is nothing else really in the village. No other options for eating. The restaurant menu was although large seemed bizzare with its options, for 2 people who eat most things nothing really jumped out that we wanted, an unusual situation for us ~ every other restaurant we saw on day trips we fancied numerous things and had difficulty limiting the options. The menu in the bar was very limited but the food was delicious.

This is a really wonderful hotel, we went early July 2023 and it was very quiet and peaceful. We had no issues booking spa treatments, getting sun loungers or using the restaurants or bar. There's a really beautiful walk up behind the hotel with amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would say the restaurant and bar food menus are very expensive - we paid EUR15 for 3 small scoops of gelato one night which left me quite annoyed. I would return to this hotel if we go back to Pisa.

All the pools are HOT, which was a fantastic idea when I booked the trip in the depths of winter but come the heatwave of July 2023, I was dreaming of cold water...! Also, the wi-fi is SUPER-FLAKY, don't expect to be able to stream Netflix or even TikTok for any extended period of time.

Good spa facilities and good choice of products for breakfast. Very professional and accommodating staff, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Very beautiful and relaxing place.

Few small things which could easily be ironed out: Coffee which was served for breakfast, cappuccino was boiling hot and espresso watered down. While our first dinner was superb, the second one was not as good, with certain things overly salty. I wish terme were open a bit longer in, it would be nice to have an evening soak.

Quintessential Italian spa experience. Loved the massage and the steam/sauna as well as several indoor and outside thermal pool options. will be back

Overall the property is very dated and in need of refreshing. Photos online are very flattering. Overpriced accommodation and dinner in my opinion. Needs updating to justify the price.
