Beautiful, location very close to Como, great balcony & wonderful friendly staff, the rooms were basic & a little dated, but very clean. Plenty of on site, safe parking There is a wonderful little balcony out front where we sat under the giant umbrella’s ( to keep out of the rain ) enjoying a few glasses of wine & some snacks before dinner. Dinner itself was fab, all 4 of us had something different & we all thoroughly enjoyed the flavours. We will defiantly return when we are in the area.

everything about this hotel was excellent. the staff was etremely nice and accommodating. the restaurant was exceptional. the location was perfect for what I wanted to do. located next to boat ferry that can take you to many towns on lake como. when i return, i will stay at this hotel if possible. could not have been more pleased with everything. everything in cernobbio was within walking distance. a beautiful city to visit. with beautiful, friendly people.

location just a short walk from the lake, breakfast really good the room looked out onto the courtyard from the breakfast room if look out you can see the part of the cave the hotel is cut out of. The evening meals are really great in a beautiful setting The people who work there are really superb and did a wonderful job helping when my my brother became ill I really cannot praise them enough thank you

Breakfast was great and we got it as gesture of good will, without us booking it in advance, all for free. The location is super! For this price in Como, it is a real gem. I liked the bed, it was not too soft and it had a good smell of laundry softener.

the main light in the room was really cold. I only used the sidebar tables lights because the light bulb was warm. the main room light had a super cold light. otherwise, everything was really good.

The lady at reception (Adriana) is very welcoming and helpful with whatever you might need! The location is top, top! And beautiful surroundings too. A very short walking distance to the lake, Cernobbio Town and Villa Erba and a super short drive to Villa d’Este. Nice and classical property with spacious rooms and wonderful view! Peaceful place to unwind.

We wanted to extend our stay, there was no availability so they were super kind to move us to an apartment which is part of the same building too. Unfortunately we only noticed the shower hose was extremely dirty quite late into the night. So we couldn’t get cleaners in to sort it out. It was full of wet mould everywhere, hence we couldn’t have a shower. But that was the only negative side to it. Everything else was wonderful!

I have never felt so welcomed and they were so friendly to our dog- I’m not surprised as they had their own roaming about and they were also so sweet to play with. One of our favorite places we have stayed ever and definitely was a highlight of our time in Cernobbio. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Even Nonna in our not being able to speak the same language, was able to communicate the joy and warmth here. The food was so good after eating here our first night, we had dinner a second night too. The branzino and pistachio raviolis were amazing. Thank you, if we ever come back to Cernobbio we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

it’s an old building, the rooms can be a little loud and you can hear what’s happening in your neighbors room and this is no slight at our neighbor, I think they were being normal volume. Is this a deal breaker no- not for us, we LOVED our stay here! But if you are a light sleeper something to keep in mind.

We had such a beautiful stay at Hotel Terzo Crotto. The staff were so friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful with a small balcony overlooking the terrace, and the location was great - just a small walk away from the Lake. The restaurant as well was absolutely delicious with amazing service. We can’t fault our stay at Hotel Terzo Crotto.

The owner his daughter and the staff were very helpful ... location is superb very close to ferry and bus station Place is cozy and restaurant food was excellent

Rooms are quite old and needs renovation ...breakfast was limited choice and jams not the best But overall was nice and I would stay there again and recommend it to friends

The property is just adorable and the staff was really accommodating. Breakfast was quaint and peaceful. The rooms weren't modern but had a certain charm and did the job. Overall, the experience was lovely.

Lovely family run hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent a/c in bedroom so very comfortable. Very good restaurant when we wanted it. Excellent breakfasts. Generous and obliging.

We liked this hotel very much. When it rained it would have been nice to have an indoor area other that bedroom to sit. But when weather was lovely the garden was absolutely delightful.
