I like that this BnB is in a building that is about 600 years old, and the owner was born here, and has lived her entire life here (she is a very sweet lady). The rooms are nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom that has a large bathtub, a large sink, but the shower was a bit small for my liking. Thanks to Mary for preparing a wonderful breakfast each morning of our stay!

Shower size, and parking was a good walk away, keep in mind that you are in a very old hill town in Tuscany.

The palazzo is located in a charming village, it is small but quiet and beautiful and has a pharmacy, ATM, 2 main restaurants, a kids playground and possibility of free parking. Views around of the Tuscan countryside are stunning. The hotel itself is very authentic, we feel welcomed almost like part of the family. Maria was very helpful when I was sick for a few days. Breakfast was very complete and good. It is a great place to cruise around the Chianti region, i highly recommend!

Nothing related to the hotel. The restaurants downstairs are of ok quality but don’t expect amazing food despite the 4.5 reviews.

Exactly as shown in the photos; a lovely historic building, converted with great taste into a b&b, lovely hosts, great breakfast, super comfy bed, amazing view from the room / balcony and location is unbeatable to explore the chianti area as well as to go into Florence or Siena for the day.

I have never stayed anywhere like this before. The buildings were built in the 15th century and have been restored beautifully. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was delicious (high quality ham and eggs, omelettes, crepes, fruit and croissants). This is not a normal hotel stay, everything felt like quality and beautifully Italian. Would highly recommend to anybody

Beautiful family house with a very comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect for those who want to visit others cities.

Everything exceeded all of my expectations. San Donato in Poggio is so cute, it’s the perfect location in Tuscany. The room was huge and extremely nice and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. My partner and I truly loved staying here! The breakfast was also great!

The history, cleanliness, spacious, personal touch and the location to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca for day trips! Highly recommend! Staff was so responsive and accommodating 🩷🩷🩷 Wonderful experience

Loved this place and it's location in San Donato is fantastic. San Donato itself is a lovely small town within reach of everything you want to see around the Chianti area. 2 nice restaurants and great small shops, best butchers for Tuscan meats and salamis. Valeria was very helpful as were all the other staff at this property.

Back in Germany we realized again how special our trip to Tuscany has been. This is mainly due to our stay in wonderful Malaspina B&B. The B&B is family owned and run with gorgeous rooms, excellent food (i.e. self baked cake every day) and now wonder- perfect Coffee. Located in the unique village San Donnato you will have the perfect tuscan experience. In 30 minute driving distance you will reach Florence, Sienna, St Gimignano as well as beautiful tuscan villages as Castello Volpaia. Grazie mille, Maria!
