This is a very unique, historic hotel with a lovely lobby and great staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was phenomenal. It’s nice to have a little chat with the other hotel guests while having breakfast, as well and the space lends itself to conversation. We love the open bar, honor system style lobby. Silvia, the kind woman who works the front desk was very warm to my son and I. She made sure we were well taken care of and had all our needs met. The owners of this hotel are very lucky to have the hostess at the breakfast, as well. The staff spoke perfect English and took interest in our family. The bathtub was luxurious and we enjoyed it.

The glass in the tub was open to the room so we felt a bit self conscious showering with family in the room. Perhaps consider a shade that could be rolled down on the outside of the window?

The location was fantastic - right in the heart of the city but down a quiet side street away from the throng of tourists. Perfect!!! The ladies who run the place (Sylvia, Angela and Hilaria) are simply amazing…they greet you every morning and are so friendly and helpful! In fact, I don’t think I’ve stayed anywhere where the hotel managers are so lovely. The hotel itself is stunning and full of history. The breakfast was delicious and lots of choice with fresh fruits, pastries, hams, cheeses fresh coffee, tea and juices! If I could have rated the hotel higher than a ten, I would have done! Nothing at all…everything was perfect!!!

I liked EVERYTHING. The most beautifully appointed boutique hotel we've ever stayed in. From the quality of the bed linen and towels to the well-stocked mini-fridge; the stunning decor, the incredible breakfast.....and the staff.....the building was originally a palace, and all the staff treated us like royalty. Seriously. If you want to feel pampered and really valued, stop what you are doing right now, and book a stay in this hotel!

There was more of a walk to the hotel from the car park than we expected.

This is a gorgeous hotel that was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. It is 4 minutes walk from Campo and the centre of Siena but on a quiet street. The interior reveals an aged property with lots of great touches - there is a great central staircase but also a lift (for sore legs). Our room was pleasantly art funky with lots of space and very comfortable. I think every room is different but assume the other rooms are equally lovely. The room didn't have AC but the room was cool even during a heat wave. The breakfast buffet was also excellent We would happily stay there again.

What a spectacular property in a historic palace. Old world meets modern eclectic interior design. Great location in heart of city. I loved how large the room was and also the soaking tub…complete with a candle and matches which I used after grabbing a drink from the honesty bar. The breakfast was delicious with so many options and was happy to see all the fresh fruit. Staff were very kind and helpful as well - no ask was too much. Had such a relaxing, dreamy stay in this hotel - only wish I could have stayed longer!

Nothing - it was perfect.

What a unique place. As an interior designer, I appreciate well designed spaces and architecture. This hotel used to be a 13th century palace/private residence and it is remarkable. They used every square inch of space creatively and functionally and the bathroom was modern with amenities . The staff was lovely and helpful and we enjoyed our stay so much. Would highly recommend if you’d like cool and unusual boutique hotels.

Nothing not to like here. But if you’re wearing heels (or had a few too many glasses of wine) be very careful on their extremely old and original staircases. Parking was challenging.

Super cool boutique hotel in the heart of Siena, built within a historic neighbourhood palace. Sensational room, minimalist design, but really well appointed and more importantly, super comfy. Great great Breakfast and the team at the hotel were really friendly and helpful making the stay memorable. A hotel we will definitely come back to.

Although the hotel is slightly dark, with 40 degrees, was actually a welcome rest from the heat!

terrific location, beautiful building in the heart of Siena with excellent customer relations. The breakfast was delicious with everything you could want and variety each day. the staff speaks English, French, and Italian of course so easy communication. they were able to arrange transfers, a private wine tour and ride to the coast for us. I can’t say enough nice things about this top notch boutique hotel.

there was nothing I did not like. it was excellent

The hotel was beautifully appointed and decorated with great sympathy for the antiquity of the building. Such a calm and tranquil atmosphere.The breakfast was fresh and varied with friendly staff on hand to help. During the day there was always somebody around to help out with any requests or queries. It was quiet at night. The honesty bar came in very handy when returning late and in need of a night cap.

The wet room could have been a little larger - but this is a small point.

Super staff at reception and in the breakfast room. Your wilingness to book fab restaurants for us was very much appreciated. Breakfast in your beautiful breakfast area with your wonderful, friendly, knowledgable, professional staff was a joyful way to start the day. Thank you!
