Le Terazze is a great place to be if you want to visit Chianti. The location is perfect, in the center of a small village. There is also a safe public parking lot ca. 100m away. If you want to visit the wineries or other cities you will definitely need a car. The rooms and the accommodation in general are very authentic and special and full of history. The terrace is amazing and is even much more beautiful then in the photos, you can use it all day and also in the evening and enjoy a wine or the great homemade Italian breakfast which was fresh and very delicious! The cakes and the coffee were outstanding. The hosts are very nice, friendly and intelligent people, who are always willing to help out or give tips for your stay in Chianti. They also have a wonderful dog which made our stay even better :) Thank you very much for everything!

We stayed in "Soffita" which is a large high ceilinged room at the top of the house with great views over the valley. The weather was miserable the day we arrived and Paulo had a fire going in the woodburner in our room which was a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable with pristine crisp white bed linen which was changed every 3 days. Breakfast was amazing - buffet style with different homemade savoury and sweet treats every day. The terrace was lovely and we would have chosen to eat there in the evenings if the weather had been better

Vale and Paola have an amazing bed and breakfast, we could not have asked for a better experience and our stay with them was the highlight of our trip go Tuscany. The bed and breakfast has a terrace with amazing views of the Tuscan hills, especially during sunset. The rooms are extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was prepared fresh each day with lots of options to chose from and delicious cappuccinos. They also offer cooking classes at the b&b (we did tiramisu with Vale and had a blast!) The hosts were so warm and welcoming we felt like we were part of the family for the week! They also helped us arrange our itinerary with recommendations for the few days we were with them. We will definitely be back and recommend Le Terrazze to anyone looking to visit Chianti / Tuscany All the best from Anna, Karen and Renee

Terrace was beautiful and dog Sara was so cute! Breakfast was fantastic - beautiful homemade yoghurt, cakes, local honey. Staff were very friendly too.

Nothing really. No washing machine, but laundromat a 10 min drive away. No aircon, so if it was hotter may have been a problem. Was 28-30° when we stayed and was fine with the ceiling fan.

The location itself was amazing, expect a quiet town with beautiful landscapes and scenery. The B&B was positioned beautifully, overlooking the small hills, valleys, and big open spaces. The terrace was meticulously curated and a great spot for pictures and to relax. The breakfast was delicious, with many options, even some local treats. The host was gracious, kind, and gave us a warm welcome and goodbye. I would recommend this place if you appreciate a quiet stay accompanied with beautiful landscapes.

Fabulous experience. Great location in old town, spacious room onto small square hosting 2 restaurants. Great location too for 1/ accessing towns like Firenze, Siena etc; and 2/ for running through countryside. Breakfast excellent, food and superb location on roof terrace out back. Hosts both first class. San Donato a charming wee town. Locals, Bar Poggio, the butcher etc. And heap of history.

The view from the terrace was amazing! The photos don't do it justice, and the room was very cute with details that make it feel like a home. Our room, La Collina, came with a wood fire stove that made the room very romantic. The owners Paolo and Valeria went above and beyond to help make our stay special. They told us about the area and recommended different outings (Castello di Verrazzano was our favorite) and they even prepared a picnic for us and gave us directions to a nice picnic spot nearby, if we ever return to tuscany we will be staying here again!

We stayed one night, the B&B was wonderful, we loved the thoughtfully decorated bedroom, lounge and breakfast room. The terrace had incredible views of Chianti. It was extremely clean and well looked after and the hosts were very kind. We had everything we needed and wished we could have stayed longer.

The bedroom had a ceiling fan which I’m sure is adequate generally, but it was a particularly hot time of year and we’d have been more comfortable with A/C, however everything else was so perfect it didn’t impact our enjoyment of the stay.

The location was set in a beautiful typical Tuscan village, the house is amazing and you can tell that each detail is well-thought. The breakfast was delicious and most of the meals were homemade. The owners, Paolo and Valeria, were so nice and made us feel at home.

This little family owned b&b was absolutely amazing. Our group of friends stayed for 2 nights. We loved the location and the view on the terrance was spectacular. Breakfast was very good and owners super friendly. Would recommend this place to everyone!
