We very much liked the central location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was simple, but there was good wardrobe space and good shutters. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Siena.

I wish we'd known how easy it was to use the buses to get from the station into town, not far from the hotel, as we waited a long, long time for a taxi on arrival at the railway station, and the hotel wasn't able to book a taxi for us going back to the station, because there are too few taxi firms working in the town. But the bus service was really good.

This a traditional European hotel in an over 100 year old building. Bohemia would be the best description. If you are expecting everything to be ultramodern there is a 4 star hotel down the street at four times the price. This hotel is a great value. You could not ask for a better location, well insulated from the thongs of tourists. Our Friends who were staying in Siena were jealous of the central location, a 7 minute walk to any part of the city. The hotel is located off the main street and the area was very safe. Staff was always helpful, calling taxis and answering all our questions.

This is a comment on Siena and not the hotel itself. Do not even think about driving inside the walls of the city. Google maps will get you completely lost, sending you down the wrong way on one way streets. The locals made you well aware of it! Street parking is nonexistent and if you park in the wrong spot your car will get towed within the hour. I recommend that you contact the hotel and get the address of the free parking area right outside the Wall. Google maps does have this right! Park your car there and leave it there. The parking area is a 7 minute walk to the hotel or have the hotel call you a cab.

Great location, really central. It's in Sienna so obviously it doesn't have free parking as they bizarrely state. What they mean is you can park somewhere for free, by which measure I'll assume almost every hotel on the planet has 'free parking'. We got there about 5pm and found a free parking space where the suggested then just walked in, it's an easy 10 min walk. Hotel is typical older Italian style, no frills but with a no frill price. If you want frills then you're gonna need to paying for them elsewhere. We had no complaints, only there for a night so it was perfect.

The location was really 12 points. To feel the atmosphere of the medieval city and to make just a few steps to be at the top historical attractions is important for us. A slight European breakfast was good, and the room was modest but the location compensated for everything.

There is no parking in the old town, so the guidance to find the hotel could be improved. For example, you have to make a sharp 360 degrees U-turn up the hill in the city center and it is difficult to understand, whether is it allowed or not (I doubted, maybe this is one-way traffic in the opposite direction).

definitely location is a key, if you want to feel Siena, eat good things, stay after sun dusk there is no better place than city center. The room is basic but warm (which may ba a surprise in other places when temp outside drops to 10C), bed is good, and bathroom is good enough. It is old building in strict city center.

first of all there is no free parking nearby, you need to find your own place outside city center. if you count on normal breakfast you will be disappointment - some juice, some jams and bread - but at least it is something.

The location was the best thing and very close from hotel there is free parking. Despite the fact that address is correct, host send me a message with complete explanation how to reach destination with every single street in Sienna.. This was due to one street with limited access, and without it I would lost half one hour in seeking the hotel.

Breakfast is included, but I hoped that I would had a chance to try some domestic food like cheese or ham and instead of that on the table were only few things (bread, cream, honey..)

This is an excellent little hotel, by far the best two star I’ve seen and better than some three stars. Apart from an excellent central location and helpful staff - they remembered me after a six year absence! - the calm, simple, clean aspect of the rooms, almost monastic in feeling, appealed greatly to us. The room was large too, and quiet ( avoid rooms facing the street unless you like moderate noise).

Breakfast is adequate but not memorable.

Exceptional 2 star hotel right in the centre of siena great value for money the young lady who was on duty very friendly and helpful clean crisp comfortably bedding breakfast was what I have at home cereal and tea

The toilet cistern overflow was running into the toilet all night the manager was informed but did nothing about it .the noise kept us awake most of the night. They must of been aware of the problem before we arrived room 10 family room beware

The location is superb for the price, located in the center of the old town with accesss to all nice restaurants and tourist attractions. The rooms and facilities not fancy but good.

The breakfast could have been better with just some small improvments. For the price I don't expect enaything outstanding, but a tomato or at cucumber along with the bread would hav been nice

The location was amazing. Right in the centre of all the action. The room was just the right size. Comfy beds, warm enough and quiet on the street at night. Very clean accomodation and very friendly lovely staff. Also I recommend going to Pizzicheria - it has beautiful authentic Italian meats and cheese. Only a short walk from the hotel. Trust me, you won't be sorry!

The breakfast was ok. An assortment of fruits would have been a nice addition. The bathroom needs an exhaust fan because there are no windows so it can get very humid in there.
