We were welcomed by a really friendly receptionist Ms Lia, who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant - she organized taxi from the train station, enabled us to check-in earlier, gave us useful tips of interesting locations on city map, recommended restaurants... During the whole stay, she checked in on us regularly, helped with rent-a-car registration etc. The B&B itself is renovated, clean and fresh, with spacious rooms, good for a longer stay. Location is amazing, in the centre of Ortigia island, within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, city beaches, fish market... Wi-Fi is very good, AC as well. The coffee machine in the room is definitely s big plus, with complimentary coffee being restock daily.

The staff at the front desk was exceptionally friendly, efficient and offered excellent recommendations for our family. Her suggestion of visiting the seasonal butterfly house was fantastic and became the kids' highlight of the trip. Much to our surprise we had a small balcony with our room. It gave our children some extra room to burn energy earlier in the evening and gave the adults a lovely retreat later in the evening. The entire room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house and not simply in a nice hotel. Also using a valet for the car was worth every penny!

We only spent one night in Syracuse, and we decided to book Dimore delle Zagare Ortigia, which turned out to be the perfect choice. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and we were fortunate to be upgraded to a larger room. The car service was also convenient, allowing us to avoid the hassle of finding parking, as parking spaces are quite limited in the area. We enjoyed our stay, and the accommodation was situated in a fantastic location. We were able to stroll around and discover charming little bars and numerous restaurants just a few meters away from the hotel.

Very nice room and great air conditioning, which was needed as we were there in a particularly hot spell. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. Very helpful and super friendly staff in reception.

Everything about the property was great, however we did hear a very noisy family with loud kids thundering up the stairs at 1am in the morning. This happened 2 days in a row.

The staff was fabulous. They ensured we got to the hotel and a valet took our car to secure parking. They also called a reliable driver to take us into Syracuse proper to visit the archeological museum and site. They also checked on our progress and sent a tuk-tuk to bring us back to the hotel.

We loved the property. It is in the old part of Ortiga near the Jewish quarter -so access would have been tricky without the staff’s personal touch.

We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to explore the area. The location was perfect, quiet but very close and easy to get to everything. The rooms were comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities which was great. You can get in using a key box which meant we could drop our bag into our room. The staff were very very helpful and friendly.

A great hotel in the centre of Ortigia. The staff were friendly even from when we booked before the trip, they communicated with us via WhatsApp and helped us organise car parking. They were very informative on the local area. The locations is central to explore Ortigia. The rooms are spacious and clean and having a balcony was an added bonus

The location is brilliant, junior suite with private terrace is perfect for breakfast or late afternoon rest outside, spotless room, very quiet. The front office staff are delightful and extremely helpful. They were responsive to questions before we arrived, arranged taxis, recommended restaurants and reservations for us.

If you’re sensitive to smells, ask them not to spray scent in your room when they clean. It’s a very strong smell.

The setting was perfect and the staff especially Lia were wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and assisted us with where to eat. This location is absolutely the best. We would highly recommend this extra clean, wonderful setting with the best support you could have. this stay made our vacation the best.

Walking distance to everything the island has to offer (shopping … restaurants … boat tours … and historical landmarks)

Although there are parking arrangements available… (contracted valet service ) it’s going to run you 25 euros a day … a little steep in my opinion … and you have to give them 1 hour notice for pickup or delivery. We loved the location so much we dealt with this minor inconvenience.
