We have stayed in Hotel Falier before so knew exactly what to expect. The location is perfect for us, only a short walk from the bus station and train station. Its in a slightly quieter area of Venice so not quite so packed with other tourists. Very good restaurant opposite and friendly local bar just up the street. The shower room had been upgraded since our last visit. Although the rooms are small they are beautifully decorated. Good basic breakfast. We would certainly stay there again.

There really is very little room to place even very small suitcases. More hooks would help, especially in the shower/toilet room. Also, if at all possible, a shelf for toiletries.

Hotel Falier is located close to the train/bus station, you only need to cross two-three bridges (railway station is behind three bridges). It is quite important factor since streets of Venice could be really narrow, with uneven pavement and all bridges have stairs to go up and down. If you have luggage you definitely do not want to carry it for long in Venice. Hotel itself was very clean, the same i could say about room. We did not have any problems with the bed in our room too - it was comfortable and also clean. They have additional blanket in case you are cold at night. All appliances in the room are new and in good condition.

Room was be relatively small. It was not a problem for us, but if you are travelling with more money and than one luggage bear in mind that there is a space to open just one suitcase at a time.

Exceptionally helpful staff. I booked the day before due to flight home being cancelled and needed another night accommodation at short notice. Ended up finding another flight home that day so I was only in the hotel for around 3 hours and can't give a full review but the staff were sympathetic to my situation, allowed me into the room a little earlier, printed my boarding passes and made arrangements for me to be able to return later that night if the flight didn't go off as planned.

Wasn't there long enough to enjoy it as I was only there for emergency night accommodation because my flight home was cancelled by easyJet on the morning of departure.

Really loved the place! The Aircon was great as we visited during the summer. Our room had great views of the neighbourhood and church tower. Great bathroom with a shower, and very cozy bedroom. Also located in a rather more chilled / quiet area of the inner city. The Hotel is only a few steps away from a nearby cafe where we got some nice cappuchino's the one morning and sat at the canal (which is also just accross the Hotel) and watched the gondolas pass by. They also offer breakfast (which looked delicious), however we decided to instead experience more of Venice and got some breakfast at a nearby Cafe. There is a very nice Platz walking distance away with lovely restaurants decorated by fairy lights. The Hotel also allowed us to store our luggage at reception before check-in time and after clock-out time on the day we left. The staff can speak English very well, they also helped us with navigation and how the water busses work. When I go to Venice again, I will definitely book with them again.

There was not anything that I did not like. We spent most of our day out wandering and seeing the city. We only came back to the hotel to freshen up, shower and sleep. For those who might want to spend more time in the Hotel, they also have cute balconies for all hotel guests where people can sit and enjoy the views.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Just a short walk from the booking office near the bus station for the vaporettos (water buses) and just over a mile walk from St. Marks - we enjoy walking. Close to fine restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean and good value for the price.

A kettle in the room to allow for early morning/ late night hot drink would have been nice, but this wouldn't stop us from going there again.

The location of the hotel was in a good location. Easy to come from the train station on foot. There were many restaurants in the neighborhood, so you didn't have to go far for dinner. The hotel room had just been renovated and everything was new. breakfast was good, bread, muesli, yogurt, fruit and pancakes were available every morning.

No any negative things to say.

Nice breakfast in garden. Big terace next to the room. Excellent location and nice staff. The cleaning was not perfect and the air quality was not good. No elevators and lots of stairs. But otherwise very good value for the money!

Air quality was bad. A bit damp. AC was too cold

The room decor was very nicely finished, and the room had plenty of space for storage and moving around. Very well positioned 10 mins from the station and very easy to walk to. Slightly out of the way so very quiet, but only a couple of minutes away from restaurants and bakeries.

The WiFi didn't work for us

We enjoyed the historic feel and location of Hotel Falier. :) Staff were also kind enough to hold our luggage after we’d checked out.

It didn’t interfere with our trip, but check-out was slightly long.
