Hotel Amadeus is excellent value for money and in a fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square and major sights of Turin. Our room had a large, comfy bed with crisp, white sheets, a powerful shower with plenty of hot water, a room safe and air conditioning. A self service breakfast was also included in the very reasonable room rate. From letting us check in to the rooms that were ready when we arrived before check in time to doing their best to find us rooms when our return flight was cancelled, the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The decor is dated, but you are there to see Turin not sit in your room and , given the excellent value and location, this is not an issue.

The location is close to the Mole Antonelliana. Though if you are arriving by train it will take about 20 minutes through busy streets to get to the hotel. Once there, we found the hotel very good. The breakfast was amazing for a three star (continental style) with coffee/tea served at your table. Nicely appointed room, though even in March the room was too warm (we hadn't turned the heating on and A/C appears not to work outside of the summer season). So we had to leave the window open all night and as it's on a busy road there was quite a lot of street/traffic noise. A decent size bathroom which was well appointed.

It's all about the location. I really liked that. What I did not like was that the staff was under a huge load of stress at breakfast time as all people came at the same time to the "breakfast room", but they handled that at the best they could. Props to them, as some of the other guests were... Not nice about it, to say the least.

The elevator is a small one, and the shower was pretty small as well. I had no space to place a big luggage in my room - But this is Italy, so everything is pretty clean despite the small spaces. You get what you pat for.

The staff were really great, so helpful, friendly and polite. They lent me a travel plug when I had the wrong type (Italy has two different types of plug). The breakfast was really good, a lot of choice and very filling. The hotel is in a great central location, only 8 mins from the Egyptian museum and very close to the historic part of the city. Lots of nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Mini fridge in the room was great to keep some groceries.

I was comfortable but I think that the room could do with a bit of a makeover.

the loft room was a bit claustrophobic, i did not know i would get one of those, but for one night it was ok. Much better then one would expect, as decor and clenliness, as said by other guests, completely agree. But i would avoid the rooms on the fifth fllor!

the modems by the entrance door, the noise from the lift, the lack of windows (only roof bays) - i like to look out, so i would suggest the reception advises if one of those is assigned.

The spacious room. Thankful for the cool temperature of the room. Thankful for the availability of a shower. Thankful that receptionists spoke English.

The poor lighting in the room & no windows. The smallness of the bathroom & shower stall. The distance to to the parking garage. 10/8-9 Second night with a friend in another room was awful. Air conditioning did not work. Refrigerator did not work - had to throw out food. Bathroom door squeeked very loudly & it was extremely difficult to adjust shower water temperature. It was either too hot or freezing cold.

The best possible location, lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and shops nearby. Decent room size, clean towels and bedsheets. Good coffee for breakfast. That would be all, but it was enough for us.

Very poor breakfast - lots of things, but mostly packed, with tons of sugar and tasteless. Really nothing healthy, except for natural yoghurt. Reception area closed early, nobody there in the morning. The rooms was dark and sad and old, but clean.

Very central location, easy walking distance to the main attractions in central Turin. Despite the central location the room was quiet and there were was no excessive noise from outside when trying to sleep. Room was spacious and both the WiFi and air conditioning worked well. The buffet breakfast was good given the room rate.

Lift is very small.

Very central location, the most helpful staff (think you Lucia for accommodating our addional guest at short notice). Excellent buffet breakfast. Loads of choice of cafes, restaurants etc and lots to see on our doorstep. We had a great evening out.

Driving in Turin wasn't easy and parking was some distance from the hotel and quite expensive. City center location trade off for minor inconvenience.

Quite small hotel in the city centre. We used Google map to find it. Only 15 min walk from piazza Carlo Felice. (Last stop of the airport bus transfer). Elevator going to each floor. Rooms are cleaned every day. Really friendly and helpful staff. You can’t ask for more. The hotel offers continental breakfast. They serve coffee if you want. If you are smoker you need to smoke on the street.
