The location was great, close to the most important sights of Tivoli but far enough from the traffic. It took only a 15 minute walk to reach anything we wanted. Our room had a stunning view onto the valley to the west, it was spacious and silent.

Parking was a nightmare without preparing a lot of coins ahead of time. There were no free parking spots and paying by card was impossible. We took the spa room but after filling up the bathtub we noticed that it was actually quite dirty while everything else was clean. The cot provided by the property had one side open and it was impossible to close it up because the zipper was broken so we couldn't put our baby in there. It wasn't a big issue for us but there was no elevator.

Il Giardino is excellent. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast with juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt and fresh scrambled egg to order on request. Great friendly staff. Located within 5 minute walk of Tivoli sites and great restaurants.

There is no hotel parking other than parking on the street if available. However, there is a public parking garage within a 5 minute walk that was reasonably priced and safe.

The location is close to the center, outside the ZTL, which is convenient for those traveling by car. It was possible to find free parking on the street. Nice breakfast compared to the average for a B&B. Tasteful, minimalist bedroom.

The host was nice, but we could notice that he is overwhelmed. When we got back for the departure to get our luggage, nobody answered the bell, neither the cell phone that was on the door. If it hadn't been for some guests who came in, we would have continued to wait, and after entering, and I had to knock on the breakfast room window for the girl to hear me and open the door...

Once we found Il Giardino and managed to get parked the rooms were tranquil and there was a good cold breakfast, The hotel was within walking distance of the town centre to visit the Villa Deste and Villa Gregoriana gardens.

Description of street parking available is stretching it a bit as there currently is no parking available at the hotel and there is meter parking on the street outside. However the owner is planning his own parking in the future. Villa Adriana is not within walking distance so you need to take the car and lose your parking spot.

Wonderful! We had a surprise upgrade to a huge and spotless apartment with wonderful views. The staff were lovely. Breakfast had extras like yogurt, fresh juice and a scrambled egg. Easy walk to Villa d’Este and town. Paid parking outside between 8am and 5pm so remember to run out before 8am and buy a ticket!!

The atmosphere and vibe at Il Giardino is just lovely. It was conveniently located for getting downtown and around Tivoli on foot. We happened to get a nearby on-street parking spot which made things even easier.

It was a bit too warm in our room, and we didn't figure out how to adjust the temperature (apart from opening the window...onto an adorable balcony, by the way). We also did not ask for instructions, so I cannot say that the staff was not helpful... we were just lazy (or too tired!).

I loved this lovely hotel. Wonderful location within walking distance to everywhere. Street parking was not a problem and you only pay from 8:00 to 17:00 at the meter, free overnight so run about $20 per day. The breakfast was fantastic, and served in a nice room with an outside courtyard. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely stay in Tivoli. Delicious breakfast and helpful staff go above and beyond. Super quiet residential area but plenty to do including shopping, eating and Villa de’este a short walk away. Nearby bus stop takes you to Rome or walk to train station for commuter train.

Very convenient to Palace D’Este and it’s gardens. Proprietor was very helpful and kind. gave directions, assisted with our luggage and made a wonderful breakfast, including an omelet. The room was very new and modern. the parking is on the street in front and it is free but can be crowded. We parked 100 meters away so just be advised there is no private parking or garage. It was not a problem but we just wished we had known to be looking along the street in front of the B&B.

There was a small plumbing issue and owner was attentive to it.

I liked almost everything about Il Giardino. It clean and fresh-looking. The staff were wonderful and Vincenzo was especially helpful on my arrival date, as I arrived late at night. The location was perfect being just a short walk to the centre yet it was in a quiet area. The terrace area is relaxing to sit in.
