The property was very central & provided easy access to sights on both Ortigia and Siracusa I.e. I could walk everywhere & didn’t even feel a need to rent a bike or scooter. The staff also very kindly allowed me to leave my luggage for a couple of hours after I checked out at 10am as my train didn’t leave until 2pm

I was under the impression that breakfast would be included in my booking price I.e. it’s called a B&B. My room door locked with only 1 turn of the key & the door jamb was split … which made me feel weird & insecure as I was the only guest in my first night there I think & my imagination kinda went wild (a bit). There were other guests on my 2nd night which somehow made me feel safer. My room had only a window opening to an internal air shaft ie. no outside view and no one to hear if anything bad happened!

Fantastic localization with a view to the Apollo temple right in the beginning of the walking center of Syracuse in Ortega island. Everything near by including restaurants and monuments and narrow little streets. Great breakfast in coffeeshop below. Windows open into the nice busy streets full of people strolling around or eating ice cream. Taxis also just below your window to travel quickly to train station or to the old greek monuments farther away (nearby just Apollo temple) plus the medieval italian city not as ancient as farther away from ortiga in the greek era archaeological park and museum.

quiet good in general, maybe the hostess could be nicer and more welcoming but that is really not a big deal since the location is so top and she is not rude or anything, just not all smiles but she is efficient.

Can't get any better with the location - it's bang opposite the Apollo temple ruins and overlooks the open-air Bazar. Our window opened to the bazar, and had a marble seat so you could sit there and people watch. My friend (travelling with me) did not experience any dust allergy flareups - this means the beds linen was clean. The location, the pricepoint and the spaciousness of the room is the best thing about this b&b.

There is a smoking room (its like a common area kitchenette) which was adjacent to our room, so at times we would get the smell of cigarette smoke wafting if we sit next to the window.

I had a great stay at Apollo B&B. The location was perfect for exploring Syracusa, as it is located near the entrance of Ortigia Island and the Temple of Apollo. The staff was friendly and helped me carry two heavy suitcases up the stairs during check-in and check-out.

The window did not block out the street noise and the bathroom fan transmitted noise as well, which woke me up early.

property was in a great location and very clean. such a great value for the money spent. the staff was helpful and very nice!

i would have liked a room with a window to outside but it was fine. room was very quiet.

Breakfast was at a cafe next door and just included a croissant and coffee. Room was large with a nice bathroom and conveniently located. Staff let us keep our bags there, no charge, since check out was at ten, but we weren't leaving until after one.

Staff is great. The room is nice. All good for BandB. Location is great.

too much noise. The walls are not soundproof.

location was amazing, just what we needed for one night. The bathroom was the cleanest bathroom i have ever seen! It was all a bit dated but it was well worth the money and i would stay again

The main lobby was dusty with bags of mortar lying on the ground and the stairs up not too enticing. However the room is acceptable and clean.

Great price, big spacious room and huge bathroom. Superb central location!

there was no light in the building. it’s an old one with old steps so not ideal. You can hear other people from the other rooms as the walls are super thin
