Breakfast definitely needs improvement. Variety and quality were not good.

Tea facilities on Level 3 wasn't always stocked and had no milk. No coffee on Level 3 either ! Room heating was turned off.

I was expecting a small low budget hotel but I was VERY surprised - the hotel was very big inside, beautiful.Every single person of the staff were extremely helpful, nice, that was probably the best part. They have helped us with everything we asked or needed.♥️Rooms were cozy, nothing super luxurious but very good atmosphere. It seems like they have fixed every single problem people were mentioning in previous reviews - showers and toilets seemed neewly made, water pressure was amazing. There was A/C in rooms. Little details like adding treats and water in common rooms. And for the price? A hotel basically next to the st. Marc square so cheap and so beautiful? Really cannot recommend more!!!

There was a broken light in our room but I believe that if we told the staff they would fix it immediately, we just did not tell them. Other than that I really cannot think of anything to complain about.

The staff at this guest house were brilliant. They are so helpful and accommodating. We got a lovely room overlooking a canal. There is a constant supply of beverages in the lounge area. They had good recommendations for places to eat. I believe we were close to a local residents area, but also 7 min walk to San Marco. So eating and relaxing in Campo S. Maria was very enjoyable just outside of the madness of the main area. The clock tower that crumbled in the Spiderman movie is overlooking the Campo. Also, the cafe behind this, made the BEST coffee. We did have a fantastic breakfast at Locanda Silva. This was a fantastic bonus during our stay. Thank you all at Locanda Silva.

Nice information from the hotel before arrival about boatstrike on my arrival day, very quiet room on the topfloor, breakfast was very good (no eggs or other warm dishes, but always some cheese and cold meat), nice and helpful staff and a very good location in the middle of the city!

Room Nr. 19 was next to the public terrasse, which was/can be a bit noisy. I had a room with shower/toilet on the floor and had to ask for toiletpaper to be refilled. Handpapertowels were never filled up during my stay. Breakfast room is not too big, so it can be, that you have to wait some minutes to get a table.

I was very pleasantly surprised, shocked even, at how nice this place was. Breakfast was lovely, the staff were all friendly, the location was perfect for me. So close to everything you'd want to be but quiet on a night time. There were 2 little balconies where you could sit and chill with some food or just enjoy the views. Waking up to the sound of the church bells was exquisite. Certainly will be staying here if/when I come back to Venice. Thank you so much everyone at Locanda Silva!

This hotel is ideal for families, the size of the room is just what a 3member family needs. It is located in a walking distance from all the must sees for a 2-3 days in Venice! The breakfast is very good and all the ladies exceptional and friendly! The bathroom was very clean and the towels and bedsheets brand new, freshly cleaned, soft and bright white. It’s a go for families.

Generally the hotel could be refurbished but still if your are looking for a decent and convenient stay it will definitely accommodate your needs.

The location is superb!As i am travelling with my two kids (symmetrien)we just go around the center in the morning and then go back to our hotel whenever it becomes Too hot outside or when the kids are tired so it is very convenient location for us.The breakfast was ok,simple,bread,ham,yoghurt and juice,Coffee/Tea No warm dishes.The staff are also helpful and so accommodating!

The breakfast was the same everyday,same bread,ham drinks,so third morning the kids just don’t like it anymore,maybe a little variation every other day Will be better.The AC in the room(i think its Too old)was dropping so much water that i need to put towels on the floor so the floors don’t get wet.

The location is just perfect. It is 5 min walk from the main square next to the channel. Room is cleaned daily and outside of the room everything looks shinny clean.

Breakfast in the hotel and overpriced food in general in Venice is a bit problematic. For breakfast we had a coffee, orange juice, yoghurts, Muesli, butter and jam, several slices of bread and croissant with 2-3 salami slices and 2 cheese slices. You wont stay hungry but I have higher expectation for the breakfast in the hotel.

The hotel was great, but the staff really stood out to me! The staff was exceptional! During our visit to Venezia, apparently, there was a general strike of public transportation. We did not know about this and the staff sent us a message before our trip which allowed us to prepare for any delays. I'm very grateful for this! In addition, we were allowed to store our luggage at the hotel after check-out. This was very useful to us as we checked out in the morning and our flight was in the evening. Didn't have to carry the bags with us all day.
