Hotel Condor

The hotel Condor was a lovely traditional hotel. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. The location was great just off the main shopping street. Continental breakfast 5 stars both food, chef and waiting staff were lovely also the beautiful view just made our stay. Very clean. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a great value for money stay.

Although we paid extra for a sea view we were on the bottom floor, we did have a sea view however the flat roof underneath the balcony was an eye sore. We would have much preferred to be higher up or not directly above the flat roof. We would request a higher up room if we were to stay again.

The location is great, just outside the city walls near Arco dei Cappuccini. A little bit of a climb up to the hotel, but not far at all (250 meters) from the Arco. It’s down a flight of stairs to the lobby, but there is an elevator right in the lobby. The view from the rooftop terrace and many of the rooms is great. Very comfortable, pleasant place. Good breakfast.

Nothing. Very pleasant and easy to be there. Watch your step in the shower and bathroom— the footing can be a bit tricky, but not too scary if you are aware of it.

Short walk from the Main Street, great aircon, lovely terrace with amazing breakfast and lovely staff who gave great recommendations! The hotel have a cheap deal with la dolce vita beach club which includes transport to and from and a beach bed all day on mazzeo beach.

I got a free upgrade to the apartment for most of my stay. It was large, peaceful with a lovely big balcony with a view towards the sea. The WiFi was excellent for the two days I had to work indoors, though I didn't test it with a video call. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful. I had the hotel breakfast once and there was a wide variety of food, savoury and sweet and all very tasty.

The apartment could use a little TLC and repairs. Nothing that troubled me, but I might have been concerned had I paid full price. The one night I stayed in the hotel proper was also a little noisy at times, which made me very glad for the upgrade.

Place was lovely! Room beautiful spacious and sparkling clean. The front desk associates were kind, professional and very helpful. They provided map and local restaurant recommendations that we found to be spot on. The breakfast superb! Lots of choices, cooked and raw fresh veggies, cappuccini, baked goods,etc. The server at breakfast was very kind and attentive to any requests. I know we will be back next year! They have a posted sign to book direct and save money. We will try that next year. Thanks Hotel Condor for a wonderful 2 day stay.

Everything perfect!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Hotel Condor from the moment we arrived, The Hotel accommodation had a perfect blend of traditional architecture and modern comforts. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean and well-maintained. The hotel's staff were very warm and welcoming, and a special credit to Sarah who went out of her way each morning, to treat us to a spread of local delicacies, fresh pastries, and aromatic coffee, all served on the charming terrace with amazing views of Taormina. The location was ideal, just steps away from Taromina most iconic sights. We can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return.

We had a lovely room with two sliding glass doors each with a different view, one with a small balcony with a lovely sea view. The room was not big but had everything we needed and the bathroom and shower were great. Breakfast was divine served on the upper outdoor terrace with all of the European meats, cheeses, croissants, new cake selections everyday and fresh fruit. There was a lovely Nonna preparing the breakfast and she made the best Bruschetta I have ever enjoyed. She also made a tempura style eggplant and zucchini which was delicious. It is a family hotel and all of the staff are amazing and so very helpful with all of your questions and requests. The location is not in the heart of the town but an easy walk and away from the town hectic scene and an easy walk to the bus station.

The parking fee is steep but the staff do take your car and park it for you which is a bonus as driving in Taormina is not pleasant.

The room was very well appointed and comfortable with a bar fridge Excellent. bathroom and shower. Loved the small balcony with table and chairs. This is a family-owned small hotel and the staff took great care of us and helped us with parking.

The instructions to get to the hotel could be improved. Once off the highway and through the toll booth at Taormina, put 'Porta Messina" in your GPS. When you reach the Porta, turn RIGHT up the hill and then a very sharp right through a stone archway about 20 meters after passing Porta Messina, then follow the road around and stay LEFT at the fork in the road, continuing uphill. The hotel is on your left.

Wonderful experience! We arrived really late, around 1:30am and the staff was super professional and welcomed us. They even park the car for you. On the day of the checkout we asked if it’s possible to take our car later the same day(after check out time) and again we had no problems, they drove the car back to the hotel entrance. View from the room and the terrace was amazing!

A bit pricey especially the parking that is €18 per day but at the end it’s worth it.
