An exceptional accommodation right in the heart of the most popular town on Lake Maggiore. Right next to the local supermarket and a few steps away from the main square with buzzing restaurants and shops. However, when in the accommodation it was not noisy and we could sit on the balcony in relative peace and quiet. When we wanted to go for a drink or a meal we did not have to walk far. The accommodation was first class. We booked the largest of the apartments and it was all new and modern. Two separate bedrooms with 3 separate balconies and the main bedroom had a massive double bed which was very comfortable. A lounge/kitchen was a welcome addition with all the facilities needed of we wanted to cook something. A shared patio area on the first floor added to the brilliant facilities with a BBQ we could use, large table and chairs and a set of loungers to lie on. There is a shared hot tub to use as well. Susy could not be any more accommodating if she tried, making us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. She provided us with recommendations for restaurants and other attractions and was happy to answer my questions about excursions. Air con was lovely and in both bedrooms and the lounge. We enjoyed ever minute of our stay here and would 100% chose this exact accommodation if we were to visit again.

I could not name anything. Everything was perfect.

Susy, the host, was awesome. She was prompt in meeting us to move in, explaining the property, providing us with a grocery discount card for the grocery literally, right next door, (GREAT LOCATION) and restaurant recommendations. I felt secure in the building as a code is required to enter. What else did we like? Elevator, Cleanliness, technology, located close to bank, restaurants, shops, church, ferry and bus station. What else could you ask for? I would definitely come back to Casa Diverio for another stay in Stresa. We had an apartment with a balcony which brought us closer to the neighborhood.

It is not a dislike, but would have liked to have had a couple more rolls of toilet paper. We bought more at the grocery.

Susie, our host was fantastic...so friendly and helpful. And the apartment was really great, spacious clean and in an excellent location. So convenient to have the supermarket next door too. Thanks Susie!

If you're taking a boat tour of the 3 Islands (which is definitely worth doing), we strongly recommend buying tickets with the public boat service. We thought we were doing that but it was a private boat company...lots of waiting around, boat gets full up, told another one coming in 10 mins, 30 minutes later still not on a boat!

Very reasonably priced. Friendly landlady who goes out of her way to help. Air conditioning. Rooms are provided with a 10% discount card for the grocery store downstairs. Refrigerator, stove and dishwasher in the room. Private balcony, as well as a common terrace with Jacuzzi. 15 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the boat dock.

Keep in mind this is a guest apartment and not a hotel, so there is no 24 hour reception, no breakfast, no room service, etc. if you don’t need these things, you should be fine.

Excellent location (right in the middle of the center of Stresa), big apartment with all equipment needed. Easy to access with elevator to get to the room. We stayed with our 1 and 1/2 y.o kid: a baby bed was carefuly prepared as well as a high chair, thank you so much for the attention. A Carrefour Market is right next to the entrance, so this is perfect to purchase groceries last minute. Would definitely recommend Casa Diverio!!

Parking your car in Stresa can get a little tricky in the high season

Great central location in city centre close to restaurants, bars and shops, and next door to supermarket for supplies. Although centrally located just far enough away not to be noisy in evening. Few mins walk to lake and ferry terminal for trips to islands which is a must! Balcony overlooking street and roof top area with seating for drinking, eating and chilling with jacuzzi. Host Suzy is very friendly, helpful and efficient with good local info ne recommendations.

Parking can be tricky, but once you find a space you do not need a car unless going further afield. Free parking close by and on lake front, but this is pay parking.

My wife and I escaped to Stresa for 2 x nights and we were so happy to have found Casa Diverio - we had a 1 bedroom studio self catering apartment that was perfect in everyway - the location couldn't be any better to experience all that Stresa has to offer. Spotless room with ALL you could need for relaxing to cooking and with very nice toiletries provided too! Susy gave many great recommendation's for restaurants in Stresa (La Stresa was incredible) along with a 10% Discount Card for the supermarket that is located right next door! We will definitely be headed back next time. Wonderful find!

That we couldn't stay longer

The apartment is located in a very central position so easy to walk everywhere. Suzy was fantastic ... quick to respond to emails, happy to provide great advice ... and even drove us to the railway station on our last day! The apartment was very roomy and comfortable and had air conditioning. The spa on the terrace was wonderful at the end of a hot day. We can't recommend this apartment highly enough. Brilliant!

Fabulous apartment in a very central location to town square, local shops and restaurant's. The Ferry terminal and bus services are within a 2 minute walk, the train station is also very central. We were greeted by a very warm and friendly lady by the name of Suzie who gave us plenty of information about the area, with names of places to eat and visit during out stay. I would recommend for anyone traveling to Stresa to seriously consider staying here.

Very nice studio apartment with cooking facilities and well-equipped en-suite; located above supermarket and within a few minutes walk of the main square and harbour. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. External roof terrace with jacuzzi. Hostess Susy couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

Some occasional noise from street below early morning and at night but closing windows and using air-con solved the problem
