The lobby had a wine bar with a lot of source of wine to choose from, and also Water disposal machine for tapwater sparkling water and hot and cold water. The breakfast was diverse and sufficient. In the evening the terrace cross the street was a very romantic place, and with excellent food.

In the room on the sealing there were a few spiders ans also spiderweb. And also the bathroom sealing was in a poor condition hidden by the light sealing. Behind there were big holes and you had the feeling something is going to come down from those wholes It was a creepy feeling going into the bathroom every time… (photos attached) and also in the bathroom were spiders and spiderweb all over the sealing. Probably with a good and more carefull cleaning they can be removed and the guest can enjoy a cleaner bathroom.

Clean and comfortable room with a restaurant/bar on first floor (didn't have a chance to eat there, but looked nice). I enjoyed the novel concept of the wine-tasting vending machine - enter your key card, place a glass, and choose from a small or medium taste to a full glass of several local wines. Payment is done at checkout. There was also an event at the piazza in front of the hotel with food, wine and a live big-band and singer. It was nice to catch some of the performance, and I appreciated that it ended at 10pm to not disturb the guests and neighbours. The location seems a bit out-of-the-way, but in reality is only about 5-10 mins from the Swiss/Italian border at Chiasso, and far enough from the autoroute to not hear it.

No coffee maker in room. Some rooms are in between floors so you have to bring luggage up or down 1/2 flight of stairs - not a big issue.

Terrific hotel, restaurant is really very special as is the wine cellar / collection.

Rooms were a bit basic, but had sufficient amenities and were very clean. Parking is troublesome, you have to pay for public parking - I was 5min returning to my car and received a ticket.

- Panorama Room is nicely renovated, well decorated. High quality interior (eg nice bar cabinet, closet and it’s cloat hangers…) - bed is excellent - size was good to stay with 2 adults + 2 kids (we stayed only one night) - hygiene is top, everything is super clean - staff is very helpful (guided us well to visit Como and find restaurants) - location is quite peaceful: not too touristic, charming square across the street, but not the ideal location if you want to experience Lake Como directly. It takes a 15min drive to get there (which is’t so far away, but I guess there are plenty of accommodations that are located at the lake itself)

- bathroom not renovated - there is paking just near the hotel, but it’s a blue zone (free parking for 1 hour). Everything else is Payable

Cosy, very friendly and clean hotel. Parking overnight is free on the public parking place across the road. Little terrace to have a coffee and breakfast in front of the hotel. Nice life-style atmosphere. Room and bath well equipped, clean and comfortable. Quiet location and Chiasso and motorway within easy reach by car. Original ideas around wine tasting and offering. All in all: Nice place to stay. Will come back for sure.

This is a nice boutique hotel on the Swiss side of Como. The staff is incredibly nice. We want to give Francesca a special mention because she was so accommodating to us. Thank you again! They also have an excellent breakfast. Italy is also very accessible. We actually walked to Cernobbio one day and it took under an hour but there are plenty of bus routes.

Very standard breakfast, but good coffee. Each day they give you exactly the same stuffs, not very exciting - only the yoghourt with muesli is healthy. Their restaurant food and wine is good. The bar is good, they gave us generous amount of extra tapas. The lady managing the reception, I supposed is the owner, is very kind, friendly and helpful, unusual for a Swiss hotel.. The restaurant and bar personnel are very friendly as well. Location is great as starting point for hiking or exploring the area. Lots of parking space nearby.

the very expensive wine dispenser available for guest's use by the hallway - good idea but shockingly expensive! We thought there was a mistake in the amount the dispenser released but maybe it was supposed to be for wine tasting or rather sniffing? They should provide a thimble instead of big wine glasses then.

We had a big beautiful apartment right next to the bus stop. The buses don‘t drive that frequently but often enough you just have to plan ahead. The staff is so friendly and they really try their best to make you happy.

I couldn’t find the times when the restaurant conca bella was open on the internet. I would public that or if it already is make it easier to find.

Very good breakfast and all staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the woman working breakfast who is very service minded.

Would like to have had some more variety on the menu in the restaurant but food is good.

Breakfast was very good, quality of food was excellent, coffee also. We liked your way of presenting the food. Rooms were quiet, beds firm and everything was clean. your breakfast and bar staff is very polite and friendly and professional
