The staff were amazing, especially the breakfast ladies. Breakfast with a smile every day. The food, truly delish.

My mattress was very one sided and I felt I was rolling out of bed constantly. I did ask if the mattress could be flipped over but it still seemed the same so I think it might have been the bed. It was quite expensive for a 4 night stay so my expectations were high, but the room, though adequate, I thought would be better. I understand rooms were being refurbed and that we had a Typical Venetian room - That wasnt a problem, I just expected a better, more glamourous Venetian room!

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast were exceptionally lovely. The breakfast was a very good buffet style with eggs to order. The hotel is in a great location for restaurants and souvenir shops. The bed was comfortable, toilet and shower were modern, the whole room was very clean. The room was a nice blend between traditional decor and modern features.

We arrived and left via train. I carried and wheeled the bags to and from the station. This task would be difficult for some travellers.

Exceeded our expectations! Room was upgraded to a Suite, which was a nice surprise. Had small elevator to get to 1st floor. Breakfast was wonderful, many options including eggs, waffles and pancakes. Staff was exceptional provided guidance on attractions and transportation options. When we go back to Venice will definitely stay there again, super close to Vaporetto station to have access to all the Venice shopping and sights.

When we went on the free tour, we were picked up by taxi at the hotel but no one told us that a ride back to the hotel was not provided. We were dropped off at an unfamiliar spot that was far away from our hotel, with no prior warning , with no map, in a foreign city. This was an unpleasant end to a nice tour. Poor communication by the front desk personnel. Other than that one experience, the hotel and staff were great.

Lovely area of Venice within 2/3 minutes of restaurants and shops without being in a super busy, noisy area. Beautiful room (superior double). Lovely breakfast. Cute little garden. The staff were excellent. Every staff member we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. The service couldn’t be faulted.

There was only one plug socket in the room and it was literally by the front door. would be better placed next to the bed or by the table. One plug wasn’t enough and really was too far away.

An ideal central location for exploring Venice but also quiet, a private water taxi will drop you off right at the door and the porter carried our bags to our room. We had a lovely traditionally decorated room which was clean, had fresh large towels each day, robes, slippers, mini fridge. Breakfast was lovely with a full hot/cold selection. The staff at this hotel are wonderful, always a smile and ready to assist.

We missed not having tea/coffee making facility in our room. Pillows were flat and I found them to be hard and a little uncomfortable but minor niggles.

The location was great, the room was very clean with a modern bathroom. The staff was fantastic, especially the servers for breakfast, they went out of they way to make sure we had everything we needed. Being from North America our coffee tastes are different so the girls made our coffee just the way we like it. Starting your day with a good cup of coffee and a excellent breakfast set the stage for the rest of the day to site see! We plan on a return trip and hope to be staying there again.

The bed was not as comfortable and the pillows too flat (low) but for a short term say it was not unbearable. Having two extra pillows to stack up would have made a big difference for me.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the canal. The location of the hotel is very convenient and in a more quiet area of Venice. There is very nice staff . Breakfast was amazing - particularly loved the fresh waffles a la carte.

It was a little noisy in the early morning as my room was directly on the canal and the deliveries and services started at an early time and woke me up. Otherwise everything was great.

Brilliant staff and the best breakfast I have had in Italy.

My room was number 5 and the window was directly onto the busy footpath outside and the noise outside from people and trollies was constant. Five feet between pillow and busy thoroughfare please see attached photo. My kids were in room six an internal room with a view of the garden. It was perfect.

- There was a nice outdoor courtyard area, in which you could eat breakfast or have a drink. Lovely addition! - Far enough away from busy areas to be quiet and relaxing. - Friendly staff.

- The chrome finishing on the fixtures and bathroom door were fading, so the bathroom door became transparent and you could see into the toilet through reflections in the door frame. Not ideal for people sharing a room!
