Excellent Room. Newly Renovated and modern. comfortable bed and nice shower. Lake view was gorgeous. Included breakfast was great with a fantastic view of the lake. A bottle of spring water provided complimentary in the room. Yes, we would definitely be coming back here in the future.

Everything about the room was great. It is on an island so you have to plan your ferry crossing. The good news is there are many ferries per day and I believe there is water taxi service to the island also. There is no kitchen or fridge. It is a hotel room.

What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

The hotel dinners were expensive for my budget, but my parents graciously treated me (with wine, drinks, and more)! There are also limited options for other night meals on the island. Everything closes up early, so be prepared. If you want to explore other islands and the mainland, you will need to depend on the ferry schedule and prices, or book expensive smaller boats.

Three notable aspects: the warmth and friendliness of nearly all the staff (it would be all the team if the maître’d would smile occasionally!); the cleanliness of our room and the hotel generally; and the excellence of the restaurant. We were a early arriving, but Cristina could not have been more helpful and charming in settling us in with a few drinks while we waited for our room to be ready. We were lucky to have the room with a large terrace that offered spectacular views over the lakeside and the chance to relax. But perhaps the jewel in the crown was the hotel’s superb restaurant. The menu and wine list offer a good range of beautifully cooked and presented courses, and it was a treat to work our way through the choice of home-made deserts. The wines were excellent and fairly priced, and the service impeccable.

A small but important improvement would be the designation of a bar area for the exclusive use of hotel guests.

The hotel more than fulfilled our expectations. Price-performance ratio is right. We definitely recommend booking a room with lake view. The extra charge is definitely worth it. The view of the lake at sunrise in the morning is priceless. A very special stay in a very romantic place. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. Cosmetic products in the bathroom were from l'Occitane.

Unfortunately, we were woken up every morning by the sound of the rubbish boat. The breakfast was okay, but could have a better selection.

Location on Isola dei Pescatori was perfect. We were concerned about “isolation feeling” at night, but we really enjoyed that part of it. Included breakfast every morning was great. Lots of choice. Great view from our room. Daily room cleaning, towel replacement, a treat in the “post COVID” era…many hotels no longer offer this service.

Dining room staff tried too hard playing the “fine dining” role. More relaxed staff and friendlier service would have made the experience better. The lock on our room presented problems from the start to the end of our 3 night stay, made all the more challenging by the lack of lighting in the hallways. Management suggested there was no problem with the lock, but that we didn’t understand how to “turn the key” properly. Have patience if you are in Room 203.

Nice room at the side of the hotel that still overlooked the lake. Lovely bedding, toiletries and shower/bathroom. Nicely decorated. Late checkout 11am as standard and we were able to leave our bags while we wandered around the small island. Dog friendly. Wonderful breakfast.

A small fridge or wine cooler would have been nice as when we stayed there was a big party on and we would have felt a bit intrusive having drinks downstairs. We weren’t told about the additional 20 euro charge for our small dog until after booking the non-returnable fee for the room . This should be more clear so we can take that into account before confirming our stay.

I have stayed here many times and love the position, on the lake, magical and beautiful. the rooms are lovely, clean and fresh, the lake views are spectacular. Breakfast was good and fresh. It is a very special hotel but it is better if you are an independent traveller.

The beds were not very comfy, (I think maybe they have new beds) but the room was gorgeous. There is no service tea, coffee or drinks service ( kettle in the room with tea and coffee) until dinner time. I wanted to come back later in the summer to a specific room. I established it was free for 5 nights and had to book in writing by email at the reception desk. I was disappointed two days later on my return home, to be told I had to reconfirm at the end of June, as it was suddenly on hold for someone else! It is easier to just book with Bookings as the hotel is tricky to book directly with!

Beatiful location on an individual island in the middle of the lake. Dinner is extremely delicious with a panoramic view to the lake.

It was hard to start earlier than 8:00 a.m. From the island because the first ferry starts only at 7:50, not before and the private boat is extremely expensive. In hotel reservation it was written that hotel can provide private boat on a reasonable price but 150 EUR for me is not a reasonable price. For us our flight departure was 11:30 from Bergamo so finally we chose the ferry but it was very risky and almost missed the flight.

My evening meal at the restaurant was EXCELLENT! I was especially thankful for the ability to text back and forth when my airline connections had me missing a connecting flight and getting me to Isola Pescatori in the dark. Yet the wonderful staff found me a boat to pick me up after all of the public transportation had quit for the evening. Thank you again, Belvedere!

The hotel is lovely set on the island it’s like you have dropped into a movie set, views day and night to die for. Breakfast was ok, nice setting, a little limited in choices. Room was lovely with a huge terrace and spectacular views. Receptionist (Maria I think) was delightful. Great swimming directly outside the hotel. Bathroom was lovely and spacious.

Male staff at the restaurant were stuffy and unfriendly, especially the Maitre d’ who could have made the 3 dinners we had there more pleasant had he have not been huffing about and more personable to the hotel guests who were paying to eat there. (the ladies were nicer.) Restaurant menu was quite limited and didn’t change. You are limited to only a few restaurants open for dinner on the island and the food at the hotel’ restaurant was expensive and lacked choice. Also didn’t like that the hotel were unhelpful with boat transfers, they should provide their own transfer, it was really difficult to get information from them about alternatives etc, let alone day trips we could do.
