I really liked the place and especially staff. They are wonderful people. I stayed in the hotel for a week and I felt if I were at home. I also appreciate for the staff making effort to speak in a different language apart of Italian and making conversation with guests. Location was also good. Just beside the train station and also not far away from the Ortigia where you can find beautiful places to visit, nice pathways to walk, restaurants and a great night life. I am highly recommend Como hotel for everyone.

There is nothing that I didn't like about the Como hotel.

The Hotel Como is perfectly located outside Siracusa's railway station and is half way between the two areas where the main tourist attractions are located (the archaeological museum and park to the north and the Island of Ortigia to the south). There are plenty of options for eating nearby. The reception is open all throughout the day and until 11PM at night, which made checking in and out easy. Overall it was excellent value for money.

The room, though adequate, was quite small, the breakfast was very basic and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Super location, 25 meters across from Siracusa Centrale, around the corner from the inter-city and local buses, and walkable if you like to Ortigia, to the interesting archaelogical park, and to Basilica Santa Lucia al Sepolcro to enjoy the Caravaggio masterpiece of the burial of Santa Lucia. Please note: Chiesa Santa Lucia alla Badia near the Duomo has only a reproduction of this painting. Good, clean, comfy accommodation. Helpful, willing staff, although without much English. Quite a nice breakfast. Was sold out both nights of my stay and was well-patronized by Italian guests. Highly recommended, in an enchanting city.

I had no disappointments.

Location was about 15-20minute walk to Syracuse Old Town which was good. Bed was very comfortable, shower was decent, air con unit seemed relatively new which was a definite plus in the heat we had! Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Right by the train station which was a plus for us as we were travelling Sicily by train.

Room was on the ground floor so quite noisy with guests coming and going, but I sleep with earplugs when away anyway due to general hotel/guest noise so it didn't bother me too much. Window opened on to what looked like a building site, so I didn't feel comfortable opening the curtains at all during my stay. If the noise of trains bothers you then it may not be for you, but I didn't notice them too late at night/early in the morning.

Arrival greeting, smiles and helpfulness of staff was fantastic Able to leave our bags there and visit the area as arrived early morning and bags had been kindly taken to our rooms while we were out, then also left bags at reception upon checkout till ready to leave, sat for a rest at reception after morning sightseeing before catching the bus and was served a coffee with a smile while resting Great room, window facing station, very clean modern and quiet, great nights sleep and very good breakfast of flaky croissants bread cheese or jams, juice, cereal and coffee. Very lovely friendly family run hotel. Easy to get to arriving or leaving by train or bus, such a short walk if dragging a case. Easy walk to Ortigia and all the sights. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.

Nothing it was great only thing is Slightly lumpy pillows but am very fussy when it comes to pillows

Friendly hosts that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Room was big and very clean, bathroom was spacious and spotless. Perfect location just across the street from the train station, yet very quiet and cozy. Interbus bus stop to Catania and the airport is literally just over 100 meters away. Freshly baked croissants for breakfast were awesome. It was all a very positive experience for us, thank you.

Everything was great. Be prepared that the hosts speak little English but this was too insignificant, especially considering how kind and responsive they are when you understand each other eventually.

The apartment was very nice, cozy and well equipped. It was great value for the money we payed. For the breakfast you have just sweet option, but croissants are fresh baked. You can also get good coffee, some sweet spreads for croissants and cereals. Good position to visit Ragusa Ibla by a walk. Good location to visit archeological park, too.

It is hard to find parking infront of the building, the surrouding is very loud, because the hotel is next to the train station ... at night you can feel how the building is shaking when train pases by.

Nice little hotel right across from Syracuse train station. We were given a fairly large room overlooking the backyard, where it was quiet (windows facing the station are more problematic in terms of noise due to traffic). Internet is fast, rooms are big.

Breakfast - croissant and coffee or tea. If you are expecting a selection of salads and hot dishes, then you will be disappointed. There are no kettles in the rooms. It is noteworthy that there is a kettle at the reception, but we were refused, explaining that "the owner did not allow kettles to be provided to guests." The last fact with the kettle spoiled our impression of the hotel a little, especially since our child was coughing and he needed hot tea before bed.
