The two men working at reception (Paolo & I didn’t get the name of the other lovely man!) were sooo helpful and friendly. I had so many questions every day and they were always more than happy to help. Can’t thank them enough!

I had some issues with the lady cleaning- I was the only room with a private terrace and she would just let herself into my room during the day (multiple times) and hang up other people’s dirty towels to dry on my terrace and smoke too! I was in and out of the hotel all day and my room smelled of cigarettes and I had to remove the towels in order to use the terrace I was paying for. I didn’t feel safe knowing she just came into my room whenever she felt like it, assuming I would be out for the day.

The location is just great. Near the San Zaccaria stop. Easy walkable distance from all the sights of interest. Supermarkets not far from the hotel. Nice restaurants and pasticceries around. The breakfast is a good one. You get croissants, bread, toast bread, juices, water, coffees, milk, honey, marmalade kinda jam, nut cream, butter, cheese, sort of bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereals, cookies and pie. That's more than enough I think. The personal is very attentive and friendly. You will find a homely comfortable atmosphere staying here.

One of the beds was a folding bed and not a full size single bed. But my kiddo said it's ok so I didn't complain.

The location is fantastic! It is 5min walk from arriving with water bus. Was absolutely easy to get with our big suitcases. It is close to all main attractions, restaurants and shops. But at the same time it is in a calm alley and you can sleep soundly. The hotel has this old Italian luxury interrior and atmosphere. It was great communivcation from hotel before our arrival explaing how to get there. And their answered our emails very quickly. The staff also recommended and booked us into a nice dinner restaurant. It is pretty good breakfast buffee for Italy. It is not as we are use to in Sweden but enough variety. There was a good airconditioner in the room that you could adjust the speed. This is a must in Vence as if we should open windows the mosquitos would have had a party :)

The only minus for the hotel was that in a very small shower they had shower curtains and they were always sticking to the body while showering. Which was not a nice feeling.

The room was ample. Believe we may have encountered some bed bugs, although all linens were fresh and clean as was the bathroom (it was a rainy couple of days). The hotel is quaint with a snug 1 flight stairs to rooms. The staff, Paolo, was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was just what I expected, good selection, fresh and in a small quaint living room type setting with small tables & Venetian decor. The location is on the canal but accessible through a Venice walkway. Close to San Marco, Rialto bridge and many restaurants and shops. If you want to shop leather, do it in Venice, great selection, prices and quality.

Great location.. Only a few minutes walk to all the main attractions (San Marco Plaza, the market, Rialto Bridge, and the water bus). . All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great communication before our arrival at the hotel. Paolo was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information on how to get to the hotel from the airport, which made our journey a lot easier, especially with our evening flight. We followed the instructions he gave us and we found the place easily. Claudio (I think that is his name) was also helpful and friendly, too.. Our room was small but comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here if we come to Venice.

The only thing that could be better is the breakfast.

Paolo is very friendly and helpful. He was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us very good information on checkin, breakfast, wifi, etc. our room was ready for us despite us arriving before check in which was perfect for a mid day nap after traveling since 3am. The hotel is located right on the canal with a gondola service two steps from the front door. The room itself is so vintage and makes you feel like you're stepping back in time into a castle (in the best way possible). Breakfast is included and the same lady who makes your espresso is the same one who cleans your room! Very family feeling (but I don't know if they really are family lolol). There was one night where the wifi was finicky but they were quick to resolve the issue and troubleshoot. Excellent place to stay and very romantic.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, only a five minute walk, if that, to St Mark's Square. From the airport we took a private water taxi which delivered us to within feet of the hotel's front door - it was a brilliant way to arrive into Venice. This is a small hotel with only a handful of rooms, there is a small reception area on the ground floor, our bedroom and the breakfast room were on the first floor. Breakfast is adequate and Continental foods available are toast, croissant, ham, cheese, coffee, tea, cereal, yoghurt. We had a big room for 4 of us, it was comfortable, the beds were firm, there were a few chairs and a TV, so everything we needed. There were no tea or coffee making facilities, but in fairness we didn't need them as we had come to see Venice and were on the go the whole time, the room therefore was for resting, sleeping and showering and for this it was great.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We were given a very warm welcome and the manager/receptionist could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He really was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of restaurants nearby, close to St Mark's Square, but down a back street so nice and quiet. The hotel is very old with old fashioned decor in the style of old Venice...but it is looking tired. It's a quaint place and the rooms are small but typical of Venice. Overall, we were comfortable and it made a good base.

Ideal location in the heart of Venice. The staff were very helpful and most spoke very good English. While you can't check in before 3pm, you can leave your bags to go and explore Venice, (you do leave them in the breakfast bar area however I felt safe leaving them there). If you arrive from the airport via the Water Bus (Hospital Stop), it's a 10 minute walk to the hotel.

Pablo was very helpfull , he kept in contact with us to assure us we would be accomoded when we came early with our luggage. We were given help securing a water taxi early Sunday morning to the airport. The breakfast was very good. We were located near every sight one could want to see , and it was walkable.

It is a very modest hotel , but a very good deal for the location. If stairs are an issue , it may be a problem , but they do have a chair lift.
