Comfort Inn & Suites Waterloo – Cedar Falls

The battery in my car died…instead of telling me who to call for a tow the staff boosted my car AND led me to nearest Advanced Auto to get a new battery!!! Thanks to Dakota and Kent I made it back home! Thanks to those fine staff members!! (They would not even accept a tip for their services!)

We had a king suite. The bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of space with a sofa bed and a chair. Plenty of water pressure in the shower. We were just passing through.

The bathroom was very small.

The room was very clean. the breakfast was very nice. It was nice to have a complete breakfast instead of a bag lunch. the room was very quiet. There was no outside noise once you were in the room.

We had a handicap accessible room, but the toilet in the bathroom was too low. It was not a high rise toilet. It was a good thing we brought our toilet riser along.

The guy working the counter was very nice and helpful. He answered all my questions and gave us a few places to visit while there. We did not eat the breakfast, only because we had already promised our daughter something else.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was good.

Soft bed, nice pillows.

Loud guests running in hallway and in room over my head. Child running back and forth for hours. Front desk clerk said she would "call them" and ask them to stop; no result. Running and thumping continued, again in early hours. Couldn't sleep, no help from staff.

Easy to find. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Lots of good lighting. Bedside reading lights were great.

Older property, clean but needing some new carpeting. Parking lot filled up quickly, not enough spaces? Room temperature was difficult to maintain at same comfort level, HVAC unit was noisy. Desk chair was very broken down, not supportive for sitting to work at desk.

Nice comfortable room. Beds and pillows very comfy. Great breakfast!

Tub would not drain. On mattress pad lots of hairs.

I was not able to use my booking, but my friend used it and they said they had a great stay.

I wish it had been a free cancelation booking. I was not able to go on my trip, and lost the money I spent. Thankfully a friend was able to use it. My loss their gain.

Cleanliness of room

Breakfast variety,and noise outside of the room.. phone charging station out of order. Could only charge 1phone at a time with other sockets.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

I didn't realize that since Covid I had to ask for daily housekeeping. I thought housekeeping had just missed our room. Thus, we had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels. That is when we discovered that housekeeping was not automatic.
