The staff, especially Giovanna(hope I speleed her name correct) , was exceptional—so friendly and attentive, meeting every request we had. They added a lovely touch by serving breakfast in the room and welcome snack, allowing us to enjoy the view. It was clear they genuinely cared about their guests. Our room was consistently cleaned, and we appreciated the convenient parking. The location is on a hillside in a charming little town called Scala, which added to the experience. We absolutely loved our stay there. I highly recommend this place!

Breakfast was wonderful. Served to the table, we had fresh pastries & cakes (made by mama) bread rolls and preserves were all ready and waiting. From the menu there were several options in particular, omelettes. Hot drinks, juices and bottled water were also available. Everything was fresh and just the right amount for the perfect start to the day. The dining view was just spectacular looking across the valley to Ravello.

There was absolutely nothing that could have been improved, we were blown away with every part of our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, the staff treated us like family, it was like going home every day and we didn’t want to leave.

This is a hotel worth staying in, facing the sea, with complete facilities and supplies, equivalent to a 4-star international hotel. Luisa and all the staff are very professional, warm and thoughtful. The free breakfast of the hotel is very rich and delicious, and there are free parking spaces. Luisa also introduced us in detail the nearby specialty restaurants and surrounding tourist routes, which is very considerate and professional. We like their excellent service very much and recommend this hotel to all friends who are looking for accommodation! Only after experiencing it will you know whether it is worth staying!

The hotel is an absolute gem. They take pride in calling themselves “the first hotel in Scala”. It’s a family run business with all the positives, they really make an effort to make you feel at home. Starting from the room, which although a little small, has everything you need for the stay and a balcony with the most amazing view over Ravello on the opposite hill, and partial view to the sea. We were given the option to have the breakfast in the room for no additional charge, or have it in the dining area close to the reception. We opted for the latter. The breakfast deserves a chapter of its own! Fresh pastries with fruit preserves, a separate menu for the omelette varieties on offer, cereals, muesli etc., in addition to fresh coffee, juices and a selection of still or sparkling water. Everything prepared on the spot, fresh and tasty. Luisa who managed the reception, send us a list of things to see, restaurants to dine in and the schedule of the bus. The property offers parking as opposed to many hotels in Amalfi, where parking is either reserved for the residents or excessively expensive. We’re definitely going there again!

On Booking.com the hotel is advertised as 1.8 miles from Amalfi. It might be 1.8 miles but up in the mountain. On a positive, there is parking and a bus running every 20ish minutes.

Exceptional location in Scala, out of the crowded touristy places of the costiera, beautiful view on Ravello and the sea from our terrace (deluxe room). Comfortable bed, good room size and a nice terrace. An excellent breakfast included. The staff of this family driven hotel is just wonderful, especially Stefano at the reception so friendly, helpful and useful in giving us a lot of information and tips for walking from the hotel without having to drive. Easy and free parking in front of the hotel, a must in the costiera Amalfitana area, (might be a bit more difficult in August?). Overall very good value for money for the 5- stars service accomodation . When we come back to visit the Amalfi coast, we would like to stay here again for sure.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Zi'ntonio and can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end! Luisa and Stefano went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and genuine hospitality. Luisa and Stefano were very attentive to all our needs and made us feel right at home. Their enthusiasm for hospitality governs every aspect of the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight of our mornings. The spread was not only delicious, but also varied, catering to everyone's tastes and preferences. Luisa and Stefano ensured that each guest felt special and well-cared for during their meal. Overall, our stay at the Hotel Zi'ntonio was excellent. We highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable and delightful experience on the Amalfi Coast. We didn't have many expectations on the hotel, but whatever they were, they were exceeded. Firstly, the staff were excellent, very welcoming and helped us to reach the hotel despite our lack of pre planning and were very efficient in their assistance. The hotel is on the edge of a superb and quiet village, but just a short walking from a larger town and buses proving access to and from Amalfi for a reasonable fee. The hotel itself was clean, immaculately kept and felt like a well run family business. We stayed here during our Honeymoon and this hotel certainly was a top mark during our trip, would highly recommend.

The host Luisa met us on arrival and we were given complimentary drink and snack as we checked in. Increadible attention to fine detail is noticeable by Luisa and her staff. The room was perfect for 2 of us and was clean, comfortable and equipped with some nice personal touches which was appreciated by us after a tough day. Luisa really made us feel welcome and relaxed and kept in touch during our stay to let us know interesting facts about the surrounding areas and generally enquire we were OK, that is a rare quality!!! Breakfast was great, a nice balcony view of the surrounding area with good choice of food, nothing was too much trouble. Sad to leave Will hopefully go back again soon

Giovanna and the staff at Hotel Zi’ntonio went above and beyond! We told them it was our honeymoon and they took Extra little thoughtful details to make sure our stay was unforgettable. Having the fresh breakfast each morning they prepare in their underrated restaurant (their dinner was phenomenal too) delivered and enjoyed off our balcony was a dream. The room was extremely clean and had hotel’s decor the perfect French vibe.

The buses were too full to pick us up so just make sure to get a taxi to get up the hill from main road up toward Ravello/ Scala. This is not the fault of the hotel but something to make other guest’s travels easier.

Tucked away in Scala with private balcony views of Ravello and nestled up on top of the city of Amalfi, this charming hotel is the best kept hidden gem in the region!Having stayed in busier cities on the coast before, we wanted a quieter, romantic option whilst still having close proximity to Amalfi and Positano which were just 30-40 minute drives away. The hotel oozed of old school Italian charm with spacious rooms and large balconies where the staff would bring us a large breakfast (and we were even able to workout out there!). You can dine in the restaurant which sources all its food from is own garden on the grounds and then take a walk across to Ravello (20 minutes) for an evening stroll in town. What we loved most was the incredible walk down from our street through old town Amalfi with tremendous views of mountain, sea, and sky. And LOTS of lemons. All the way down to the beach clubs. Though the views were incredible, we recommend doing this only once as waiting for the bus ride up is beyond chaotic during busy season. The staff are excellent and we genuinely would return to stay here again.
