The property was lovely and clean with traditional Italian decor. The air conditioning was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served outside with a great selection of food. The Prosecco was a lovely touch and the coffee was excellent The property is five minutes from the centre of Verona and there are lots of lovely restaurants close at hand. It is also a short walk (around fifteen minutes) to walk to the bus/train station where you can easily get a bus to the airport for 7euros and a train to Pescheria del Garda to cruise around lake Garda

The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained; it is kept clean for a dated hotel. The location is incredible! So central and so easy to get around with so many lovely local restaurants to choose from.

The parking is a bit of a faff - I would recommend going directly for the car parks in the city. The small spot outside the hotel feels like you're going to knock into someone eating in the restaurant. The stair carpets were quite precarious. The runners kept coming undone, which is a little dangerous. The first-floor bedrooms are a little noisy. We were opposite the breakfast room, which meant a lie-in was unlikely. Avoid is possible.

Perfect hotel in excellent location near amphitheater, hop on hop off bus, many restaurants steps away. Catarina was superb prior to arrival and on arrival to help unload and park and use her charm to arrange late lunch next door. Most significantly, she was remarkable when I realized I left my passports and wallet in room safe. This was upon arrival at Torbole Lake Garda. She worked with the Garda hotel proprietor to fix the situation!!!😅 The hotel was perfect. Large , quiet room with large bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Best night sleep since start of trip. Highly recommend for well priced, classic, cozy hotel experience!

Location, location, location. Right in the middle of everything. You can even hear the music from the arena - so you don’t need a ticket for a concert ;) The rooms are very basic, but spotless clean. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants are all around the corner. WiFi is free and most of the time it works well.

I’ve been to Verona before, the hotels are more expensive than ever before, Hotel Torcolo is no exception. But it’s a bit cheaper than others, at least.

The location couldn't have been better, you can walk everywhere really easily and even reach the funicular across the river within 15 mins. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, we had our room upgraded and were offered use of the bar and toilet facilities after we'd checked out until our flight. The room was quaint but clean and overlooked the front of the hotel, but quiet and peaceful as it's tucked behind the main Piazza. The mini bar and free toiletries were appreciated! Will definitely visit again if in Verona and have already recommended it to many people.

My partner found the bed a bit too firm for him but I had a great night's sleep, it was bigger than my kingsize bed at home. Tea and coffee in the room would've been nice as we didn't book in for breakfast but there are no shortage of cafes on your doorstep.

The thing about this hotel - you get what you paid for. Yet the people who work there are so nice and warm! They make you feel at home and care about you! I had not enough light in my room and the front desk woman took care of this problem and found me a different room! I am so grateful to those people! In fact, the facilities are going to get better! It's clean and nice!

Rooms could be small, the outlets are not conveniently located. Lights are too dim. But if you talk to the front desk about it, they'll accommodate you for sure.

No complaints at all, staff were great and helpful when i needed to find out about how to get to our next destination. Breakfast was good value too, typical continental, i saw that they also cooked eggs to order (but we didn't). Very close to the arena so you can hear the concerts, if there are any on during your stay.

This is more of a general complaint about most places, flyscreens on all your windows wouldn't go astray. Would love to leave the window open but don't want to be eaten to death by the mosquitoes.

The best thing about this hotel is its location! It's located literally 20 steps from Arena di Verona. Easy to walk around the old city center and close to the local city attractions and shopping streets.

The is no parking lot at all. In the description, it says there is a parking but there isn't really. They offer you the option to park somewhere in the city with their "permit" but there is no chance of finding a free spot anywhere near the hotel. So there is only the parking garage option which costs 15€ per day. The garage is very close to the hotel, directly in the city center and it's safe and protected.

The staff at this small, clean, lovely hotel were warm and knowledgeable. The best! We felt cared for and at home. The location was beyond all expectation. We stayed in a fancier place in Milan but this vintage hotel was more exciting to my 7 and 11 year old kids because of the details. We felt like we were in the heart of Verona. Not one complaint! Coffee was delicious. Just right…and an incredible deal on top!

There is nothing we didn’t like!! The breakfast is more basic than a bigger hotel’s, but there are three lovely spots to enjoy it and cappuccino was my favorite yet…and there’s a restaurant downstairs we didn’t get to try. Clean, comfy and fabulous location.

I enjoy staying at this hotel, which I have used previously. The location is great, very close to the Arena and a pleasant walk to the centre of the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. I particularly like the breakfast being served outdoors. The room was quite large and the bed comfortable. Plenty of restaurants are nearby.

There was nothing that I disliked. I look forward to my next visit!
