Unique location with direct beach access. Very comfortable accommodations (comfy beds and spacious suite with balcony) facing the sea. Excellent food. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Complimentary boat outing was a lovely and unexpected perk - as swimming in the Ionian Sea may be among the most delightful swimming experiences anywhere on the globe!

Due to its seaside location, the hotel is significantly smaller than its sister property. It is also prone to mold - as this odor can be detected in isolated corners where guests are not expected to venture. The hotel should pay extra special attention to this.

The hotel has lovely views over the water and has particularly beautiful gardens, which are very peaceful. It is easy to get into Taormina old town either on the free shuttle bus or by the cable car which is directly opposite the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is a traditional old villa with extra rooms built in a separate block immediately next to the main house.

The first room we were offered was little more than a cupboard just off the reception area. In fairness when they saw how disappointed we were the staff immediately moved us to a very nice room with sea view and balcony. The restaurant was only averagely good but very pricey and the wine list was seriously overpriced. Also beware: there are stairs everywhere so it is not a suitable place for anyone with mobility issues.

Absolutely stunning setting. Well maintained property with beautiful grounds. Little touches to welcome us and bid us goodbye. The beach and pool are both lovely. Service was consistently excellent. A little boat trip was included and was a lovely thing to do. We booked an Ape tour through the hotel and it was great fun. As a woman with long hair I also appreciated the top class hair dryer in the hotel room!

Pretty expensive hotel, but you do know what you’re getting yourself in for and the service is truly exceptional.

The food, facilities and the view were amazing but probably the service was beyond expectations. Every member of the staff was very friendly, professional, helpful and thoughtful. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and as a surprise they sent us a very nice cake to our room so that we could blow her candles and similar at the dinner in their restaurant that evening, without any of us telling or organizing anything. It was so thoughtful! We went there also with a 8 month old baby and they were so helpful and nice to us as a young family. Just can’t recommend it enough!! A must stay in Taormina!

An amazing location. Our junior suite had beautiful sea views and was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Loved the pool and beach. The staff were helpful and the food was fantastic.

The property itself is beautiful - so lush and gorgeous. The private beach location was perfect for a hot July. It's about 15 minutes from town, but the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from (or you can take the cable cars). Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect.

Beach is nor sand but pebble rocks. Everything else is fantastic.

The hotel is secluded, private away from the crowd. It has everything, pool, garden, beach, restaurant, creche, wellness centre, salon, scenic view. The hotel staff (Guiseppe, Guilia, all of them) is very accommodating and helpful (but not overdoing it). We stayed for 3 days and we wished to stay for more days but have to fly back home. My kids were very happy too as they received welcome gifts from the hotel! We were upgraded to a suite with sea view, which we really appreciated. The service is impeccable! Room is always clean, mini pastries/ fruits are being served even while we are at infinite heated pool or at the sea side. Breakfast is top notch! This hotel is a real five star hotel! We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this hotel. The value for money is all worth it!
