Location close to Rialto Bridge is excellent. The hotel is not a luxury one, but it is welcoming and comfortable. We love it. The fish soup served in the restaurant is second to none and a meal in itself.

I was sorry to hear from the hotel manager that Malibran's day might be numbered as it might soon be sold and renovated. Venice would not be the same without this comfortable, slightly quirky hotel.

The room was big enough for two of us and decorated in an old Venice style which was lovely. The en suite bathroom was small, but had all we need and was clean and tidy. The location was perfect, central to the whole island, close to many restaurants, Burger King, Mcdonalds, and many other shops as well including a convenience store which came in handy. No matter where you go to in Venice, it is not too far from the hotel. We walked everywhere in Venice and was glad our hotel was fairly close to everything. What makes it perfect though is that it is only a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the main ‘High St’, but is also very quiet because it is set back from it. A buffet breakfast was also included in the price. There were plenty to eat and drink including croissants, bread, boiled eggs, selection of ham and cheese, cereal, fruit salad, other sweet dessert type things, hot drinks machine, and water. I’m sure there were other things too that I have forgotten. We had a lovely time in Venice and glad we chose to stay at this hotel.

The carpets on the stairs was worn. However it really did not detract from our stay and the good far outweighs any negatives.

Loved the staff at the hotel, super friendly, supportive and polite :) The location was really good too, the building was really beautiful:)

The room was tiny and felt a bit old, however I slept really well there.

The location is excellent! I would choose this hotel again just for the location. The hotel was extremely central! The breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean.

Expect worse room quality than the picture provided. The bathroom was tiny, and the hairdryer didn't work properly (2-3 sec only). The hotel does not provide an iron station, so either bring your own, or clothes that don't need ironing.

The hotel was easy to get to from the airport by boat and a half mile walk for the route we chose. Hotel is positioned in a pleasant square and has ideal outside eating areas as well as indoors.We decided on full board and was very pleased with all the meals we ate during our 3 nights stay. There was a wide selection of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes.The drinks were extra,but at a reasonable price. Our twin bedded room with bathroom was quaint and there was sufficient room for our short time that we spent in it during our stay. The staff were very helpful and super efficient.

We would have to be very picky to criticise this hotel for the price we paid.Further, the smiling,polite and helpful staff met all expectations to make our stay happy and memorable.

Friendly and helpful staff.The hotel is in a central part of Venice with a good restaurant but because of adjacent courtyards is not too noisy at night.I was impressed by the cleanliness.The furnishings of the hotel are well worn but the painted Venetian furniture is charming.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is quite good with very good breakfast, the staff is friendly and supportive. In spite of single room size the rooms are comfortable. The cleaning service serve the room every day and change the towels. There are many restaurants, shops and attractions in the nearby of the hotel. Very easy to reach the hotel as by bus as by boat.

The single room size: the room is to small. Also the noise isolation. Only these few things.

The location was perfect - right in the centre! A half an hour walk from the bus and train station and a 15 minute walk to St Mark's square. Also, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Good variety for breakfast. Perfect for what I needed!

Nothing really wrong with the hotel, maybe the rooms could be updated a little more? For example, one of the plug sockets didn't work and I didn't realise the bathroom was a wet room. Again, I didn't mind!

The hotel is located perfectly, in the middle of Venezia, 2 minutes from Ponte Rialto. Very easy to reach it from the train station or Piazzale Roma, either by water bus or even on foot (although you do need to walk for 20 minutes). Very friendly staff, and the breakfast was very good. Plenty options for those who eat gluten free. The restaurant serves gluten free pizza and pasta as well. Clean towels every day, AC working just fine.

I was disappointed by the size of the room. It was the smallest room in the hotel, I think. Not a huge deal, because I was out all day long, and only slept in there. The dinner on the first night there wasn't quite that good. The salmon was a bit dry, and it came with 4 halves of baked potatoes, which looked like they were one day old, and just reheated.

it was centrally located. The building and its facade reflected Venice and its ancient history while the rooms and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The hotel opens into two beautiful small plazas one, near a historical theatre. There is an option to have breakfast, lunch or dinner served by the hotel, outdoors in those gorgeous plazas
