We loved everything about this property. It is perfectly located on Ortigia, and our room had an ocean view. The furnishings and style feel like a luxury old world hotel, but Simona, Noemi, and the rest of the staff make it feel like home. They helped with taxis, luggage, gave us fantastic food and your recommendations, and were accommodating with our challenging schedule. But the best thing—the best thing is the breakfast. Enough artisan pastries to satisfy anyone, with different kinds and styles each day. Fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, everything, and it was presented so beautifully. Hands down the best breakfast I’ve be ever had in decades of b&b’s.

It was a highlight of our trip. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We booked the Romantic suite with private terrace. It was an amazing view. The room was spacious with furniture and decor that was generations old (very tasteful). Modern bathroom despite the old building. Breakfast served on the private terrace- amazing spread- quantity was too much though for the 2 of us (I felt bad for not finishing the food). You can walk all the island by foot. The room had two sets of doors for good wind and noise insulation.

Only downside is the main stairs that are narrow and steep. No lift. Ensure that you can carry your suitcase; that it is not too heavy. Luckily, my partner was able to carry my suitcase up; but it was a challenge even for him.

Stunning property. Loved the antiques!! Gorgeous furnishings. The suite room was perfect. Very clean and comfortable and it had all you needed. Beautiful little balcony overlooking the sea. Loved the tiles and cacti. We had a wonderful breakfast outside. The shower was excellent and comfortable bed. The staff Simona and Laura were fantastic- we had Laura attend to us during our stay; who was exceptional! Very helpful and accommodating. She helped us with the parking and recommended great places to eat out at a reasonable price. She also helped us prepare breakfast for our early check out. Very cosy and welcoming place. Highly recommend. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Nothing it was perfect!

Absolutely everything, Laura was so lovely, a wealth of information and so pleasant. We had a room with a Juliette balcony and it was lovely to open the shutters and admire the stunning view. Breakfast was served in a lovely room, overlooking the port, delicious and plenty of variety. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, in a perfect location. Parking very good. There are stairs to your rooms, but if you want to stay in gorgeous buildings, in the old towns, you usually have stairs.

The location was excellent, close to all attractions and was in a quiet part of the town, the staff went out of their way to help and were very informative and friendly.

The only thing that I didn't like and I'm not trying to be picky, but the pillows were so flat and soft and gave no support which made sleeping uncomfortable.

The location was exceptional, breakfast was delicious - a selection of pastries, cheeses, meat, bread, juices, coffee and fruit. the staff were friendly, helpful and provided great recommendations. My room was clean and comfortable.

The property doesn’t have a lift, so travellers with limited mobility or heavy luggage should be aware that the rooms are located upstairs.

Location was great and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the third floor and the place doesn't have an elevator. The place was clean, but some areas like below the wardrobe and other furniture were full of dust.

The hotel is in an historic building with a lot of old world charm. They were great to accommodate check in and out times. and let us stow our bags after check out. Breakfast was plentiful. We stayed in the romantic suite. After all the stairs, you were rewarded with a port view terrace, and a very romantic room. The bathroom has been nicely updated. My husband is strong, so carrying the bags up all the stairs worked for us. But could be hard for someone with mobility issues.

The mattress was pretty flimsy and squeaky.

Host Simona and especially her assistant Laura were super helpful and welcoming. The terrace view pictures are from their top floor suite which has a lovely comfortable bed and stunning views. Breakfast was lovely and offered a great selection of Sicilian specialties.

The location was excellent with views across the harbour. The accommodation was authentic Italian in style and fit out. It was not easy for us to find but the staff went the extra mile to be helpful in that regard. Breakfast was beautifully presented with a wide selection of options to choose from.
