Loved this hotel. It’s the staff that makes it so special. Arshan is lovely at reception he is so helpful and friendly with everything I needed. Rana at breakfast was the happiest person I’ve ever met in my life so early in the morning,it made each day such a lovely start. Both staff really deserve a pay rise or a special award. The room is sparkling clean by housekeeping. The hotel itself is in the best location,particularly if you have a room with seaview balcony, listening to the sound of the ocean waves going to sleep and waking up is magical. The place to get into the sea is only one minute walk as well where you will see beautiful sunrise and sunset and swim.

Location is excellent. Air condition excellent. Receptionist I forgot his name is very well educated and takes care of all the clients. Very professional. Lady upstairs who handles the breakfast has the loveliest smile ever. Breakfast is excellent as well. Bathroom is clean and its of a really good size. I loved this hotel.

Maybe for the price you pay, the could give you the drink in fridge as complimentary. For 2 cans of small coke I was charged 7 euros.

Ortigia is a beautiful little town and Hotel Livingston is in a perfect location. Our room was very comfortable and had a BEAUTIFUL view of the sea. You don't see the sunset from this side but can enjoy the beautiful sunrise if you're a morning person! The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood right next to a popular swimming spot where all the locals come. There are plenty of delicious breakfast options laid out daily and the host is very pleasant.

the hotel is located in Ortigia, the most beautiful area of Siracusa, on a corner, right across from the sea. The hotel breakfast was far better than what I see offered at other Italian hotels- it had scrambled eggs and bacon on the buffet, which is unusual and made me very happy! the hotel staff, in particular, Francesca, was the nicest, most helpful, accommodating front office person- a real gem!!!! I will definitely return to Hotel Livingston- all the wonderful restaurants and shops and points of interest were within easy walking distance.

The Livingston hotel is beautiful, it is supremely quiet, and is in a very good location. It offers a great, extensive breakfast in the roof level seating area. It’s very clean, there’s a nice elevator, and the staff are very helpful. The valet parking worked flawlessly, just drive to the hotel, they take your license plate, so you don’t have problems with the ZTL. very simple and reasonable. Will definitely stay there again.

The tv did not have any English language news channels. The Wi-Fi internet was slow and sometimes not working. We checked out early (06:00) and the credit card system was not working and we had to write our cc number on the reservation to be processed later. Two cards were tried and both did not work; however, the cards worked several hours later during our travel.

breakfast food was not available! eggs plater was empty and not refilled as well as the rest of the breakfast table items. no refills even though we’re early! Poor selection of fresh fruit, poor quality as brown spot were on apples. Furniture in the front hall /lobby NEEDS to be replaced!!!! when you sit on it, there’s no support as the furniture is very old. it doesn’t feel welcoming. I noticed other guests feeling the same.

Nice location along the shore and close to the centre of Ortigia, it's an old-fashioned classic al hotel with nice rooms and a great ter race on the roof. The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind. We managed to park the car right behind the hotel, but you need to be Lucky to find a spot.

The whole building could use some updates, but for one night it was still great.

The hotel took us by surprise, Francesca and her colleagues were unbelievably helpful, nothing was a problem, the girl herself is a Trojan. The hotel is the best placed hotel in Siracusa, we looked down at the best swimming spot there is. I would come back for the hotel and where is it, but the staff, best ever! Thank you

Shower was a bit cool the first day, but they quickly rectified it

The front desk lady, Francesca (hope I spelled it right) is very nice and friendly. I checked out after 11am (which is past the breakfast time), and she took me to the dining hall for a big breakfast. I’m surprised because it doesn’t usually happen. Very warming. The location is good with a great sea view and close to the Island center. In all a good stay.
